Technology Is The Key Factor For Future Generations
Hsun Tzu once said "Blue comes from the indigo plant but is bluer than the plant itself."(Encouraging Learning.) What he meant by that was every
generation of people come from the one before and through education they will become more knowledgeable and educated than the last generation.
Education is the key factor in differing generations, without it they would only be replicas of the generation beforehand. Without being taught
education we would still be in "Caveman Times" creating fire with sticks instead of where we are today creating advanced technology that would
help educate the minds of many for future generations to come. Education brings us knowledge, from knowledge we gain power, with power we
can create justice and freedom; yet without it we would just remain the color of the indigo plant. Ask yourself how one can tell another a fact or
news if they were not knowledgeable on the information. To be knowledgeable would to me to have been educated on a certain topic or event. In
order to strengthen our knowledge we must first become educated on the material. The wheel, was created back in the cavemen era from stone, only
to be recreated with rubber and steel and placed onto a car to create a vehicle. Without prior knowledge of the wheel automobile companies would have
a hard time trying to figure out what would make the car move smoothly. Our forefathers, Thomas Jefferson signed by him and the other members of
the Continental Congress, wrote out to tell the world

My Generation And The Future Of Our Generation
Whether virtuous or erroneous, potential advancements made by my generation as a whole can be far larger in scale than the changes made by any
of the preceding generations in all of human history. However, this isn't due to a disproportionate amount of prodigies or revolutionary thinkers.
This is simply because of the advancements and efforts of our predecessors that we possess advantages and tools such as: a seemingly infinite pool
of accessible knowledge, means to collaborate with the greatest minds the world has to offer, and increasing opportunities to create and revolutionize
the world around us. One major contributing factor as to why my generation possesses the potential to cause major impacts on the future is the vast
amount of information readily available to us. The pool of information isn't only found on the internet or in books, but also in the wisdom and
experiences of the elder generations. The pool of information allows us to quickly solve problems and make more informed decisions. My
generation's efforts can be directed towards the new problems that develop and to further the collective knowledge of humanity. This positive feedback
loop promotes a future of increased efficiency at solving problems and making decisions. A time consuming part of the problem solving and decision
making process is obtaining the information necessary. The more reliable information one has, the faster and easier the dilemmas are solved. Another
advantage my generation has is the

An Apology To Future Generations Analysis
The rapper Kanye West stated "She don`t believe in shooting stars but she believes in shoes and cars." Malls, Outlets and online resources are the
most common sources for shopping experiences for many people today. There are also the many food outlets and sales that encourage people to
purchase items that may or may not be necessary. In her essay, "American Consumerism," Jamie Bentley reflecting on Simon Benlow's essay "An
Apology to Future Generations" that expresses concern about consumers' negative impact on the environment reveals this generation's obsession with
materialism, with the hope that people will learn to do more with less. The many options available to purchase items create a problem for individuals
who desire to have what they... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many people can recall having to work for everything they wanted as a child. The spoiled–ness has to be at an all–time high because the many kids
that have every release and every designer shoe or clothing. Material items have created havoc in the past with the many shootings and the stealing
that can occur at the releases. The store release of items has changed everything due to the limit of items they have and give out because the next
person that does not purchase it becomes angry. Black Friday, the holiday that many people love because of the sales presented at each store. Parents
are starting to spoil their children because they do not want their child to feel as they are under privileged. So, referring back to the releases and
sales, parents try their hardest to give their kids the money to purchase the items. Children become ungrateful and become angry at the world, when
they do not get what they want because they were raised to always do... A spoiled attitude tends to create the failures in the world because of their

Juvenile Justice: Helping or Hurting the Future Generations of America
Jennifer B. Moye
CRJU 2400 IA: Survey of Juvenile Justice
Valdosta State University
Abstract
In the second half of the twentieth century, the United States faced a problem of enormous impact on society negatively affecting families, the
economy, and the future of American children: the vast, and ever–increasing number of youths being processed through the juvenile justice court
system. In the years since the turn of the century, through implementation of legislation sponsored by activists, lawyers, community organizers,
educators and other reformers focusing mainly upon curbing youth incarceration, and instead promoting community and social alternatives, the most
recent trends reflect a stemming and actual decline of youths entering the United States juvenile justice system. Most recently, leading the way in the
effort to decrease the number of children processed through the courts is the State of Georgia, recent legislation of which has drastically reduced the
number of juveniles incarcerated by an amazing rate. This paper will analyze the importance of continuing this trend of a lower rate of juvenile arrests
and incarceration by moving away from the practices in effect in the United States during the twentieth century that created the unsustainable increase
in same; an exploration of whether or not these practices led the United States juvenile justice system away from its original policy mandate of

The Importance Of The Future Generation
Do we have a responsibility to future generations? I believe we do, that we have a responsibility to ensure the best possible future for the future
generations of not only out direct descendants but the future generations of the human species. What that responsibility entails and why it exists is the
purpose of this paper, to define the reasons why there is a responsibility, what they are, and how many people are we responsible for.
The Native American concept of generations shown through the River of life book regards the importance of seven generation. This concept focuses
on the wellbeing of the next seven generations, focusing on the preservation of culture and environment rather than short term and immediate gains.
The Native Americans rely on culture, tradition and their history in order to make decisions, seeking to preserve the way of life and adjust more
carefully. These ideas are also associated with being in tune with nature, which changes slowly and focuses on balance. The idea of life being
interconnected is shown through the medicine wheel as described
"The Medicine Wheel is a powerful metaphor for the totality of life. All aspects of creation and consciousness, inclusive of the mineral, plant, animal,
human and spirit realms are contained within the center and four directions of the Medicine Wheel. They overlap and interweave to form the whole. It
is in the center of the Medicine Wheel that we find the void, black hole, sacred zero, the chaos at the course

the country.
Last but not least, my final point is the young generation must get an exposure to the financial knowledge. They must have knowledge about finances
so that they will strive to be financially stable in order to help other people. The youngsters must also be exposed to modern technologies. They must
be IT savvy to survive in this modern era and also to move along with the advancement of technology. When the young generation are IT savvy, they
can perform da'wah through media like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. In other words, the young generation must have a wide knowledge in
finances and technology.
My beloved friends..
The development of a country depends on its generation. If we have a good generation, we will have a great country. If we have a bad generation, we
will have a poor country. So, we must seek for knowledge more and more. Make our dream come true. Ask not what have your country done for you,

And Values Of The Future Generations
When thinking about what is necessary to pass on to the future generations, people of different ages and backgrounds consider what is critical to vary.
During and after the interview I had with my mother discussing what advice and concepts we want the future generations to know, it was evident how
we similarly and differently saw the world. When our answers were the same, it was typical because my mother has instilled what she thinks are
important values in me. When our answers where different, however, it could occasionally be blamed on the generational gap between us or the
difference in values based on when we were raised. It is evident that my mother and I want the future people of our society to have many of the same
qualities we try to exhibit every day. The similarities between the two sets of answers was astonishing. In fact, about half of my mother and my
answers were identical or had a different phrasing of an identical idea. For our concepts, we both though that it is important to be self–sufficient or
self–reliant. This way of thinking is something both my grandmother and mother value, so it must have been passed onto me. The second concept that
we both had in common was to find one's personal truth and listen to others points of view. These may seem different, but in my answer of listening to
others points of view, the main outcome of that is to create one's own idea from others. This relates to my mother's answer of finding inner truth
because both concepts

