Introduction
Dear applicants,
The application for AIESEC Romania Member Committee 14-15 is divided into seven parts:
1. Executive Summary: A one (1) page summary of your entire application
2. Your Bio: Create your own biography and share it with us. You have just one limitation, one (1) page!
3. Your CV: Give us the all important information we need to know about you, your AIESEC career, other jobs you have had,
your contact details, etc. You can use a maximum of one (1) page to create your CV.
4. Endorsements:
a) For AIESEC Romania members:
(i) An endorsement from your home LC
(ii) An endorsement from TWO (2) other LCs in AIESEC Romania (by LCP current or elect)
(iii) An endorsement from someone who led you.
(iv) An endorsement from someone you lead.
(v) An endorsement from someone in you team.
b) For International applicants:
(i) An endorsement from your home LC
(ii) An endorsement from TWO (2) other LCs in AIESEC Romania (by LCP current or elect)
(iii) An endorsement from someone who led you.
(iv) An endorsement from someone you lead.
(v) An endorsement from someone in you team.
c) Certain endorsements are required for specific roles. Please go through the ‘Selection Process’ in the candidate’s
booklet for the same.
5. General Questionnaire: These questions must be answered by all candidates and should not take more than six (6) pages.
6. Specific Questionnaire: These questions must be answered by the preferred position you would like to run for.
In the case you are running for more than one position, you will need to answer all questions related to each position.
The answers for the questions (per position) should not take more than five (5) pages.
7. Blank Paper Challenge: You have 1 page and all your creativity to propose what is the biggest question that lies in
front of AIESEC Romania today and give an answer to it. You have the license to change the system, to challenge any
paradigms and unleash the potential of the organization.
Additional Notes for the Application:
You can create your own design (graphic style and color usage). Make sure you create separate files for Executive Summary,
your CV, Biography, your answers and your year plan. We will be expecting 5 PDF files (Executive Summary, Bio,
CV, answers to the questions of the general and specific questionnaire, Blank Paper Challenge) + 1 pdf format for
each endorsement letter.
If you are applying for more than one position, make sure you attach a different file with the answers to the specific
questionnaire for the additional position (second option) that you will be running for. Please specify in the email you
will send to Daniel Plesa and Eduard Till, MCVP TD and MCP your preference of the applications you have submitted.

1. What is your motivation to apply in the MC of AIESEC Romania 2014 – 2015?
2. Why do you exist? What do you value the most in life?
3. What kind of leadership does the World & Romania need from AIESEC? Why does AIESEC in Romania exist?
4. Based on an analysis (SWOT/ PESTEL), how can AIESEC in Romania be more relevant?
5. How do you understand AIESEC in the context of and 2015?
Evaluate our key achievements from 2010 and key things that should happen until 2015.
What will AIESEC in Romania remember about 2014 – 2015 term?
Describe which will be the key milestones you commit to for the next term.

1. What drives you to stand for MCP of AIESEC in Romania for 2014 – 2015?
How is this connected with your long term development plan?
2. How will you, as MCP 2014 – 2015 of AIESEC in Romania, work together with the LCPs/ MC/BOA Corporate to fulfill its
full potential of the organization?
3. Based on the values that you want to harvest in the organization, what is the culture that you forecast for
generation 13/14, giving concrete actions, in order to push the country forward?
4. Looking at the 3 years plan, what are the major checkpoints that will guide you as an MCP in leading the change
you want to see in the country?
5. Based on the current state of AIESEC in Ireland and the way of working implemented in the term 2013-2014,
propose 3 main directions of working with Ireland as official extension which you think will bring performance and
benefits for both entities?
MCVP oGIP (OPENED for internationals)
1. Analyze the performance on Outgoing GIP in AIESEC Romania in the last 3 years and outline key success factors
for each term.
2. What are the two best EPs markets (Programs) to focus on next year and with what countries should we have
cooperation’s to send these EPs? Explain reasons and facts supporting your answer.
3. What should be the evolution of the main sub programs on Outgoing GIP? What are the concrete steps you are going to
take in order to reach the performance stated?
