Congratulations for taking the first step and taking the opportunity to apply for Local
Committee Vice President of AIESEC Abuja for the term 17/18.
When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to
change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in
saying that we are not yet ready. The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back. A week
is more than enough time for us to decide whether or not to accept our destiny........ For the
time will pass anyway; we might just as well put passing time to best possible use..........

• APPLICATION TIMELINE
• Application Opening–13th December, 2016 Application Submission Deadline–All
dully completed applications must be submitted latest by Sunday 25th, December
2016 at 23:59:59 GMT+1. Late applications will not be considered for any reason
whatsoever, you are advised to submit at least a day before the deadline so that
your application can be reviewed, and in case of any corrections you can very
easily make them and resubmit before the deadline. After the deadline any
incomplete application will be rejected and the applicant removed from the
process.
• Interviews, Review and Selections –The review process will consist of several written
tests, an oral interview with members of the electoral review board, manifesto
presentation to the general plenary, question and answer session with the plenary
and then final voting. This entire process might span about 3 days and a date for it
will be fixed at the close of the application.
• All applications can be designed in any format but converted to PDF, put in a
zipped folder and submitted (In all we will be expecting 4 PDF documents which
are Manifesto and Year plan, Curriculum Vitae, Questionnaire, 1 endorsement
letters).

within 24hours accepting or rejecting your application. Please contact us if this
time elapses and you are yet to get a confirmation.
APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
You must be a full member of AIESEC in Abuja.
The official term for 17.18 will start on the 1st February, 2017
and will end January 31st 2016.
Transition for the EB will start in January 2017 until February,
2017.
Applicants must attend the National Congress scheduled to
hold in Enugu from 11-16 January 2017.
APPLICATION DETAILS
In this application, Please feel free to use your creativity
however you want in designing your application form.
This process has been designed to help you standout and
express yourself, making sure it reflects you and your
personality, I urge you to be very realistic in your answers as
every detail is very important in decision of the local plenary.
This application is divided into 4 parts;
Manifesto and Year Plan: A document detailing your vision for
AIESEC Abuja in the 16.17 term, and your plan of action to
achieve that vision. This plan should contain details of actions
steps; focus areas, strategic initiatives in those focus areas and
specific numerical targets.
Curriculum vitae: List relevant personal, professional and
AIESEC experience that you need us to be aware of.
EB Questionnaire: This is divided into several parts, candidates
are to answer all questions clearly and convincingly, making
no alterations to the questions or the order of the questions, all
questions related to the position you are applying for should
be answered.
Endorsement Letter: 1 endorsement from someone that led
you in AIESEC Abuja. NB: Endorsements must be dully signed
by endorsing parties.

• 1. With the aid of a table, describe Your experience in
AIESEC Abuja, stating roles held, measurable

1. Create a strategy for growing
followership across AIESEC in Abuja
social media platforms(twitter,
Instagram and the blog)
2. Display innovation by carrying out a
unified media campaign with graphic
designs that promotes : the LC, OGV
and OGT, With aim of getting a
minimum of 100likes on the Facebook
page, 20followers and 15 sign ups on
the opportunity portal(submit
evidence).
3. Design a promotional material to be
used for membership recruitment for
AIESEC in Abuja.
4. The LC has a minimum of 10 sign ups on
the opportunity portal monthly. Create a
strategic plan to increase the sign up
from 10 to 50 monthly. Please make it
realistic.
5. What do understand by AIESEC 2020
and its statements and what it means for
AIESEC in Abuja?

4. What should be the growth
strategies of OGX program for the next
term? Please keep in mind program
bottlenecks as well as external
(market) and internal (global) trends.

explore to convert the sign ups to Eps.

management that demonstrate what you value and
add, as an individual, to an organization’s culture and

future evolution of sales in AIESEC

1. Please outline a plan specifying how to increase results by
taking advantage of regional, global realization peaks per
pool. You can choose the best way/format to outline your
ideas.

