Why Do I Want To Stay In Valley Forge
In the winter of 1777 and 1778, George Washington and some soldiers are in Valley Forge,
including the Continental Army. It was a difficult place to stay, some people were sick some were
dead, but not a lot. Would you have quit the army or stayed? I would stay because only 15% of
people died (Doc A), there is help coming and because of the inspirational words of Thomas Paine
Would I quit, no because I want to stay and fight. Would you have quit the army or stayed? I would
stay because only 15% of people died, and there is help coming and because of the inspirational
words of Thomas Paine(DocA). The Congressman was getting more food and clothing to soldiers
and stayed several weeks George Washington is presenting the committee to soldiers

The House Is Spacious And Immaculate
After a long, tiring walk home, Peter and I eventually reach our destination. Peter runs into his
room, and flops on the bed. He appears to be angry with me. Oh, well. He'll thank me later. We've
been home for about an hour, and finally Mary comes in and slams the door. As soon as she does,
the entire house transforms. Everything grows larger and begins to resemble a house. The dirt walls
turn into stone and there are immense windows with violet drapes. The furniture transfigures from
home–made, wooden chairs and tables into elaborate and expensive furnishings. All of the clothes in
the wardrobe change into exquisite masterpieces of fabric. The house is spacious and immaculate.
Peter, Mary, and I are standing here in a state of shock. And ... Show more content on

"Oh, be quiet Peter." I counter.
So I guess you can imagine what happened next. Mary went back to Bell and got me magic. But,
still, I wasn't satisfied. I continued to become greedy. I just could not quench my desire for more.
After living in the improved house, I became a bit bored. One day I thought that we should have
pixie dust so that we could fly around Neverland. And to my surprise, pixie dust does make you fly.
With my new abilities, I was able to give Mary and Peter whatever they wanted. Yet, Peter ran away
about two days ago. He said something about getting away from my greed. I shared with him, so I
didn't quite understand but I don't really care where he is. If he decided to leave, then that is his
problem. Our lives were happy and perfect. But it didn't last for long.
Later that week, I am sitting in my glamorous room, eating berries. What once was a small and
dingy living area is now filled with a large bed and golden furniture. There is a wardrobe filled with
my favorite clothing. Anything that I could ever fathom wanting, is present. As I sit here, a sudden
thought comes to me. If I can have everything that I want, why not become royalty? I heard
somewhere over the multiple years I've spent in Neverland that the island used to have a monarchy.
There were many different lands with rulers. Every few years, a new leader was appointed from one
of the different lands of Neverland. One year is may be a Pirate, the

Cassandr A Short Story
Hours pass, and Cassandra is shaken awake. As her eyes flutter open, she is greeted to a black figure
with a wide, white smile, which is almost cartoon–like.
"Who... what... are you...," she mutters, absently blinking at the thing before her.
"Why, dear," it replies chipperly, "I'm you!"
"Leave me alone," she croaks, closing her eyes in defeat.
"Ah, ah, ah," it giggles, "Not so fast!"
It grips Cassandra's arms in it's own, pulling her up with an inhuman strength. The small girl lets out
a scream of torture.
"Stop! Stop, please! I'll get up!"
"Now THAT'S the spirit!" it smiles, letting go of its death grip.
"What do you want?" Cassandra asks angrily, "Why didn't you come to help me when I woke up in
this mess of a universe?"
"Oh...," it chuckles, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Doctors enter the room, frantically waking up her tired mother, who was sleeping on the sofa
nearby.
"She's going into epileptic shock!"
"Somebody make her bed level!"
"Mrs. Solita, please, for the love of god, wake up!"
Mrs. Solita awakes with a jolt.
"Is it happening again?"
"Yes, yes, god! It isn't dying down this time!"
One of the doctors is screaming at a nurse who is trying to hold the small girl down.
"You'll injure the patient, you idiot!"
The room is filled with yelling and arguing voices, all the while Cassandra's mother stands idly by.
She rests her head in her hands as she weeps, tears soaking her already soiled blouse. It had been
months since her daughter had arrived here, and there was little to no hope left in the tiny woman.
Cassandra's body continues to thrash about, her movements violent, as her limbs flail every which
way. Foam forms around her mouth, dripping to the floor and the bedsheets, respectively. The heart
monitor is beeping rapidly, and shows no signs of stopping.
Until it does.
Mrs. Solita looks up just as her little girl flat lines.
The once rambunctious room turns silent in an instant, with all eyes cast upon the dark girl lying
limp in bed. Her mother lifts herself up off of the couch, trudging closer to her beloved.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Solita," a doctor begins, "we did everything we could."
Another delivers the words that no mother ever wishes to hear.