The Rights And Protection Of Our Future Generations
Introduction It is difficult to imagine a world where children have no voice in society, and a government that lacks laws endorsing the rights and
protection of our future generations. And yet, there are still millions of children around the world who suffer from human rights abuses and other
forms of protection. For example, "Children in Nepal, Uganda, and the Congo are used as soldiers on the front lines of armed conflicts. Police in
Bulgaria and Guatemala beat and torture homeless street children; disabled children in Romanian orphanages are confined to cribs for life, eating and
defecating in their crib. Millions of children around the world, including in developed countries such as England and the United States, are subject to
poverty, violence, rape, and cruelty "(Human Rights, 2008). Although it may seem like these issues are primarily outside of the U.S. what about issues
that children in our culture struggle with even today? For example, what is easy to miss by someone who has never traveled outside of the U.S., why
is it that children around the world die of hunger and thirst, are abandoned, and forced to fend for themselves? Why should governments feel obligated
to care and protect children when they don't have any political rights and are not bringing immediate benefits to the current government or to its
economy? An important issue revolves around prioritization of rights when resources are limited or when rights conflict (Khadka, 2013).

Developing A Oriented Products For The Future Generation
Living in the 21st century, everyone wishes to start a business that focuses on developing technically oriented products, or at least become part of
such an organization, which is an acceptable fact of human life, as every person has a desire to be successful in their career domain. Some prefer to
excel in the job world by making above par contributions, while some prefer to do something unique in a field where they have a certain level of
expertise or have an idea, which they believe can solve an issue that is prevalent for the current generation. With such a goal in mind, they make
something that can solve that challenge for not only the current generation, but also open up many avenues of improvement, for the future generation.

But indeed, as simple it may seem, it is a path that is full of challenges, but with very fruitful and promising outcomes, which acts as a motivating
factor for an individual to put effort and time into his/her idea from beginning till end. With such an image in mind, the author is trying to convey
the idea of why the current generation of individuals should indulge in a startup? Therefore, to build a foundation for such a persuasion, he uses
some of the key points as the argument pillar and expanded upon them. Such key points would be; understanding the core concept of the startup,
likelihood of why someone should pursue it and finally the challenges associated with such a venture, and how to solve such issues. What exactly
is a word startup? A startup, is basically a stage that comes after the brainstorming process has occurred, where an individual or group of individuals
try to come up with a solution for a complex problem, by improving an existing idea or coming up with a completely new one. More than that, it is a
sense of being able to give something back to society that can either educate them better, or improve their lives. A startup is indeed a way to indicate
someone's passion, and their will power to initiate a large scale project. Therefore, another way to look at startup, would be entrepreneurship, which

Environmental Concerns And Its Effects On Our Future...
Water America is known for many great things, however it is also the butt of many jokes regarding our "bigger is better" lifestyle and our need for
more. Now though, I realize the seriousness of these jokes come from the truth of our wasteful ways of living and our over use of nonrenewable
resources. Ironically then how now we have gone so far that we are literally eating up one of earth 's most valuable renewable resources: water. We
Americans use more water than another country, including China whose population is more than double our own. If we do not decrease our
dependency of this life sustaining resource than not only will we be destroying the world for our future generations, but we'll be destroying the world

Jennifer Wagner creator of a website called FreshWater Crisis in which she states that water is above all other resources, "With resources like
electricity, you can produce more to meet demand of a growing population. Water does not function this way. The balance between the number of
people and the amount of available freshwater is dangerous." But here we are as Americans using our water for shows and entertainment, building
huge fountains rather saving waterfalls. A question that many of us don 't think about is where our water comes from and the first thing that we
imagine is a kitchen sink or maybe a refrigerator but really it comes from rain and lakes that collect rain, but other than that there is no real fresh water
on earth. Majority of Earths drinking water is unusable. While the Earth is mostly made of water only 1 percent of the total water is actually
drinkable. That means that 99 percent of it is not usable or safe to digest, on top of this 70 percent of the freshwater on Earth is frozen in ice caps.
You dont have to be good at math to learn then that we are only able to use 30 percent of the total fresh water on this planet. Steven Solomon, the

Geo Engineering And Its Effects On The Future Generations
Currently, geo–engineering has not been developed or tested to ensure its efficacy and safety. I know that this uncertainty can be lessened through
predictions or computer–generated simulation. Despite these efforts, there will still be a percentage of uncertainty when it comes to the risk that future
generations may face. Hence, developing and utilizing geo–engineering may have adverse effects in the future generations, which becomes an ethical
issue. Subjecting the future generation to the unknown effects of carbon removal or aerosol dispersal in the atmosphere may cause more harm for we
cannot 100% predict the future. Others may argue that geo–engineering may lead to the ensured survival of the future generations. They may live...

To put it simply, "Tragedy of the Commons" highlights the rational decisions of an individual to use the common resource without regard for the rest
of the people who also utilize it until they have depleted the common resource as a whole. Also, this concept can be applied to the problem of climate
change. A nation or society may continue to releasegreenhouse gas emissions without regard for the other nations in the world. Later on, the rest of the
world, including that nation will suffer due to the rise in temperatures or sea levels and the other effects of climate change. Not only does this concept
relate to the actions of a certain group that leads to the harmful effects of climate change, but geo–engineering can also be subjected to the "tragedy of
the commons". For instance, a country deploys aerosols in the atmosphere or plants reflective crops to mitigate the effects of climate change. Still, the
nation next to it may continue to carry out actions without regard to their carbon footprint, since this neighboring nation feels that its neighbor's
geo–engineering technologies are already taking care of the problem. For that reason, the neighboring nation's lack of regard to the problem can be seen
as unethical. Despite the fact that the problem is being addressed by one country, it does not give another nation the right to continue their contribution
to the problem. Hence, their rational decision to

Wind Energy for Future Generation Essay
Everyday we sit and work with our laptop, watch TV, play with tablets, use the coffee machine, use the lights, etc. Electrical appliances and devices
exist today in very large numbers and will keep on growing at a very fast rate. In order to meet demands for electrical power, fossil fuels have been
the main force of producing electricity ever since the industrial age. As effective as fossil fuel is, it will not last forever due to the fast rate of
consumption and increasing electricity demand. As supplies of fossil fuel dwindle, it has become clear that renewable energy will become the primary
source of global energy. Of all renewable energy sources that are available, wind energy stands at the top. We had use wind to do work for us... Show