strategy to push each iGT Sub products that AIESEC Abuja

When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not yet ready. The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back. A week is more than enough time for us to decide whether or not to accept our destiny........   • 3. • APPLICATION TIMELINE • Application Opening–13th December, 2016 Application Submission Deadline–All dully completed applications must be submitted latest by Sunday 25th, December 2016 at 23:59:59 GMT+1. Late applications will not be considered for any reason whatsoever, you are advised to submit at least a day before the deadline so that your application can be reviewed, and in case of any corrections you can very easily make them and resubmit before the deadline. After the deadline any incomplete application will be rejected and the applicant removed from the process. • Interviews, Review and Selections –The review process will consist of several written tests, an oral interview with members of the electoral review board, manifesto presentation to the general plenary, question and answer session with the plenary and then final voting. This entire process might span about 3 days and a date for it will be fixed at the close of the application. • All applications can be designed in any format but converted to PDF, put in a zipped folder and submitted (In all we will be expecting 4 PDF documents which are Manifesto and Year plan, Curriculum Vitae, Questionnaire, 1 endorsement letters). • For any clarifications please communicate strictly via email to anifowose.tunde@aiesec.net ,aju.joshua@aiesec.net, richardson.ojeka@aiesec.ne • Name your final application package (.Zip): First Name_Surname_EB17.18_Abuja_Application (Example; Tunde_Anifowose_EB17.18_Abuja_Application). • All duly completed applications should be submitted to anifowose.tunde@aiesec.net, aju.joshua@aiesec.net and richardson.ojeka@aiesec.net upon submission you will get a confirmatory mail within 24hours accepting or rejecting your application. Please contact us if this time elapses and you are yet to get a confirmation. APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY You must be a full member of AIESEC in Abuja. The official term for 17.18 will start on the 1st February, 2017 and will end January 31st 2016. Transition for the EB will start in January 2017 until February, 2017. Applicants must attend the National Congress scheduled to hold in Enugu from 11-16 January 2017. APPLICATION DETAILS In this application, Please feel free to use your creativity however you want in designing your application form. This process has been designed to help you standout and express yourself, making sure it reflects you and your personality, I urge you to be very realistic in your answers as every detail is very important in decision of the local plenary. This application is divided into 4 parts; Manifesto and Year Plan: A document detailing your vision for AIESEC Abuja in the 16.17 term, and your plan of action to achieve that vision. This plan should contain details of actions steps; focus areas, strategic initiatives in those focus areas and specific numerical targets. Curriculum vitae: List relevant personal, professional and AIESEC experience that you need us to be aware of. EB Questionnaire: This is divided into several parts, candidates are to answer all questions clearly and convincingly, making no alterations to the questions or the order of the questions, all questions related to the position you are applying for should be answered. Endorsement Letter: 1 endorsement from someone that led you in AIESEC Abuja. NB: Endorsements must be dully signed by endorsing parties.

  • 6. SPECIFIC QUESTIONS 1. Create a strategy for growing followership across AIESEC in Abuja social media platforms(twitter, Instagram and the blog) 2. Display innovation by carrying out a unified media campaign with graphic designs that promotes : the LC, OGV and OGT, With aim of getting a minimum of 100likes on the Facebook page, 20followers and 15 sign ups on the opportunity portal(submit evidence). 3. Design a promotional material to be used for membership recruitment for AIESEC in Abuja. 4. The LC has a minimum of 10 sign ups on the opportunity portal monthly. Create a strategic plan to increase the sign up from 10 to 50 monthly. Please make it realistic. 5. What do understand by AIESEC 2020 and its statements and what it means for AIESEC in Abuja? Marketing and Communications
  • 7. SPECIFIC QUESTIONS 4. What should be the growth strategies of OGX program for the next term? Please keep in mind program bottlenecks as well as external (market) and internal (global) trends. Include the perspective of front and back office support. Think of at least 3 strategies. 1. Considering the fact that AIESEC Abuja has the highest sign ups on the opportunity portal, what method will you explore to convert the sign ups to Eps. 2. What is your plan to ensure that AIESEC Abuja realises 200 exchanges. 3. What is your proposal to keep a better EP tracking for EPs after Realization? OUTGOING EXCHANGE

Please justify your answer by providing data and arguments to defend your position regarding external and internal trends (AIESEC) and which counties are better to do international cooperation and why? 5. Also, explain how your structure will cover all the needed processes and actually make them more efficient in order to raise 20 TN's in a period of 3 months and deliver better service to our customers. 6. Describe three components of your philosophy of sales management that demonstrate what you value and add, as an individual, to an organization’s culture and work environment. What do you perceive to be the future evolution of sales in AIESEC INCOMING EXCHANGE (GT) 1. Please outline a plan specifying how to increase results by taking advantage of regional, global realization peaks per pool. You can choose the best way/format to outline your ideas. 2. How can you increase raising, please put a specific strategy to push each iGT Sub products that AIESEC Abuja has. (Please write one strategy for each sub-product) 3.