4. Present your strategy on how to decrease the delivery time (max. 75 days) and how to increase the realization rate
(min. 40%) on Outgoing GIP in AIESEC Romania for the following term.
5. Taking into consideration the underperformance on Global Marketing and Global Management Programs, please create
an initiative on how to ensure growth in quality and quantity on Global Marketing and Management realizations in order to
solve this issue.
MCVP iGIP (OPENED for internationals)
1. How do you see the overall evolution of iGIP from the term 12-13 to 13-14?
Taking into consideration the position you are applying for, what are the key strategies you want to implement in order
to move AIESEC Romania further, with Corporate Development?
2. What are the behaviors and values that you want to drive within the Corporate Development area?
Please present concrete actions to support your answer.
3. What is the historic evolution in the last 4 years of each iGIP sub-product?
How do you see the evolution of each sub program?
What are the concrete steps you are going to take in order to reach the performance stated?
4. Present the main bottlenecks that kept AIESEC Romania from achieving the objectives planned on GIP incoming.
What will be the key strategies for each of them, that you are going to implement in order to achieve the objectives planned?
5. Present your strategic initiatives for the next year with timeline, concrete activities and strategies to support their
development. Give a brief description of each strategic initiative presented.
MCVP oGCDP (OPENED for internationals)
1. What changes do you want to bring on the oGCDP area in the term 14-15?
Why do you think they are necessary and how will they contribute to the evolution of the program?
2. How will you decrease the delivery time and increase conversion rate on the oGCDP program?
Present you strategy with clear action steps.
3. Please present a strategy that will enable AIESEC Romania to become a top supplier of EPs during the exchange
winter peak. (Be specific in time and objectives).
4. Analyze the performance on Outgoing GCDP in the last 3 years in AIESEC Romania.
How will you ensure a constant growth in oGCDP on the following term?
5. Present the main bottlenecks of the oGCDP program for AIESEC Romania.
What will be the key strategies for each of them, that you are going to implement in order to increase the numebers
on this program?
MCVP iGCDP (OPENED for internationals)
1. What are your top three priorities for the term to ensure a sustainable growth of iGCDP nationally?
2. How would you use the information from each category of NPS respondents (detractors, passives, promoters), in order to
create specific strategies that will increase the quality of the experiences that we deliver on iGCDP?
3. Present the GCDPi reality of each LC of AIESEC Romania for the year 2013 and add your suggestions for process efficiency, quality, structure or sustainability of the program for each of them.
4. Please analyze other 3 countries growing in GCDPi. Which of these GCPs could be implemented in our national reality, in
order to ensure growth?
5. Propose a new national initiative/project that brings innovation for the iGCDP area, creatively approaching an issue that
was not tackled before in AIESEC Romania. What are the stakeholders involved, which is the timeline of this initiative and
how many realizations do you plan to achieve out of it?
MCVP TD (OPENED for internationals)
1. What should be the growth strategies of TMP and TLP programs in order to achieve 2015 midterm ambition? Choose and
explain 3 key focuses for your term as MCVP Talent Development. Please be specific on why is that a priority, how is it going
to happen and what are the expected outcomes of the actions you set.
2. How do we increase the number of members going on GIP and GCDP? How to ensure the proper need of HR in LCs if
members go on GIP and GCDP?
3. Evaluate the National Education Cycle in AIESEC Romania. What improvements will you recommend to ensure growth of
ELD Programs?
4. How will you ensure leadership pipeline and succession management in whole AIESEC Romania? What kind of initiatives
and tools will you undertake in order to ensure proper leadership development within the whole country?
5. All LCs have their own way of TM functioning and process implementation. How would you bring about standardization in
TM processes nationally?
MCVP OD (OPENED for internationals)
1. Please analyze LC Consultancy in the 1314 term: role, way of working, benefits brought, bottlenecks and problems.
2. How do you see LC Consultancy in 1415? Please refer to: role, way of allocating consultants, way of working, benefits to
be brought and a rough timeline of these activities.