The picture in that book that I remembered the most is the one with a field of mirror shining directly towards a receiving end of the tower located at
the center of the mirror field. That picture was dubbed as solar energy. Because that picture was the most interesting one that I came across, I went
back to see what unit the picture was set in. I found out that picture was in the unit named Electrical Energy Sources. From then on I always wanted to
see anything that is similar to what I saw from that textbook. All these years I did not spot anything that is remotely similar to that picture, however,
when I did spot places where they generates electricity they all had smokestacks.
I then learned that there are two types of energy sources: non–renewable energy, renewable energy. I realized that non–renewable was much more
popular than renewable energy as for the only other renewable energy plants that I saw was the Hoover Dam from 2005, and the wind farms in Austria
from 2011. I then thought why are renewable energy so rare compared to the non–renewable energy counterpart. That all changed when I entered high
school.
In my science class in high school, I learned something called total net energy cost. It means monitoring the how much the positives compare and offset
over the negatives. In this case I learned the net energy cost of running different renewable energy and non–renewable energy. Non–renewable energy
is very effective because it

The Future Of The Millennial Generation
My Grandma used to tell me that every penny saved is a penny earned, but what she
didn't mention was how hard it is to actually save that money in this time period where money is
just some set of digits on a screen. The millennial generation is in more of a financial crunch
now than any other generation has ever been in and it's looking like its getting worse. You can
call them narcissistic, materialistic, and entitled, but millennials are set on the hunt on achieving
financial goals. They are trying to keep up with their friends with the latest technology that
booms something new every day. They are trying to get by financially with their current
situations and trying to live their daily lives. Some are paying off their education, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Millennials who are in student debt will make more than half a million compared
to high school graduates. (Dunlop para 2). I believe that this shows to some extent that they are
financially responsible to use it for something that will benefit in the long run; they are in debt
because they have to be to" make it" with the costly expenses and in the future if they increase.
More Job opportunities are out there, but they are looking for more experience and education in
the desired work or field.
While student loans rank the highest debt on the list, credit card debt is another form of
debt that has millennials tearing up their credit cards. Technology through communication for
example, has been a beneficial thing to many to stay in contact with friends and family members
in a more efficient and fast way than ever before. When one form of technology booms brand
new, then a newer one will over rule it the next day. Millennials are being targeted to the latest
technology and gadgets and our friends are influencing, comparing, and telling them what they
need next. Deanna White, a journal author writes on millennials financial habits says three
quarters of young adults use their friends ' financial habits to determine their own.. She also

A Critique of Arguments Against Taking Future Generations...
A Critique of Arguments Against Taking Future Generations Into Account
In doing the readings for this week, I noticed that there were few
arguments in favor of ignoring concern for future generations. A large
percentage of the authors seemed to feel that it is our moral
responsibility to at least take the well being of future generations into
account in our decision–making (Note: these authors also provided us with
powerful arguments as to why we have a moral obligation to future
generations). In trying to figure out why there were so few arguments on
the other side of the issue, I realized that there simply aren't many ways
to argue against our moral responsibility to future peoples. I would like

I see a similar flaw in both of these
arguments –– namely that they only address the issue of human survival or
extinction, rather than grappling with the issue of well–being. While it
may be easy to write off the survival of the human species, I think it
requires a much greater level of callousness to condemn future generations
to years of struggle and illness. Perhaps its not too difficult to think
about the extinction of humans and say well, maybe we deserved it.
However, I find it excruciatingly difficult to approve of actions which
could cause the suffering of thousands of generations. Already, the earth
has seen dramatic increases in cancer rates and we have seen the
horrendous consequences of nuclear fall–out. If we continue to ignore the
impact which our actions have on the future, we will also see an increase
in these problems. The question which I am left with is: Can we, in good
conscience, condemn anyone (present or future peoples) to increases in
these sorts of problems? The answer to this question is found in many of
our readings for this week. One of the most powerful answers seems to lie
in Des Jardins book.
In discussing the writings of Richard Sylvan and Val Plumwood, Des
Jardins writes:
The present generation is sending extremely toxic wastes on a train ride
into the future with the worlds future populations, perhaps as

Global Climate Change Is The Future Of The Entire Generation
Global climate change transcends the future of the entire generation. Yunjing Wang mentions that the world is expecting warming that could be
dangerous throughout the century (Wang et al., 2015). Not only effecting species of animals but also determining the presence of human existence.
New diseases prevail on a daily basis specifically vector borne. These vector borne illnesses adapt to climate change due to temperature fluctuations,
constant precipitation, and population adjustments. Although diseases such as Malaria and Zika are being researched on a daily basis, preventative
measures for diseases caused by climate change are being acted upon by many organizations. If a steady climate can arise in the near future, virulence
of many climate–related diseases will eventually decline. The dynamics of climate influence virulence due to unstable temperatures. The effects on the
quality of life creates vulnerability to those that surround these 'virulent' environments. It is referenced that extreme outbreaks occur after major
disturbances to the population (McMichael, 2015). These climatic events tend to trigger microbes, pathogens, and hosts to start infecting the nearest
populous whether it be animal or human. As McMichael mentions, microbes have the capacity that is stronger willed than any biotechnological
application and can reproduce a stable metabolism and maintain a relationship in the most severe disturbance (2015). McMichael, also states that

My Responsibility To America And Future Generations
During my sophomore year, after all the lectures given and the pressure placed on my shoulders to form a decision as to what I want to do with
myself when I graduate, I came to the conclusion that if I couldn't make a living off of art, that I could inspire future generations in a different way.

It's as if we're blindly following the wrong path, yet instead of taking off the blindfold and looking at a map, we continue to walk helplessly until

The Generation Of The Future
Millennials, the generation born between the years of 1980 and 2000, prefer instant gratification to delving deep into a resource, and they tend to be
more progressive in their ideologies compared to their elders. The average young adult these days prefers images and diagrams to a page filled with
scholarly words. We millennials thrive on flashing logos and visual stimuli. Present us with graphs and illustrations because we want the information to
hit us all at once and in a unique way, instead of having to read separate bits of information sentence by sentence on a plain white page. Keep what
you're trying to say under 140 characters or we will get bored. Don't send us flyers in the mail; follow us on Instagram because we are always on our
phones anyways. Colleges and universities are catching on to the trend that the upcoming generation is technologically driven and prefer their
information to be both terse and entertaining. They are also beginning to recognize the importance diversity plays in this generation's life. This
combination of artsy efficiency and liberal viewpoints is influencing the way universities choose to appeal to potential students.
The main thing universities use to try to grab the attention of website visitors is photographs. Even the Lawlor Group is taking advantage of this
generation's preference for visually stimulating retrieval of information; they are currently working on a project entitled the "Common Application."

it is important to give context to the events. This is something I am still not really sure that any of us really have exactly, but an effort to explain the