My Family Monologue
I took a deep sigh as mom said I had to help clean out her closet. I started by the neon colored shirts
and worked my way to the buttoned blouses. Mom decided it was time we take a break. So my mom
and I went downstairs and each had a bowl of pretzels and a glass of orange juice, boy was I
hungry!
We went back upstairs and immediately got back to work. Mom couldn 't get inside the closet to the
hard–to–reach places, but sadly I could. I plopped myself inside my mom 's dark and dusty closet.
Mom said she was running downstairs to get some garbage bags for old clothes. After she left, I
looked inside the closet and saw a little shining light. I reached for the light and found this old dusty
journal like book. I took the book with me and saw ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I heard something sneaking up behind me. I turned around and looked up above...almost 50 feet tall.
I had seen my first dragon! The dragon was kind of orange and had grey speckled spots on it. It
changed color as fast as a pin dropping. It had 4 horns on its head, and tremendously magnificent
wings. The dragon saw me and unhinged its jaw. Out came a fiery mist of heat, it was red with
strands of blue. When I screamed for help the dragon froze.
The dragon bowed down to my ankles and said "My name is Garonie and I promise to not harm
you. What is your name human creature?"
"Rihanna Lucc..." I murmured quietly.
"Well it is a pleasure to meet–––" exclaimed Garonie.
Before he could finish I asked "Where am I?"
He refused to tell me what the amazing land was called. Garonie said I would have to figure that one
out by myself. I was confused and startled, I decided it was time for me to hustle on back to the
human world. But I was lost, had no shelter, and not a single clue about anything.
"Rise and shine sunshine," roared Garonie.
Garonie had waken me up in dragon hours which basically for me means waking up at 3 in the
morning. Garonie said that he was going to introduce me to his other dragon friends. I rejected and
explained how I need to find my way back to the human world. But when Garonie told me the
names of all the dragons, I heard the one that was written in the journal before. "syfbu" and "kgbus"
were two of the names that were in the journal, and

I Ll Do It Analysis
We used to make word maps as an icebreaker activity, mostly in middle school and occasionally at
summer camp. These maps would contain different traits and phrases about the cartographer, the
most relevant ones taking precedent above the others and appearing larger on the map. Long gone
are the days of creating word maps for me, but if I had created one for my junior year of high
school, I'm sure that my most pertinent phrase would have been an ambitious "I'll do it." Every time
a new project came up I would be the first in line to hop into the captain's chair, whether it be for my
film class, physics, english, or even choir. All of these responsibilities began to encumber my
personal happiness, for I was perpetually working and striving for my best whilst my peers took on a
more laissez faire approach to the year. At one point, I ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

lit by a sun glow, framed by contrasting darkness of every negativity prior to that present moment.
"This," she explained, "is your whole life in front of you. You hold your future in your hands. No
doubt that you overcame some strong adversities to be accepted into the festival, but it is because of
your diligence that you succeed, that you stand apart from the rest. With that diligence you are free

Some people would say that I do not deserve to be staff, and others might say that I do deserve to be
apart of the staff team. If I am going to be completely honest I do not think that I am very different
from "The crowd". I want to help the server by become staff and helping players, banning hackers
and doing anything that a player needs (If they have a good reason for me to do it). If you want to
choose someone else that isn't my choice it is all up to you, but I believe I would be a good pick.
Why I should be accepted however is that I am nice to players and will help them with their
problems, ban hackers and overall be a positive player toward people. Again, it is totally the opinion
that matters if I stand out from the crowd, I believe that I am not very different in someways from
"The crowd" but different in others. I have experience in being a staff member and can screenshare
players and know when people are just flat out cheating, or lying to me about

Why Do I Behave The Way I Do?
Why do I behave the way I do? There should be a simple answer, yet it is so much more
complicated than that. To answer this question, you must look at a number of different things,
including the way and environment I've been raised in, my biology and heredity, my decision
making and through processes, and much more. Taking AP Psychology during my Sophomore year
provided me with a brief understanding of myself and the world around me.
Knowing nothing about the class and only taking it based off of the advice of a few friends and
counselors, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I knew nothing about psychology – except
for hypnosis – and wanted to learn something different and that can be applied to the real world. The