3. Please present briefly the current status of all SUs & LC Expansions throughout the country. Having this in mind, what is
your strategy for SU & Expansion Development in 1415? How will you ensure that SUs evolve into separate entities which
bring significant added value?
4. Please analyze Tracking & Analysis (Clustering Map, SONA, Cucu’ etc) in AIESEC Romania in 1314. Having this in mind,
what is your approach for 1415 and why?
5. How would you structure the Planning Process in AIESEC Romania so as to ensure a strong synergy between Local –
National Planning Cycles, Local – National Plan? Please include a rough timeline with major activities.
MCVP FIN (NOT opened for internationals)
1. Critically evaluate the financial situation of the MC of AIESEC Romania for this term and last term and propose a strategy
in order to continue building the financial sustainability of the organization.
2. Mention what are the 3 priorities you consider should be a focus for the next term on the finance aria (please refer here at
the 3 priorities, KPIs for each and some activities you will develop for each priority).
3. Provide the analysis of financial position and performance of the LCs and evaluate the role of financial area in operations
management in Romanian LCs, identifying both strengths and weaknesses. What changes would you recommend LCs to be
made in 2013 in terms of costs, revenues, pricing and investments – in operations? Feel free to recommend other changes
you find needed.
4. What are the legal aspects that you will have focus on during your term (describe concrete actions and timeline).
5. Which will be the steps and the way of working with the LCs that you will propose in order to implement together the
investments and reserves strategy?
MCVP COMM (OPENED for internationals)
1. Present the current status of the communication area in AIESEC Romania, taking into consideration the LC status (for
each LC in particular and a final overall conclusion)
2. Please describe how AIESEC Romania should be present in the external market through PR activities.(your own PR
strategy).
3. Please explain your strategy for the growth of each of AIESEC Romania’s products, taking into consideration the continuity of the visual elements and activities that were built this year.
4. What is your strategy for online growth for the next year?
5. Please state how does the communication area contribute for the incoming areas stating the percent of involvement that
need to be present there vs. the outgoing areas.
MCVP ER (NOT opened for internationals)
1. Analyze strategies and results of External Relations area at MC level for the last 3 terms. What were the main successes
and learnings that you will take for your term?
2. What are the key priorities, strategies and products for ER area of AIESEC in Romania for the next term? What results
should they bring?
3. What are the main bottlenecks of Employer Branding products? How would you develop this group of products during
your term?
4. What would be the profile of companies that you would see as partners of AIESEC Romania? Why? What would be your
key strategies in order to ensure a Customer Service culture at MC level?
5. What way of working will you see with the other 2 BD Managers in order to achieve your objectives? Take in consideration
the market segmentation and products.
BD Manager (NOT opened for internationals)
1. Analyze strategies and results of External Relations area at MC level for the last 3 terms. What were the main successes
and learnings that you will take for your term?
2. Please identify the necessary selling skills for the term 2014-2015 of a Business Development Manager in AIESEC Romania and explain why they are needed. In addition, please evaluate and compare your characteristics as a seller and please
state your results that you achieved until now on sales.
3. What are the main bottlenecks of Employer Branding products? How would you develop this group of products during
your term?
4. What would be the profile of companies that you would see as partners of AIESEC Romania? Why? What would be your
key strategies in order to ensure a Customer Service culture at MC level?
5. What would be 3 main partners that will bring in the NGP? What would you sell to them, what would be their profile?
Choose 1 of them and write the sales pitch for convincing them.
MCVP AD (OPENED for internationals)
1. Make the SWOT of the Alumni Development Area covering both the national and the local level.
2. Write down the main pillars and their steps of implementation of your Alumni Development Strategy for the year 2014 –
2015 taking into consideration the strategy implemented during ‘13-‘14 term.
3. Write down the description and the plan of implementation for minimum 2 actual products that the Alumni Development
area delivers in order to generate money (other than internships) and come up with a new one that you will sell during your
term.
4. Write down the main strategies that you want to improve during your term in order to increase the number of GIP incoming
and GIP outgoing both at national and local level.