Our Future Generation Will Be The Laziest Generation
In my opinion, I believe our future generation will be the laziest generation they'll ever be. With new technology coming out here and there. People are
just way to lazy to do things so they relied on the technology way too much that our future will be like the movie Wall–e. Our future will be run by
robots and computer with a brainless human using them. We as the human are so lazy that we can't even drive ourselves and have to rely on

even tries to remember the contact on my phone. This is why phone engineer builds phone with a large amount of storage to store your contact. This
also relates to remembering the birth date we expect Facebook or Google calendar to remember for us. We tend to forget information because we just
think oh I could find the answer later on google or somewhere I store it on my computer/ device. But I think that just makes us a brainless human that
can't remember anything.
As a human being, I think we are bound to be lazy "the relax" mode. So this is why people invent robots and the computer to do things we're too lazy
to do for us. The inventor has to think,

Sustainable DEvelopment: The Key for Future Generations
Sustainable Development The key for future generations Sustainable Development Definition Although there are many definitions about what
sustainable development (SD) is, the most widely accepted one, is the one stated by the Brundtland Commission in their report 'Our Common Future'
(also known as the Brundtland Report). "Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability
of future generations to meet their own needs." (Brundtland Commission, 1987) Within this definition, SD exists out of two key concepts. First the
concept of 'needs', in particular the essential needs of the world's poorest people, to which should be given first priority and secondly, the... Show more

The American Education System Is Failing The Generations...
The American education system is failing the generations of the future. Society neglects the children born into impoverished areas, while mainly white
upper class children participate in superior educational activities. Low–income neighborhoods often produce schools with low scoring students.
Therefore the government transitions these schools into impersonal factories. The phrase diversity masquerades the reality of re–segregation of
schools. Many schools across the country are utilizing the phrase diversity, yet the statistics reveal that over ninety percent of the students are black or
Hispanic. Creating successful environments is extremely difficult and subsequently results in serious consequences for the American education system.
Early childhood education is crucial for success in the formalized education system. Many children born into lower income communities do not
obtain this advantage. According to Kozol, simply based off accident of birth a child will lead completely different educational lives (2005). For
example, a white toddler in an upper middle class neighborhood might attend a prestigious educational preliminary kindergarten. These respected early
education schools are often referred to as "baby ivies" (Kozol, 2005). The child participates in pre–numeracy skills along with pre–writing skills.
Conversely, a child of minority descent living in an underprivileged neighborhood may not initiate school until they are five years old. In the three

Generation 11: The Future Of Higher Education
"The economic turmoil of 2008–10 almost certainly signaled the passing of generation 10 and the probable inception of new trends as yet too inchoate
to identify" (Altbach, Gumport, & Berdahl, p. 64, 2011).
Generation 11, 2010–2030 is a generation that will suffer what generation 10 suffered with student loans. Generation 10 characterized and really
brought forth the student loan to help student be able to make ends meet to earn a college education. While Generation 11 will be facing a different
scenario of a mandate to higher education compared to a choice that previous generations had. Generation 11, will change the structure of how higher
education is supported, because of the mandate that has become higher education to be successful.
I suspect that Generation 11 will also be the generation that truly revolutionizes the science and technology industry, pushing boundaries of discovery
further than before as well as challenging the structure of what it means to be a research based institution. Asking the question, at what point is the
institution really there for, pushing the boundaries of research, science, and technology or to be a center of learning and educate students as traditional
universities have in the past.

Sustainable architecture is a specific kind of design which focuses on meeting the needs of these generations without compromising the needs of those
generations to come. Architects from around the world have become aware of the impact that society has on the environment, and have created
sustainable architecture in order to help preserve the environment, but at the same time, create comfortable spaces that are ideal for living and are
aesthetically pleasing. This innovative architecture has attracted many architects from all over the world, in order to implement these new structures

The summit at Rio de Janeiro was a wake up call for the metropolises. It was necessary to develop in such a way that it was not so invasive on the
environment. According to the Brundtland Report: "in developing countries few municipal governments possess the necessary amount of energy,
resources, and qualified staff to supply the rapidly increasing population with the services and utilities indispensable to a decent human life" (Gyorgy
Kunszt, Sustainable Architecture, 6). It is because of such conditions that illegal constructions have taken place, in order to satisfy the needs of the
rapidly increasing population. However, this does not mean that the constructions are adequate either for the environment or for a human being. After
analyzing important documents such as the Brundtland Report, the summit at Rio de Janeiro became crucial in the development of the idea of
sustainable architecture and development. The guidelines for these ideas were under the title of "Tasks for the 21st Century". The bases for what are
today's sustainable architectural standards are located in this document. The achievements at the Rio de Janeiro Conference were crucial in order to
begin changing the ideas that had been established and changing them into what would be considered the beginning of a new age in architecture.
Sustainable architecture is one of the small steps mankind is taking in order to

Dear Future Generation Of Bnei Yisrael Analysis
Dear future generation of Bnei Yisrael,12/20/16 You have made it this far. It's actually an amazing thing. Your nation, your religion has survived for
thousands of years. You have had many tough battles in your past, all the way from when you received the Torah– even before that, and in World War
2, along with many others. And to think that you're still the most amazing nation in my opinion – to know. I just have some words of advice for you. It
won't be much.
First off, when you read the Torah, you should know that you shouldn't really become a slave. Unless of course, you stole something and the court
made you a slave to pay off that debt – but that was back then, not now. I recently have learned about a major slavery era. When there

Montessori Schools Are The Best For Our Future Generations
Montessori Schools In today's world, we can find hundreds of schools all around us, but we can't figure out which one is best for our future
generations. One of the most outstanding schools are the Montessori schools. According to the American Montessori Society the Montessori schools
are based on the observation of the students, letting the students choose what they want to do, letting the students rely on themselves for almost
everything, and the teachers are there to only help and observe the students. The famous Maria Montessori said, "The greatest sign of success for a
teacher... is to be able to say, 'The children are now working as if I did not exist". This approach was found a hundred years ago by a physician named...

You'd probably find a child sitting on a table and having a snack, another child painting, another child learning about Africa, and so on. As for the
teachers in Montessori schools, they don't have anything to do with the child's work, each child is responsible for his or her own work the teacher
only guides and observes. For Maria Montessori once said, "Never help a child with a task at which he feels he can succeed" (Xu, 2017). Moving
on to another reason why Montessori schools are the best for our future generations is that Montessori schools teaches students to enjoy what they are
learning. Montessori schools are based on the role of the environment and freedom. This means that the children are not locked up in chairs and rules.
They can do whatever they want as long as it is in the classroom setting, they can wander around the classroom and pick whatever activity they feel
like doing. Being able to move freely in a classroom can help improve cognitive and social development, it even can help with mental development
depending on the movement in the classroom, where all of this is called "the instrument of the intelligence. There is nothing a child hates than to tell
him to sit in one place for a long period. Montessori schools are also based on teaching their students throughout activities. For example, if you visit a
Montessori classroom while teaching history, you won't find the students sitting in one place looking