Some Essay/Creative Writing I Have To Do One of the struggles I had was getting my first job at

very simple job and I felt confident to work. I never had any job experience prior to this and I
assumed the work wasn't going to be difficult. It was great to be able to work and earn myself some
money over the summer. My mom told me I could spend it however I'd like. A month after I signed

I was worried about my bike being stolen because it is common for bikes to get stolen in East
Vancouver. A way I dealt with the problem was to bring two locks with me and I always bring it
with me to the employee locker room. On August 20th, this is the first day and the first time I got to
swipe my card and I was very excited. As I walked in and grabbed my uniform and got ready to
work. Within a few hours of standing outside in the sun, I felt so tired and exhausted. I didn't want to
continue to work anymore, I realized how difficult it was to make money. At the end of the shift, I
was completely out of it. I swiped my card out and got onto my bike and rode home. Fast forward to
the next day of work, I was feeling really worn out and lost all energy to work. I went in and
changed into my uniform then I went out to stand in the sun again. This time, I noticed that if I try to
enjoy what I was doing time could pass by quicker because my shifts were 6 hours I had quite of
time left on the job. I would occasionally see someone I know or recognized. I got a lot of "What?!,

The And The Sun Is Shining Through The Rain
1)
It 's mid September, and the sun is shining through the rain, creating the most beautiful oxymoron I
believe I 've ever seen.
This was the year I learned to love the rain.
It 's true that not every story is worthy of being published, and many stories that need to be heard
have yet to be written. Even still, they 're locked away in the hearts of people – beautiful people.
Because, no matter how you look at it, the truth is, we all have a story. Whether the words ever
touch pages or not.
My story isn 't one that deserves to be written. I 'm not interesting. There are a thousand stories out
there that are better than mine. Stories written in the hearts and eyes of the people that we pass by
everyday. Those small details I didn 't ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That 's Ty, he 's undyingly optimistic, and I 'm tempted to tell you it 's his worst trait, but even I 'm
not prone to that level of exaggeration.
"It 's the rain. It 's killing me."
"I 'm sorry, Jess. Just be patient, it can 't rain forever."
See? Optimistic.
All jokes aside, I love Ty, he 's one of the reasons I love it here so much, one of the reasons I 've
decided to leave my apartment – to leave the family vineyard in Tennessee spend six months on our
plantation in Texas.
I try to smile as I shift my gaze up to his smiling face, "I 'm glad to know you woke up on the right
side of the bed this morning."
Ty winks at me, and I crack a real smile, utterly against my will. It 's hard to be in a bad mood
around Ty, he radiates a sort of charm that relaxes people. He 's the type of person you would
accidentally fall in love with... Trust me, I know.
My gaze shifts out the window. Purple grey clouds are looming over our sad looking plants. I was so
ready for this to be over.
"Should I get you a glass? I didn 't know you were making juice."
"What?" I bring my attention back to the here and now, Realizing I 've been picking my orange apart
a little too late. Ty tosses me a washcloth to clear up the juice I 've unconscious dripped onto the
table.
"I really need to get you out of this house." Ty sits across from me, his fingers gliding over the
glossy puzzle that had recently become the bane of their existence.
"Why?"

Cultural Identity In Basketball, Basketball And Basketball
What is cultural identity? How does one develop a cultural identity? I believe a person's cultural
identity is determined by the people that surround you and the things that you do. So, what is my
cultural identity? My own cultural identity is based around many of the experiences I have had and
the people I've met. If you asked people what best describes me, they would probably say I'm a
sports jock. My parents have had influence on all aspects of my life. My friends have had a huge
impact on who I am.. The combination of these three things I cherish, has shaped me and my
cultural identity.
Sports have had significant effect on me as a person and my cultural identity. I play both basketball
and baseball. Both sports have given me opportunity to grow as a player and a person. I feel like
basketball represents me because to succeed in it, it takes hard–work, dedication, and a little bit of
skill. I try to apply those three things in everything I do. Basketball has always kept me driven to
accomplish my goals. It has always given me an escape from all the pressures of the world.
Basketball has quickly become one of the main hobbies in my life. Most of my free time consists of
playing basketball, talking about it, or playing a basketball video game. Not only has basketball
influenced my interests, it has also impacted the way I act and treat others. When I first started
basketball, I would argue with referees, trash talk the opposing players, and butt heads with my
coach. Now,

I went deer hunting for the first time when I was 2 years old. My dad took me hunting. As I got

deer but they would never die.
When I got older, I started hunting myself.