5. How do you envision AIESEC Romania's Alumni Network in the next 3 years and what will your contribution be towards it?

  • 3. Introduction Dear applicants, The application for AIESEC Romania Member Committee 14-15 is divided into seven parts: 1. Executive Summary: A one (1) page summary of your entire application 2. Your Bio: Create your own biography and share it with us. You have just one limitation, one (1) page! 3. Your CV: Give us the all important information we need to know about you, your AIESEC career, other jobs you have had, your contact details, etc. You can use a maximum of one (1) page to create your CV. 4. Endorsements: a) For AIESEC Romania members: (i) An endorsement from your home LC (ii) An endorsement from TWO (2) other LCs in AIESEC Romania (by LCP current or elect) (iii) An endorsement from someone who led you. (iv) An endorsement from someone you lead. (v) An endorsement from someone in you team. b) For International applicants: (i) An endorsement from your home LC (ii) An endorsement from TWO (2) other LCs in AIESEC Romania (by LCP current or elect) (iii) An endorsement from someone who led you. (iv) An endorsement from someone you lead. (v) An endorsement from someone in you team.
  • 4. c) Certain endorsements are required for specific roles. Please go through the ‘Selection Process’ in the candidate’s booklet for the same. 5. General Questionnaire: These questions must be answered by all candidates and should not take more than six (6) pages. 6. Specific Questionnaire: These questions must be answered by the preferred position you would like to run for. In the case you are running for more than one position, you will need to answer all questions related to each position. The answers for the questions (per position) should not take more than five (5) pages. 7. Blank Paper Challenge: You have 1 page and all your creativity to propose what is the biggest question that lies in front of AIESEC Romania today and give an answer to it. You have the license to change the system, to challenge any paradigms and unleash the potential of the organization. Additional Notes for the Application: You can create your own design (graphic style and color usage). Make sure you create separate files for Executive Summary, your CV, Biography, your answers and your year plan. We will be expecting 5 PDF files (Executive Summary, Bio, CV, answers to the questions of the general and specific questionnaire, Blank Paper Challenge) + 1 pdf format for each endorsement letter. If you are applying for more than one position, make sure you attach a different file with the answers to the specific questionnaire for the additional position (second option) that you will be running for. What do you value the most in life? 3. What kind of leadership does the World & Romania need from AIESEC? Why does AIESEC in Romania exist? 4. Based on an analysis (SWOT/ PESTEL), how can AIESEC in Romania be more relevant? 5. How do you understand AIESEC in the context of and 2015? Evaluate our key achievements from 2010 and key things that should happen until 2015. What will AIESEC in Romania remember about 2014 – 2015 term? Describe which will be the key milestones you commit to for the next term.
  • 6. Specific Questionnaire (maximum 5 pages, font size minimum 10, font type Arial) MCP (OPENED for internationals) 1. What drives you to stand for MCP of AIESEC in Romania for 2014 – 2015? How is this connected with your long term development plan? 2. How will you, as MCP 2014 – 2015 of AIESEC in Romania, work together with the LCPs/ MC/BOA Corporate to fulfill its full potential of the organization? 3. Based on the values that you want to harvest in the organization, what is the culture that you forecast for generation 13/14, giving concrete actions, in order to push the country forward? 4. Looking at the 3 years plan, what are the major checkpoints that will guide you as an MCP in leading the change you want to see in the country? 5. Based on the current state of AIESEC in Ireland and the way of working implemented in the term 2013-2014, propose 3 main directions of working with Ireland as official extension which you think will bring performance and benefits for both entities? MCVP oGIP (OPENED for internationals) 1. Analyze the performance on Outgoing GIP in AIESEC Romania in the last 3 years and outline key success factors for each term. 2. What are the two best EPs markets (Programs) to focus on next year and with what countries should we have cooperation’s to send these EPs? Explain reasons and facts supporting your answer. 3. What should be the evolution of the main sub programs on Outgoing GIP? What are the concrete steps you are going to take in order to reach the performance stated? 4. Present your strategy on how to decrease the delivery time (max. 75 days) and how to increase the realization rate (min. 40%) on Outgoing GIP in AIESEC Romania for the following term.