Fetal Alcohol Syndrome And The Future Generation
FAS better known as Fetal Alcohol Syndrome can be prevented in any case. Women who openly drink alcohol or take drugs while knowing they
are pregnant should in fact be found as a criminal. A law was put into effect this previous July in Tennessee stating that in the case you took drugs or
drank while pregnant, you will be charged as a criminal and will be thrown into jail. Merrill Miller (2014) wrote the article What Are Mothers to Do?
How a New Tennessee Law CriminalizesPregnancy and Promotes Religion. This article further explains the law of criminalizing women who openly
use drugs including alcohol while pregnant. This law was put into effect to show how narcotics are becoming an issue and our future generation is
now paying for it. Tennessee decided to put up a law trying to protect tax payers and the future generation from facing issues with Fetal Alcohol
Syndrome. A case was showed where a 26 year old woman Mallory Loyola was the first charged with this law after traces of methamphetamine were
found in her urine shortly after having her child. She was arrested and thrown in jail not ever spending a day with her new born baby. Fetal Alcohol
syndrome is not the only thing women have to worry about while on drugs. If they let Mallory go home with her child while on meth, it could easily
affect the home life and still destroy the child 's life without it being in their system. Case studies also shown by (Miller, 2014) is even though a

I 'm Vincent DoVale: a permaculture enthusiast on the road to becoming a practicing professional. I earned my Permaculture Design Certificate in June
2015 through Oregon State University and am now a certified apprentice permaculture designer. For almost two years I have been independently
studying, informing others, and searching for the guidance on how to make a livelihood creating places where humans, plants, and animals can live
together harmoniously. That is when I found the Permaculture Skills Center in Sebastopol,CA.
Permaculture is a holistic approach to landscape design by focusing on the cultivation of eco– systems that contain bio–diversity, stability, and
resilience. Pioneered by Bill Mollison and David Holmgrem in the late seventies, Permacuture design aims to maximize the useful connections and
elements of a landscape by focusing on the relationships created among those elements. This perspective allows designers to ponder and implement
multi–functional, high yielding, self–fertile systems while minimizing effort and negative environmental impact.
I am running this campaign to raise funds for the tuition required to participate in the Ecological Landscaper Immersion program (ELI) offered by the
Permaculture Skills Center (PSC) in Sebastopol CA.This six month immersion program not only offers the knowledge and skills in order for me to to

Draft: Composition 2
People all around the world are beginning to recognize the importance of sustainability and how it is the key to future generations. Because the human
ecological footprint is reaching the point of limitation, it is only necessary that humans learn how to adapt and develop more efficient, sustainable
states. Today, many cities are faced with the issue of heavily contaminated and polluted domestic water due to the failure of proper treatment and
disposal. This event occurs when pollutants and particulates come into contact and engage with water resources. In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, residents
and local officials continue to debate over the practices of drilling, waste management, and coal mining within their district. These practices are the
lead cause to Pittsburgh 's poor water quality. As a result, residents of Pittsburgh and those who live along the border the city, are victims of dangerous
wastewater which have the potential to cause deadly diseases and illnesses like malaria and cholera. The problem of water pollution in Pittsburgh has
become an issue politically, because local officials debate over the treatment of toxic wastes; socially, because the people of Pittsburgh and those
living near its rivers are victimized; and economically, because the city relies on its industries to avoid further debt. There are many reasons to why
Pittsburgh fails to successfully treat its polluted water

We Don 't Think About Future Generations
"Because we don 't think about future generations, they will never forget us" (Tikkanen, 2011). These are the types of thoughts that have led
Americans and other nations to encourage their citizens to "Go Green" in an effort to aid the Earth in its recovery from modern human desecration.
"Going Green" means to pursue knowledge and practices that can lead to more environmentally friendly and ecologically responsible decisions and
lifestyles, which can help protect the environment and sustain its natural resources for current and future generations" (Going Green 2015). Today,
people have developed electric cars, solar powered electronics and panels, fabric grocery bags, and other items, all in an attempt to discontinue
using the harmful alternatives people have been using over the years that has led to the weak environmental state. The fact is that humans are a
force of nature and no matter how environmentally safe a product is presented as being, there will always be drawbacks and therefore "Going
Green" will always be just as harmful as it is helpful and will not be practical for most working Americans. The problem for most people is that
"Going Green" is not cost efficient, and most working families are unable to afford making the efforts. As of September 2015, there were over thirty
models of electric cars. The world 's top selling highway–capable electric car was the Nissan Leaf, released in December 2010 (Schaal, 2015). The fact

Almost every adult, parent or not, has thought about the extensive use of social media and the dependence on electrical devices by mankind at the
current time. Yet, the more important question is, how is this effecting youngsters, the future generations? This passage answers this question clearly
due to many reasons. Such as the high average diction, in other words, the word choice. It has some difficult words here and there, however, it is
mostly simple and understandable. The author was also able to guide them, the readers, through the passage smoothly. She picked great transitional
words and phrases to move from one point to the other with ease. Both reasons allow the average reader to get a good grip on the presented issue, and

"this generation of American kids (ages 3 to 18) is the tech–savviest in history: 27% of them use tablets, 43% use smartphones, and 52% use laptops."
This shows that is quite an important subject and it is worth acknowledging. Then he also mentions how the country is also contributing to this issue by
starting, "the most tech–saturated school year ever: Los Angeles County alone will spend $30 million on classroom iPads this year, outfitting
640,000 kids by late 2014." Yet only half of the parents in the USA agree that there should be such a prominence of technology in kids' lives,
according to findings by, "the research firm Grunwald Associates." As you can notice, we are only though the first couple of paragraphs, yet we have
passed through a number of statistics and studies. Then he shifts his concentration to the Parental Adage, "The less time spent with screens, the better."
He tries to explain why parents support such a rule and apply it to their kids' lives. He represents some side effects of extensive tech use, such as,
"watching too much TV can lead to obesity, violence and attention–deficit/hyperactivity

The Rights And Protection Of Our Future Generations
It is difficult to imagine a world where children have no voice in society and a government
that lacks laws endorsing the rights and protection of our future generations. And yet, there are
still millions of children around the world who suffer from human rights abuses and other forms
of protection. For example, "Children in Nepal, Uganda, and the Congo are used as soldiers on
the front lines of armed conflicts. Police in Bulgaria and Guatemala beat and torture homeless
street children; disabled children in Romanian orphanages are confined to cribs for life, eating
and defecating in their crib. Millions of children around the world, including in developed
countries such as England and the United States, are subject to poverty, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
and Europe. Children and women served as cheap labor in factories,
sweat shops, cotton fields, and could fulfill jobs that required small hands and bodies to
squeeze into small spaces. Although it was common for entire families to be employed, they
worked in harsh conditions and were deprived of education. Many people pushed for
mandated education and laws against children in the workforce, but to no avail due to the
economic dependency. Following WWI however, many people's eyes were opened by the
amount of dead, displaced, and orphaned children. As a result, the United Nations introduced
the first set of laws mandating basic care for children, in order to establish elementary
guidelines for their protection. The 1924 Geneva Declaration on Rights of the child stated that is
was society's responsibility to care for homeless and orphaned kids, supply an adequate diet,
provide access to education, and protect them from exploitation. Although this proved itself
difficult, especially in the mists of another world war, it laid the foundation for human rights
treaties to come. In an additional effort to protect a child's wellbeing, The United Nations
children's fund (UNICEF), as it is known today, was created in 1948 "to advocate for the
protection of children's rights, to help meet their basic needs, and to expand their
opportunities to