The Fashionable Mrs Blue Essay
The Fashionable Mrs. Blue has a Plan and a Clue
Stacy Heydt
Mr. and Mrs. Blue lived in the big city. Mr. Blue wanted to move to the country. Mrs. Blue did not.
She loved to shop in the big city stores. He did not.
Mr. Blue, what will you do?
I have a clue as to what I can do to make my wife happy, he thought.
Mr. Blue bought a small farm with a big barn not too far from the city.
Next he bought several alpacas. That's how Mr. Blue became Farmer Blue.
The alpacas were happy living on Farmer Blue's farm. They ran, pronked, and played in the pasture.
They munched on the green grass. Their favorite time of day was when Farmer Blue fed them grain.

Blue invited friends over for crochet and knitting parties. Tap, tap, tap went the needles. Zoop, zoop,

Just in time, thought Farmer Blue. It's beginning to get cold. Farmer Blue asked Mrs. Blue if she
knew what she would do with all her fabulous fashions. Her reply?
"Well, of course I do, Farmer Blue. You should know I have a clue." Then she told him her plan.
"I'll invite all my friends from the big city to come and see our alpacas and shop in our new store."
And so she did. Her friends from the big city came to see the alpacas.
They were amazed that Mrs. Blue had made so many beautiful fashions from the alpacas' fiber. Then
they shopped and shopped and SHOPPED some more.
Soon the store was empty and the cash register was full. The fiber studio and store were a success!
Mrs. Blue smiled. Her fabulous fiber fashions were being worn all around the big city. She was
named "The Fashionable Mrs. Blue" in the Big City News! That's how Mrs. Blue became The
Fashionable Mrs. Blue.
Whew, whew, WHEW! thought Farmer Blue. My wife is now happy, so I am too!

Flanders Fields: I Do Not Hold It High !
It is difficult to say what lies in Flanders Fields as it depends on how one interprets the speaker's
intent. Some interpretations of the poem gush with patriotism as the interpreter boldly calls the
audience to continue the fight which countless have perished in, notably during the phrase, "Take up
our quarrel with the foe! To you from failing hands we throw the torch! Be yours to hold it high!" It
is a call to action. The interpreter can rally the audience to enlist today in aid to their country's
defense in the name of remembrance and faithfulness. Other interpretations of the poem, mine
included, focus on the solemnity of Flanders Fields and the events that have transpired which made
it so. The speaker is presumably a dead soldier as the poem is written in the first person through the
use of the words "we" and "our." These ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

poppies that grew on Flanders Fields did so due to the high lime content of the soil, a direct result
caused by the newly delivered dead. In other words, the poppies thrive off the dead, who in turn
demand that living and able people continue their fight. The cycle is prolonged and continues.
Nothing then, is truly as it seems in Flanders Fields. The dead want the living to rejuvenate the
poppies by continuing the futility of their fight in the trenches. The beautiful, lively, and vibrant
poppies blow across the stone cold and gray crosses of the deceased. Larks are aloft high in the sky
singing their beautiful songs as guns blast beneath them and send additional people to a new home
beneath the ground. The young who were once living are now ghosts calling for

What I Do For America Essay
America, land of the free and home of the brave. A country that has been united and been divided.
Unfortunately, America is divided now more than ever. Every single one of us are trying to point
fingers at one another. This, will not solve anything. The only way to mend our broken bond is to sit
back and look at ourselves. I always ask myself two questions. "Am I a part of the solution, and
what can I do to help fix what is broken?" It doesn't matter how big or how small of a difference as
long as we know that we tried our hardest. John F. Kennedy once said, "The cost of freedom is
always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the
path of surrender, or submission." I agree with him. The cost is high, and I will not submit to
anything. Whether itś being a bystander or giving in to greed, each and every one of us has a
responsibility to America. Our responsibility is to work for our freedom. ... Show more content on

have fallen under today. If I'm not corrupt, I can help others turn away from the path of lies for
money. Money is a part of our everyday lives. Giving in to money is a natural instinct nowadays, but
we can't do it. We can let money control us. The cost is high, and I will never submit or surrender to