Taking into consideration the underperformance on Global Marketing and Global Management Programs, please create an initiative on how to ensure growth in quality and quantity on Global Marketing and Management realizations in order to solve this issue. MCVP iGIP (OPENED for internationals) 1. How do you see the overall evolution of iGIP from the term 12-13 to 13-14? Taking into consideration the position you are applying for, what are the key strategies you want to implement in order to move AIESEC Romania further, with Corporate Development? 2. What are the behaviors and values that you want to drive within the Corporate Development area? Please present concrete actions to support your answer. 3. What is the historic evolution in the last 4 years of each iGIP sub-product? How do you see the evolution of each sub program? What are the concrete steps you are going to take in order to reach the performance stated? 4. Present the main bottlenecks that kept AIESEC Romania from achieving the objectives planned on GIP incoming. What will be the key strategies for each of them, that you are going to implement in order to achieve the objectives planned? 5. Present your strategic initiatives for the next year with timeline, concrete activities and strategies to support their development. Give a brief description of each strategic initiative presented. MCVP oGCDP (OPENED for internationals) 1. What changes do you want to bring on the oGCDP area in the term 14-15? Why do you think they are necessary and how will they contribute to the evolution of the program? 2. How will you decrease the delivery time and increase conversion rate on the oGCDP program? Present you strategy with clear action steps. 3. Please present a strategy that will enable AIESEC Romania to become a top supplier of EPs during the exchange winter peak. (Be specific in time and objectives). 4. Analyze the performance on Outgoing GCDP in the last 3 years in AIESEC Romania. How will you ensure a constant growth in oGCDP on the following term? 5. Present the main bottlenecks of the oGCDP program for AIESEC Romania. What will be the key strategies for each of them, that you are going to implement in order to increase the numebers on this program?
  • 8. MCVP iGCDP (OPENED for internationals) 1. What are your top three priorities for the term to ensure a sustainable growth of iGCDP nationally? 2. How would you use the information from each category of NPS respondents (detractors, passives, promoters), in order to create specific strategies that will increase the quality of the experiences that we deliver on iGCDP? 3. Present the GCDPi reality of each LC of AIESEC Romania for the year 2013 and add your suggestions for process efficiency, quality, structure or sustainability of the program for each of them. 4. Please analyze other 3 countries growing in GCDPi. Which of these GCPs could be implemented in our national reality, in order to ensure growth? 5. Propose a new national initiative/project that brings innovation for the iGCDP area, creatively approaching an issue that was not tackled before in AIESEC Romania. What are the stakeholders involved, which is the timeline of this initiative and how many realizations do you plan to achieve out of it? MCVP TD (OPENED for internationals) 1. What should be the growth strategies of TMP and TLP programs in order to achieve 2015 midterm ambition? Choose and explain 3 key focuses for your term as MCVP Talent Development. Please be specific on why is that a priority, how is it going to happen and what are the expected outcomes of the actions you set. 2. How do we increase the number of members going on GIP and GCDP? How to ensure the proper need of HR in LCs if members go on GIP and GCDP? 3. Evaluate the National Education Cycle in AIESEC Romania. What improvements will you recommend to ensure growth of ELD Programs? 4. How will you ensure leadership pipeline and succession management in whole AIESEC Romania? What kind of initiatives and tools will you undertake in order to ensure proper leadership development within the whole country? 5. All LCs have their own way of TM functioning and process implementation. How would you bring about standardization in TM processes nationally? MCVP OD (OPENED for internationals) 1. Please analyze LC Consultancy in the 1314 term: role, way of working, benefits brought, bottlenecks and problems. 2. How do you see LC Consultancy in 1415? Please refer to: role, way of allocating consultants, way of working, benefits to be brought and a rough timeline of these activities. -