Abuse Effects Future Generations By James T. Johnson
Abuse Effects Future Generations This week's assignment addresses James T. Johnson, a 24 year–old construction worker who lives with his mother.
The assignment elaborates on Johnson's average week. His week consists of making it to work on time, do his work as instructed, and coming home at
the end of the day. Every now and then, Johnson will accompany some fellow coworkers who go out on an occasional Friday evening. However,
Johnson has a secret in addition to his average week. He burglarizes homes and garages in the neighboring communities. Johnson sells what he steals
through the internet or at pawn shops two counties over. The assignment details discusses that this past weekend, Johnson was arrested during a
burglary when he entered a home where the home owner was present. Unfortunately due to his actions, Johnson's mother had to mortgage her home in
order to afford bailing him out of jail. Following his mother bailing him out of jail, Johnson's mother started to berate him on the drive home. She
proceeded to state that he has ended up "just like his father, a criminal" and that the stress of his criminal actions will probably result in his mother
dying early. Upon hearing these statements from his mother, James angrily blurted out that it was her fault, that this was the only life he knew because
his father never taught him anything worthwhile. Johnson went on to say that his mother and father fought all the time and the main subject of their
fights was his

The World Of The Future Generation
Intergenerational equity, the concept which displays that actions of today 's generation will determine the world of the future generation. Therefore,
the generation today must be fair and wise in the decisions they make, for their actions will sculpt the future of others. The image above was used to
advertise an exhibition run by the ACT in 2008; climate change, human impact and creative challenge are going to kill our future generation. The then
Prime Minister of Norway, Gro Harlem, displayed that meeting the needs of the present, should not compromise the capability of the future generation
to meet their needs. However, through a change of actions within our global community we can save our future generation
Climate Change is major issue and it definitely contributes to intergenerational inequality, for it has been triggered by the actions of previous and
present generation 's actions. Through the continuous mining of fossil fuels such as coal, there has been a major increase in global warming. In 2014 the
U.S Energy Information Administration, released that in the Western Region, coal production increased by 12.6million short tons to 542.8 million
short tons, after a great decline in 2013 by 13.0 million short tons. In Australia, coal burning is the main source of electricity, but this polluting source
has been said by researchers at coolaustralia.org, that it has a little under 100 years left until the depletion of coal takes place. The action 's such as the