How Do Historians View Napoleon I Emperor Of The French?
How have historians tried to evaluate the ultimate goal of Napoleon I, Emperor of the French? With
such a variety of perspectives, there is no single theory that can fully answer the breadth of the
question. Instead, kaleidoscopes of opinions that span centuries from Napoleon's reign to
contemporary research give us the best analysis of his ambitions. No matter the era, historian's
opinions of Napoleon shift between admiring his achievements, in varying contexts of establishing
order or reorganizing governmental systems, to criticizing his personal lust for power. This essay
will discuss the varying opinions by which historians view Napoleon I, Emperor of the French, and
his fundamental objective as ruler. There is a general consensus amongst historians about
Napoleon's intelligence and his ability to inspire and guide his troops with immense skill. As
Michael Broers comments: "it is when historians deny him genius, creative power and acute
intelligence, that they fail in their task." Historians also agree that the French Revolution of 1789
played a critical role in Napoleon's life by shaping his future aspirations. However, in spite of this
broad agreement, there are varying views about how he used his genius in his rise to power.
Historians tend to take two sides in their scrutiny of Napoleon as ruler. He is either seen as a saviour,
a leader who would preserve the revolution, or a tyrant, a man who saw an opportunity to further his
place in the world with the use of

What Do I Believe?
What do I believe in? If you are asking me this in a spiritual sense, I can say honestly that I have no
idea. Sometimes I think there might be some sort of force or spirits, watching over us. Other times I
don't believe in anything at all. Now, if you are asking me this in a general sense, I can say that I
believe in truthfulness and friendship. I believe in the importance of fairness, of family, of
happiness, and of community. I believe that everyone can succeed but must fail at least once to do
so; and that everyone has the ability to understand another even if they do not agree with his or her
own beliefs.
My beliefs and values stem from too many places to name. Every experience I have, every moment
that I am alive, pushes me towards or away from a belief. Every decision my parents make
influences my beliefs and values. Every value and belief I learn at school and in my faith
community at church allows me to consider whether the decisions I have made in the past are right.
The lesson I learn there also influence how I make decisions in the future.
I believed that everyone should be as truthful as possible without hurting the ones they love. People
should be open to any values or beliefs that someone has even if they don't agree. Everyone should
try their best not to say a mean word and no one should be left out.
There are also decisions I make based not on specific laws I have for myself but based on judgment
and what I think is the right move for the situation.

It was a normal girls ' night for Mabel, Grenda, and Candy. Age–inappropriate romance novels,
heaps upon heaps of junk food, dollar store teen movies, gossip, sleepover games...any preteen girl

Netflix on it, since y 'know, Dipper was in the living room) when they sadly realized about halfway
through the movie they were out of popcorn. "Candy, can you go pop another bag?" Mabel asked. "I
did it last time!" Candy half–jokingly argued. "And I really like this scene between Justin and
Bella." "We can pause it." Grenda stated, pressing 'pause ' on the little tablet. "Pleeeease?" Candy

Where Do I Belong?
Where Do I Belong?
"Boys and Girls," written by Alice Munro, follows a young girl growing up on a farm and struggling
to be her own person while meeting the expectations of her parents. She has a younger brother
named Laird, whom she is often compared to. She spends lots of time helping her father in the barn,
even though her mother really wants her in the house doing more feminine chores. The emphasis on
girl's vs boy's chores, plays a major role in the story and how the children are treated. Gender roles
or stereotypes make writing more interesting and make stories captivating by relating to everyday
life allowing the reader to place themselves into the story. Gender roles factor in everyday life and
even without knowing how much if effects children, society places the gender labels on everything.
Gender roles have become a major influence in households, workplaces, and almost everywhere.
The norm for what a male should do and say differs from what a female should do and say. Society
has placed these roles on children and adults. Sometimes society places the idea of men's work
versus women's work on children without realizing the effects it may have. Age also becomes a
contributing factor in jobs, actions, and what language is acceptable. Girls are allowed to do certain
jobs until the boys are old enough and vice versa. Munro does a great job illustrating how hard it is
to accept and understand gender roles and age specific behaviors. Munro uses character, symbolism,