  • 9. 3. Please present briefly the current status of all SUs & LC Expansions throughout the country. Having this in mind, what is your strategy for SU & Expansion Development in 1415? How will you ensure that SUs evolve into separate entities which bring significant added value? 4. Please analyze Tracking & Analysis (Clustering Map, SONA, Cucu’ etc) in AIESEC Romania in 1314. Having this in mind, what is your approach for 1415 and why? 5. How would you structure the Planning Process in AIESEC Romania so as to ensure a strong synergy between Local – National Planning Cycles, Local – National Plan? Please include a rough timeline with major activities. MCVP FIN (NOT opened for internationals) 1. Critically evaluate the financial situation of the MC of AIESEC Romania for this term and last term and propose a strategy in order to continue building the financial sustainability of the organization. 2. Mention what are the 3 priorities you consider should be a focus for the next term on the finance aria (please refer here at the 3 priorities, KPIs for each and some activities you will develop for each priority). 3. Provide the analysis of financial position and performance of the LCs and evaluate the role of financial area in operations management in Romanian LCs, identifying both strengths and weaknesses. What changes would you recommend LCs to be made in 2013 in terms of costs, revenues, pricing and investments – in operations? Feel free to recommend other changes you find needed. 4. What are the legal aspects that you will have focus on during your term (describe concrete actions and timeline). 5. Which will be the steps and the way of working with the LCs that you will propose in order to implement together the investments and reserves strategy? MCVP COMM (OPENED for internationals) 1. Present the current status of the communication area in AIESEC Romania, taking into consideration the LC status (for each LC in particular and a final overall conclusion) 2. Please describe how AIESEC Romania should be present in the external market through PR activities.(your own PR strategy). 3. Please explain your strategy for the growth of each of AIESEC Romania’s products, taking into consideration the continuity of the visual elements and activities that were built this year. 4. What is your strategy for online growth for the next year?
  • 10. 5. Please state how does the communication area contribute for the incoming areas stating the percent of involvement that need to be present there vs. the outgoing areas. MCVP ER (NOT opened for internationals) 1. Analyze strategies and results of External Relations area at MC level for the last 3 terms. What were the main successes and learnings that you will take for your term? 2. What are the key priorities, strategies and products for ER area of AIESEC in Romania for the next term? What results should they bring? 3. What are the main bottlenecks of Employer Branding products? How would you develop this group of products during your term? 4. What would be the profile of companies that you would see as partners of AIESEC Romania? Why? What would be your key strategies in order to ensure a Customer Service culture at MC level? 5. What way of working will you see with the other 2 BD Managers in order to achieve your objectives? Take in consideration the market segmentation and products. BD Manager (NOT opened for internationals) 1. Analyze strategies and results of External Relations area at MC level for the last 3 terms. What were the main successes and learnings that you will take for your term? 2. Please identify the necessary selling skills for the term 2014-2015 of a Business Development Manager in AIESEC Romania and explain why they are needed. In addition, please evaluate and compare your characteristics as a seller and please state your results that you achieved until now on sales. 3. What are the main bottlenecks of Employer Branding products? How would you develop this group of products during your term? 4. What would be the profile of companies that you would see as partners of AIESEC Romania? Why? What would be your key strategies in order to ensure a Customer Service culture at MC level? 5. What would be 3 main partners that will bring in the NGP? What would you sell to them, what would be their profile? Choose 1 of them and write the sales pitch for convincing them.
  • 11. MCVP AD (OPENED for internationals) 1. Make the SWOT of the Alumni Development Area covering both the national and the local level. 2. Write down the main pillars and their steps of implementation of your Alumni Development Strategy for the year 2014 – 2015 taking into consideration the strategy implemented during ‘13-‘14 term. 3. Write down the description and the plan of implementation for minimum 2 actual products that the Alumni Development area delivers in order to generate money (other than internships) and come up with a new one that you will sell during your term. 4. Write down the main strategies that you want to improve during your term in order to increase the number of GIP incoming and GIP outgoing both at national and local level. 5. How do you envision AIESEC Romania's Alumni Network in the next 3 years and what will your contribution be towards it?