Technology Is The Key Factor For Future Generations

  • 1. Technology Is The Key Factor For Future Generations Hsun Tzu once said "Blue comes from the indigo plant but is bluer than the plant itself."(Encouraging Learning.) What he meant by that was every generation of people come from the one before and through education they will become more knowledgeable and educated than the last generation. Education is the key factor in differing generations, without it they would only be replicas of the generation beforehand. Without being taught education we would still be in "Caveman Times" creating fire with sticks instead of where we are today creating advanced technology that would help educate the minds of many for future generations to come. Education brings us knowledge, from knowledge we gain power, with power we can create justice and freedom; yet without it we would just remain the color of the indigo plant. Ask yourself how one can tell another a fact or news if they were not knowledgeable on the information. To be knowledgeable would to me to have been educated on a certain topic or event. In order to strengthen our knowledge we must first become educated on the material. The wheel, was created back in the cavemen era from stone, only to be recreated with rubber and steel and placed onto a car to create a vehicle. Without prior knowledge of the wheel automobile companies would have a hard time trying to figure out what would make the car move smoothly. Our forefathers, Thomas Jefferson signed by him and the other members of the Continental Congress, wrote out to tell the world ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. My Generation And The Future Of Our Generation Whether virtuous or erroneous, potential advancements made by my generation as a whole can be far larger in scale than the changes made by any of the preceding generations in all of human history. However, this isn't due to a disproportionate amount of prodigies or revolutionary thinkers. This is simply because of the advancements and efforts of our predecessors that we possess advantages and tools such as: a seemingly infinite pool of accessible knowledge, means to collaborate with the greatest minds the world has to offer, and increasing opportunities to create and revolutionize the world around us. One major contributing factor as to why my generation possesses the potential to cause major impacts on the future is the vast amount of information readily available to us. The pool of information isn't only found on the internet or in books, but also in the wisdom and experiences of the elder generations. The pool of information allows us to quickly solve problems and make more informed decisions. My generation's efforts can be directed towards the new problems that develop and to further the collective knowledge of humanity. This positive feedback loop promotes a future of increased efficiency at solving problems and making decisions. A time consuming part of the problem solving and decision making process is obtaining the information necessary. The more reliable information one has, the faster and easier the dilemmas are solved. Another advantage my generation has is the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. An Apology To Future Generations Analysis The rapper Kanye West stated "She don`t believe in shooting stars but she believes in shoes and cars." Malls, Outlets and online resources are the most common sources for shopping experiences for many people today. There are also the many food outlets and sales that encourage people to purchase items that may or may not be necessary. In her essay, "American Consumerism," Jamie Bentley reflecting on Simon Benlow's essay "An Apology to Future Generations" that expresses concern about consumers' negative impact on the environment reveals this generation's obsession with materialism, with the hope that people will learn to do more with less. The many options available to purchase items create a problem for individuals who desire to have what they... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The store release of items has changed everything due to the limit of items they have and give out because the next person that does not purchase it becomes angry. Black Friday, the holiday that many people love because of the sales presented at each store. Parents are starting to spoil their children because they do not want their child to feel as they are under privileged. So, referring back to the releases and sales, parents try their hardest to give their kids the money to purchase the items. Children become ungrateful and become angry at the world, when they do not get what they want because they were raised to always do... • 4. Juvenile Justice : Helping Or Hurting The Future... Juvenile Justice: Helping or Hurting the Future Generations of America Jennifer B. Moye CRJU 2400 IA: Survey of Juvenile Justice Valdosta State University Abstract In the second half of the twentieth century, the United States faced a problem of enormous impact on society negatively affecting families, the economy, and the future of American children: the vast, and ever–increasing number of youths being processed through the juvenile justice court system. In the years since the turn of the century, through implementation of legislation sponsored by activists, lawyers, community organizers, educators and other reformers focusing mainly upon curbing youth incarceration, and instead promoting community and social alternatives, the most recent trends reflect a stemming and actual decline of youths entering the United States juvenile justice system. Most recently, leading the way in the effort to decrease the number of children processed through the courts is the State of Georgia, recent legislation of which has drastically reduced the number of juveniles incarcerated by an amazing rate. This paper will analyze the importance of continuing this trend of a lower rate of juvenile arrests and incarceration by moving away from the practices in effect in the United States during the twentieth century that created the unsustainable increase in same; an exploration of whether or not these practices led the United States juvenile justice system away from its original policy mandate of ... • 5. The Importance Of The Future Generation Do we have a responsibility to future generations? I believe we do, that we have a responsibility to ensure the best possible future for the future generations of not only out direct descendants but the future generations of the human species. What that responsibility entails and why it exists is the purpose of this paper, to define the reasons why there is a responsibility, what they are, and how many people are we responsible for. The Native American concept of generations shown through the River of life book regards the importance of seven generation. This concept focuses on the wellbeing of the next seven generations, focusing on the preservation of culture and environment rather than short term and immediate gains. The Native Americans rely on culture, tradition and their history in order to make decisions, seeking to preserve the way of life and adjust more carefully. These ideas are also associated with being in tune with nature, which changes slowly and focuses on balance. The idea of life being interconnected is shown through the medicine wheel as described "The Medicine Wheel is a powerful metaphor for the totality of life. All aspects of creation and consciousness, inclusive of the mineral, plant, animal, human and spirit realms are contained within the center and four directions of the Medicine Wheel. They overlap and interweave to form the whole. It is in the center of the Medicine Wheel that we find the void, black hole, sacred zero, the chaos at the course ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Last but not least, my final point is the young generation must get an exposure to the financial knowledge. They must have knowledge about finances so that they will strive to be financially stable in order to help other people. The youngsters must also be exposed to modern technologies. • 8. And Values Of The Future Generations When thinking about what is necessary to pass on to the future generations, people of different ages and backgrounds consider what is critical to vary. During and after the interview I had with my mother discussing what advice and concepts we want the future generations to know, it was evident how we similarly and differently saw the world. When our answers were the same, it was typical because my mother has instilled what she thinks are important values in me. When our answers where different, however, it could occasionally be blamed on the generational gap between us or the difference in values based on when we were raised. It is evident that my mother and I want the future people of our society to have many of the same qualities we try to exhibit every day. The similarities between the two sets of answers was astonishing. In fact, about half of my mother and my answers were identical or had a different phrasing of an identical idea. For our concepts, we both though that it is important to be self–sufficient or self–reliant. This way of thinking is something both my grandmother and mother value, so it must have been passed onto me. The second concept that we both had in common was to find one's personal truth and listen to others points of view. These may seem different, but in my answer of listening to others points of view, the main outcome of that is to create one's own idea from others. This relates to my mother's answer of finding inner truth because both concepts ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. The Rights And Protection Of Our Future Generations Introduction It is difficult to imagine a world where children have no voice in society, and a government that lacks laws endorsing the rights and protection of our future generations. And yet, there are still millions of children around the world who suffer from human rights abuses and other forms of protection. For example, "Children in Nepal, Uganda, and the Congo are used as soldiers on the front lines of armed conflicts. Police in Bulgaria and Guatemala beat and torture homeless street children; disabled children in Romanian orphanages are confined to cribs for life, eating and defecating in their crib. Millions of children around the world, including in developed countries such as England and the United States, are subject to poverty, violence, rape, and cruelty "(Human Rights, 2008). Although it may seem like these issues are primarily outside of the U.S. what about issues that children in our culture struggle with even today? For example, what is easy to miss by someone who has never traveled outside of the U.S., why is it that children around the world die of hunger and thirst, are abandoned, and forced to fend for themselves? Why should governments feel obligated to care and protect children when they don't have any political rights and are not bringing immediate benefits to the current government or to its economy? An important issue revolves around prioritization of rights when resources are limited or when rights conflict (Khadka, 2013). The history of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Developing A Oriented Products For The Future Generation Living in the 21st century, everyone wishes to start a business that focuses on developing technically oriented products, or at least become part of such an organization, which is an acceptable fact of human life, as every person has a desire to be successful in their career domain. Some prefer to excel in the job world by making above par contributions, while some prefer to do something unique in a field where they have a certain level of expertise or have an idea, which they believe can solve an issue that is prevalent for the current generation. With such a goal in mind, they make something that can solve that challenge for not only the current generation, but also open up many avenues of improvement, for the future generation. Such... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... But indeed, as simple it may seem, it is a path that is full of challenges, but with very fruitful and promising outcomes, which acts as a motivating factor for an individual to put effort and time into his/her idea from beginning till end. With such an image in mind, the author is trying to convey the idea of why the current generation of individuals should indulge in a startup? Therefore, to build a foundation for such a persuasion, he uses some of the key points as the argument pillar and expanded upon them. Such key points would be; understanding the core concept of the startup, likelihood of why someone should pursue it and finally the challenges associated with such a venture, and how to solve such issues. What exactly is a word startup? A startup, is basically a stage that comes after the brainstorming process has occurred, where an individual or group of individuals try to come up with a solution for a complex problem, by improving an existing idea or coming up with a completely new one. More than that, it is a sense of being able to give something back to society that can either educate them better, or improve their lives. A startup is indeed a way to indicate someone's passion, and their will power to initiate a large scale project. Therefore, another way to look at startup, would be entrepreneurship, which ... • 11. Environmental Concerns And Its Effects On Our Future... Water America is known for many great things, however it is also the butt of many jokes regarding our "bigger is better" lifestyle and our need for more. Now though, I realize the seriousness of these jokes come from the truth of our wasteful ways of living and our over use of nonrenewable resources. Ironically then how now we have gone so far that we are literally eating up one of earth 's most valuable renewable resources: water. We Americans use more water than another country, including China whose population is more than double our own. If we do not decrease our dependency of this life sustaining resource than not only will we be destroying the world for our future generations, but we'll be destroying the world for all future... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Jennifer Wagner creator of a website called FreshWater Crisis in which she states that water is above all other resources, "With resources like electricity, you can produce more to meet demand of a growing population. Water does not function this way. The balance between the number of people and the amount of available freshwater is dangerous." But here we are as Americans using our water for shows and entertainment, building huge fountains rather saving waterfalls. A question that many of us don 't think about is where our water comes from and the first thing that we imagine is a kitchen sink or maybe a refrigerator but really it comes from rain and lakes that collect rain, but other than that there is no real fresh water on earth. Majority of Earths drinking water is unusable. While the Earth is mostly made of water only 1 percent of the total water is actually drinkable. That means that 99 percent of it is not usable or safe to digest, on top of this 70 percent of the freshwater on Earth is frozen in ice caps. You dont have to be good at math to learn then that we are only able to use 30 percent of the total fresh water on this planet. • 12. Geo Engineering And Its Effects On The Future Generations Currently, geo–engineering has not been developed or tested to ensure its efficacy and safety. I know that this uncertainty can be lessened through predictions or computer–generated simulation. Despite these efforts, there will still be a percentage of uncertainty when it comes to the risk that future generations may face. Hence, developing and utilizing geo–engineering may have adverse effects in the future generations, which becomes an ethical issue. Subjecting the future generation to the unknown effects of carbon removal or aerosol dispersal in the atmosphere may cause more harm for we cannot 100% predict the future. Others may argue that geo–engineering may lead to the ensured survival of the future generations. They may live... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... To put it simply, "Tragedy of the Commons" highlights the rational decisions of an individual to use the common resource without regard for the rest of the people who also utilize it until they have depleted the common resource as a whole. Also, this concept can be applied to the problem of climate change. A nation or society may continue to releasegreenhouse gas emissions without regard for the other nations in the world. Later on, the rest of the world, including that nation will suffer due to the rise in temperatures or sea levels and the other effects of climate change. Not only does this concept relate to the actions of a certain group that leads to the harmful effects of climate change, but geo–engineering can also be subjected to the "tragedy of the commons". For instance, a country deploys aerosols in the atmosphere or plants reflective crops to mitigate the effects of climate change. Still, the nation next to it may continue to carry out actions without regard to their carbon footprint, since this neighboring nation feels that its neighbor's geo–engineering technologies are already taking care of the problem. For that reason, the neighboring nation's lack of regard to the problem can be seen as unethical. Despite the fact that the problem is being addressed by one country, it does not give another nation the right to continue their contribution to the problem. Hence, their rational decision to ... Wind Energy for Future Generation Essay Everyday we sit and work with our laptop, watch TV, play with tablets, use the coffee machine, use the lights, etc. Electrical appliances and devices exist today in very large numbers and will keep on growing at a very fast rate. In order to meet demands for electrical power, fossil fuels have been the main force of producing electricity ever since the industrial age. As effective as fossil fuel is, it will not last forever due to the fast rate of consumption and increasing electricity demand. As supplies of fossil fuel dwindle, it has become clear that renewable energy will become the primary source of global energy. The picture in that book that I remembered the most is the one with a field of mirror shining directly towards a receiving end of the tower located at the center of the mirror field. That picture was dubbed as solar energy. Because that picture was the most interesting one that I came across, I went back to see what unit the picture was set in. I found out that picture was in the unit named Electrical Energy Sources. From then on I always wanted to see anything that is similar to what I saw from that textbook. All these years I did not spot anything that is remotely similar to that picture, however, when I did spot places where they generates electricity they all had smokestacks. I then learned that there are two types of energy sources: non–renewable energy, renewable energy. I realized that non–renewable was much more popular than renewable energy as for the only other renewable energy plants that I saw was the Hoover Dam from 2005, and the wind farms in Austria from 2011. I then thought why are renewable energy so rare compared to the non–renewable energy counterpart. That all changed when I entered high school. In my science class in high school, I learned something called total net energy cost. It means monitoring the how much the positives compare and offset over the negatives. In this case I learned the net energy cost of running different renewable energy and non–renewable energy. Non–renewable energy is very effective because it ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