Sensei Mady: Do I Do This, Or Not?
Sensei Mady Who?
"Do I do this, or not?" I questioned myself. This decision could change my life for the better. If I
said yes, I would have an enormous responsibility to carry on my shoulders. I couldn't quit midway,
I would have to learn loads too. Teaching kids what karate is and what we do in a class isn't a test
you can study for. You have to learn by experience, practice, and physical movement. Teaching 6
year old kids' routines and how to kick, punch, and speak Japanese karate words is a lot of work,
focus, and patience. 6 year old's have the attention span of a bumble bee! The kids would also have
to learn that when I tell them to do something, they need to do it. But, they also need to know I love
them, even if they don't like what I tell them to do. I would have to strengthen my body again, learn
all the secret tricks, learn the correct ways to handle the bags when we do bag work, and how to
correct the kids when they do something wrong. You have to correct them the right way, or they will
mess up again and get confused. There is a lot of stress as a karate teacher. Soon, the time came for
me to make this life changing choice. My instructor inquired what my final decision was, and I

Why Did I Do If I Want To Do Before They Die?
"The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any
time," Mark Twain. A man named John Keats would have very muched enjoyed this line by famous
writer Mark Twain. Keats, was a young poet born in England, and his poems are now extremely
famous long after his death. Keats became very sick with what modern doctors call tuberculosis, so
young Keats went to Rome hoping he would stave off the disease with the Mediterranean air. In the
end he succumb to his illness, however I believe he teaches an important lesson with his move. He
also asks a very important question surrounding death, what does someone want to do before they
die? Personally, before I die I would love to travel to exotic places, start a wonderful family, and put
myself in a position to help people by being a part of politics. The first thing I would love to do
before I pass away, is visit many different, distant, and exotic lands. Many people that want to travel
really don't have it planned out at all, and that's where I differ from many people. My plan is to
travel Ireland first and visit its capital, then after that go to England and roam around the west coast

position in slate legislature, therefore becoming a senator or house representative. Many people
believe politicians are dirty and only take positions to gain power and abuse it. However, I will gain
power and use it for noble causes like taking a stand against most corrupt political processes, and
helping other less fortunate nations. I believe many people should get involved with politics to better

Why I Should Do Or Should I Not
Two things kept going back and forth in my head, should I do or should I not. As walked to my car
from work, I kept starring at my phone thinking an answer would appear on the screen. Then I sat in
my car contemplating for another fifth teen minutes, which felt extremely short knowing that I
needed more time. Out of the blue I heard a voice in my head saying. "Do you really want mom to
kill you?" Sadly, due to my non–conformist personality and being the strong minded one of the
family, I stumble upon this question quite often. Just like all the other times, I went with my impulse
and decided to go for it. On my way there, I was wondering how on earth will I be able to pull this
off without my mother's permission and maybe that was why a thirty–minute car ride somehow felt
like five.
Finally, I pulled my car into a gravel path and hoped for the best as I walked into the building
nervously. But as I walked closer to the front desk, I felt a sense of ease and I remembered my
whole purpose of being there. Then receptionist asked me, "Can I help you?" and in returned I said
"I am here for Pup Pup." As I following the nice lady to the back, there was huge difference from
the waiting room to where placed the rest of them. The moment I stepped foot behind there, this
disgusting odor instantly hit me and all I heard was something screeching against the medal fences.

Summary Of ' The ' Of The Cat ' By F. Scott Fitzgerald
+ one year later + Louis don 't touch that! You can hurt yourself. Niall don 't you dare think about

would think that after roughly two years of doing this, Harry would get used to how much trouble
Niall, and Louis could do in under an hour but Harry begged to differ. Liam was currently working
his normal nine to five shift, and Zayn was doing some freelance work god knows where. With the
two of them out, that left Harry alone with the terrible two who refused to sit still. Louis was

and tugged softly to signal to him that he needed to move. Niall let out a small whine at the thought
of upsetting Harry once he realized that he had disobeyed him, but made sure to follow him. With
Niall trailing behind him, Harry walked swiftly over to Louis who was giggling, and reaching for
the knife from his seat. Louis didn't have a high chair, when a Harry brought up the idea to him he

The Damned If I Do Damned
Damned if I Do, Damned if I Don't There are a number of different ways that knowledge can
broaden our horizons as we go through life. This includes ways in which we go about doing our
daily activities all the way to how we further ourselves in our career paths. Many people do see
knowledge as a benefit, especially for those who are trying to get ahead when it comes to jump
starting their careers within certain industries. All careers require a certain amount of knowledge and
skill in order to obtain the position. However some do see too much knowledge as something that
can hinder you from certain positions. It all depends on how knowledge is applied and how we
choose to share that knowledge in order to benefit ourselves as well as others. We go through 12
years of schooling before we reach college. Some may feel as if high school is it for them and they
have retained all of the information they need and have learned the proper amount of knowledge
needed in order to be successful in life. However, for others, their path in life is different. Some need
to further in knowledge in order to have a career in higher paying jobs, for example, if you want to
be brain surgeon, I'm pretty sure you cannot obtain a career of that nature just off of a high school
diploma. That is definitely common knowledge, of course you're going to need to further your
schooling in order to obtain the skills and tools needed in order to be successful in that career path.

Important Essay: Why Community Service Is Important
At first when I found out I was going to have to do this essay I was not too excited. I had no idea

and volunteering teaches compassion and understanding. You can volunteer for something you
really believe and have an interest in, and can volunteer as much or as little as you'd like or have
time for." Community service is really easy to get into. I mean, it is not like you have to put out an

It benefits me in a lot of ways as well. For instance, I get extra credit, opportunities to get ribbons,
and the opportunity to get to go on the canoe trip for free. When I help my grandma and the
neighbors I help with things around the house, babysit, and do yard work. Babysitting isn't exactly
my favorite thing, but I do it to help out. Most of the things I do I don't mind doing. I love helping
out. At my church I help clean, watch the kids, organize the youth group, plan plays, plan trips, and
serve communion. Helping out at the church is one of my favorite things to do because I get to do so
much. My favorite things that I do at the church are with the youth group. I organize who all needs a
ride, what we will be working on that day, and the activity afterwards. I also plan the trips in the
summer and which camp we will go to. And at church events I keep an eye on the kids for their
parents and find things fun for them to do. I clean up after church, meetings, and events. Usually it
only takes a little over an hour and a half to do. On Sundays I serve communion and sometimes I
even read scripture. We do an Easter play and a Christmas play every year and I help decide what
play we will do and organize the meetings and the performance

Marriage Equality
Sara Bernard
Chamberlain College of Nursing
January 7, 2015
"I do but I can't" (Herdt, G., & Kertzner, R., 2006), the inequalities of marriage are not issues that
are new or just starting to make the news in this recent decade. There have been centuries upon
centuries of individual fighting for the right to marry. What do these individuals look like and why
can't they be free to marry whom they desire? These individuals that fight for rights to marry vary in
race, gender, ethnicity, and religion all around the world they ask, plead and beg marriage equality.
They are prohibited from marrying because society views their desire as abnormal. How far would a
nation go to prevent a couple from getting ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
(Loving v. Virginia 388 U.S. 1 (1967))". They faced a felony charge with a maximum of five years
in prison for the crime of interracial marriage. They were given a year in prison which became
suspended as long as they left the state of Virginia and did not return. They lived in a time where it
was believed that "Almighty God created the races, white, black, yellow, Malay, and red and placed
them on separate continents, and but for the interference with his arrangement there would be no
cause for such marriages". (Tucker, N. 2006)
Religious perspective should hold no part in legal matters in this country.
In other countries such as Africa and the Middle East they are legally able to go as far as sentencing
someone to death. Sadly South Africa is the only the part that not only recognizes same sex
marriages but also supports it. Most parts of Africa considered and homosexuality act to be sinful
and are punishable by life imprisonment for a tribe member and death for a non–tribe member. Even
in some religions, such as Islam there is written scriptures that state they may not marry
nonbelievers of their religion. For example if a Muslim woman marries and Christian man she may

The inequality makes no sense, although in some states it is legal in others it is not. "A married gay

Creative Writing : A Short Story
“"And just where do you think you are going?" asked a deep voice. It was followed by a small bark.
Kate turned around, frightened to say the very least, only to meet eyes with Mr.. Jacks, a teen boy
and a bulldog.
"Did you follow me?" Kate questioned with confusion written on her face. The young boy next to
Mr.. Jacks nodded.
"Yeah we did! We're surprised you figured out how to get out, it will help my group out a lot more,
my name's Liam by the way, nice to meet ya!" Liam smiled. Kate grinned back and waved towards
Liam. "I'm Kate, but continuing on to the real problem... do you know why these things are here?"
Kate looked intensely at the both of them, expecting a response. Liam shook his head and Mr.. Jacks
let out a sigh. "We ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Liam and Mr. Jacks followed close behind. "I do happen to know about them, or at least, enough to
get you your information, though I don't think I'm allowed to share this information..." Uragiri
continued rambling. Kate looked to Liam with a smirk, she knew just what to do. "Giri! Would you
lead us to this information of yours?" Liam asked with a charmful grin. Uragiri didn't buy any of it.
A faint buzz came after the slight awkward silence. Kate and Liam exchanged curious glances and
Uragiri looked worried. "As I have enjoyed your presence, I must take my leave." Uragiri mumbled
nervously, bowed and then slipped out of the alley. Mr.. Jacks chased the girl, he had a hint of
suspicion about her knowledge of force fields. Kate slowly slid down the wall and cried out
whatever she could, she had lost any hope to confront and put an end to Daiya's rule. She came to
the realization that she couldn't help her family or friends from these hamster balls called "force
fields". Liam scooted over towards Kate, giving her hand a tight squeeze. She looked at him with
sorrow but he returned a strange look to her, a look of hope. Mr. Jacks turned the corner after a few
minutes with a gleeful grin. "I may or may not happen to know who is in charge of the fields, they're
right this way," Kate and Liam got up and turned the corner to see a castlelike building. They looked
in awe at the building. "They just so happen to own the Diamond mansion." Liam highfived his dad