A Critique of Arguments Against Taking Future Generations Into Account In doing the readings for this week, I noticed that there were few arguments in favor of ignoring concern for future generations. A large percentage of the authors seemed to feel that it is our moral responsibility to at least take the well being of future generations into account in our decision–making (Note: these authors also provided us with powerful arguments as to why we have a moral obligation to future generations). In trying to figure out why there were so few arguments on the other side of the issue, I realized that there simply aren't many ways to argue against our moral responsibility to future peoples. I would like to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 17. may be easy to write off the survival of the human species, I think it requires a much greater level of callousness to condemn future generations to years of struggle and illness. Perhaps its not too difficult to think about the extinction of humans and say well, maybe we deserved it. However, I find it excruciatingly difficult to approve of actions which could cause the suffering of thousands of generations. Already, the earth has seen dramatic increases in cancer rates and we have seen the horrendous consequences of nuclear fall–out. If we continue to ignore the impact which our actions have on the future, we will also see an increase in these problems. The question which I am left with is: Can we, in good conscience, condemn anyone (present or future peoples) to increases in these sorts of problems? The answer to this question is found in many of our readings for this week. One of the most powerful answers seems to lie in Des Jardins book. In discussing the writings of Richard Sylvan and Val Plumwood, Des Jardins writes: The present generation is sending extremely toxic wastes on a train ride into the future with the worlds future populations, perhaps as

Yunjing Wang mentions that the world is expecting warming that could be dangerous throughout the century (Wang et al., 2015). Not only effecting species of animals but also determining the presence of human existence. New diseases prevail on a daily basis specifically vector borne. These vector borne illnesses adapt to climate change due to temperature fluctuations, constant precipitation, and population adjustments. Although diseases such as Malaria and Zika are being researched on a daily basis, preventative measures for diseases caused by climate change are being acted upon by many organizations. If a steady climate can arise in the near future, virulence of many climate–related diseases will eventually decline. The dynamics of climate influence virulence due to unstable temperatures. The effects on the quality of life creates vulnerability to those that surround these 'virulent' environments. It is referenced that extreme outbreaks occur after major disturbances to the population (McMichael, 2015). These climatic events tend to trigger microbes, pathogens, and hosts to start infecting the nearest populous whether it be animal or human. As McMichael mentions, microbes have the capacity that is stronger willed than any biotechnological application and can reproduce a stable metabolism and maintain a relationship in the most severe disturbance (2015). I'm a junior now, and I may not have it all figured out, but at least I have an idea as to what I desire to accomplish in my lifetime. I became an American when I entered this world 16 years ago, and since then my duty to my country, is the same in which I owe to future generations, to past generations, and to my own. My responsibility to America is to inspire. When president Jimmy Carter delivered his speech, The Crisis of Confidence, he said, "the erosion of our confidence in the future is threatening to destroy the social and the political fabric of America," without the confidence to push us forward, we're always going to continue sinking lower, "confidence has defined our course and has served as a link between generations. With new technology coming out here and there. People are just way to lazy to do things so they relied on the technology way too much that our future will be like the movie Wall–e. Our future will be run by robots and computer with a brainless human using them. We as the human are so lazy that we can't even drive ourselves and have to rely on self–driving cars to take us places. The human race will go extinct due to technology error created by human. Technology has weakened our mind from memorization. More than a third of the Americans can't even remember others phone number beside their own. No one cares about remembering the phone number of friends and family. We use our phone to remember all the contact for us. Even I barely even tries to remember the contact on my phone. This is why phone engineer builds phone with a large amount of storage to store your contact. This also relates to remembering the birth date we expect Facebook or Google calendar to remember for us. We tend to forget information because we just think oh I could find the answer later on google or somewhere I store it on my computer/ device. But I think that just makes us a brainless human that can't remember anything. As a human being, I think we are bound to be lazy "the relax" mode. Society neglects the children born into impoverished areas, while mainly white upper class children participate in superior educational activities. Low–income neighborhoods often produce schools with low scoring students. Therefore the government transitions these schools into impersonal factories. The phrase diversity masquerades the reality of re–segregation of schools. Many schools across the country are utilizing the phrase diversity, yet the statistics reveal that over ninety percent of the students are black or Hispanic. Creating successful environments is extremely difficult and subsequently results in serious consequences for the American education system. Early childhood education is crucial for success in the formalized education system. Many children born into lower income communities do not obtain this advantage. According to Kozol, simply based off accident of birth a child will lead completely different educational lives (2005). For Maria Montessori once said, "Never help a child with a task at which he feels he can succeed" (Xu, 2017). Because the human ecological footprint is reaching the point of limitation, it is only necessary that humans learn how to adapt and develop more efficient, sustainable states.