What Will I Do About My Education?
What will I do to "claim"1 my education? I have to first ask. Am I claiming my education?
According, to Adrienne Rich I should be just because I am in college does not mean I am claiming
it. She explicitly states claiming as "to take as the rightful owner; to assert in the face of possible
contradiction."1 In contrast to receiving meaning "to come into possession of: to act as receptacle or
container for; to accept as authoritative or true." Well, which one am I doing? Well similar to Alicia
Arnold, I ended up in the ALEC, which I don't normally go to except that for my HDEV class, so
the fact that I was here on the 14th of September was a surprise, but I found the need to be there
from an Out of Class Experience from PRW. There is nothing to gain from going to this. I don't even
need help preparing for essay and multiple choice tests. These thoughts were going through my
mind as I was sitting in the conference room with Ms. Umobong and other students. Eventually, Ms.
Umobong passed the signing sheet, a handout, and says a greeting to the small group of seven of us.
Meanwhile, I am discerning through the packet trying to understand the craziness that it is. I learned
my first lessons from this no matter how much you think you already know and which habit you
think are great can always be better. So after, we all sign in on the sheet, Ms. Umobong goes right
into explaining a packet and unlike a lecture it seems more like a conversation than a class or
workshop.
Ms.

Why Do I Want To Stay In Valley Forge

  • 1. Why Do I Want To Stay In Valley Forge In the winter of 1777 and 1778, George Washington and some soldiers are in Valley Forge, including the Continental Army. It was a difficult place to stay, some people were sick some were dead, but not a lot. Would you have quit the army or stayed? I would stay because only 15% of people died (Doc A), there is help coming and because of the inspirational words of Thomas Paine Would I quit, no because I want to stay and fight. He appears to be angry with me. Oh, well. He'll thank me later. We've been home for about an hour, and finally Mary comes in and slams the door. As soon as she does, the entire house transforms. Everything grows larger and begins to resemble a house. The dirt walls turn into stone and there are immense windows with violet drapes. The furniture transfigures from home–made, wooden chairs and tables into elaborate and expensive furnishings. All of the clothes in the wardrobe change into exquisite masterpieces of fabric. The house is spacious and immaculate. Peter, Mary, and I are standing here in a state of shock. And ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... "Oh, be quiet Peter." I counter. So I guess you can imagine what happened next. Mary went back to Bell and got me magic. But, still, I wasn't satisfied. I continued to become greedy. I just could not quench my desire for more. After living in the improved house, I became a bit bored. One day I thought that we should have pixie dust so that we could fly around Neverland. And to my surprise, pixie dust does make you fly. With my new abilities, I was able to give Mary and Peter whatever they wanted. Yet, Peter ran away about two days ago. He said something about getting away from my greed. I shared with him, so I didn't quite understand but I don't really care where he is. If he decided to leave, then that is his problem. Our lives were happy and perfect. But it didn't last for long. Later that week, I am sitting in my glamorous room, eating berries. What once was a small and dingy living area is now filled with a large bed and golden furniture. There is a wardrobe filled with my favorite clothing. Anything that I could ever fathom wanting, is present. As I sit here, a sudden thought comes to me. If I can have everything that I want, why not become royalty? I heard somewhere over the multiple years I've spent in Neverland that the island used to have a monarchy. There were many different lands with rulers. Every few years, a new leader was appointed from one of the different lands of Neverland. One year is may be a Pirate, the ... "Who... what... are you...," she mutters, absently blinking at the thing before her. "Why, dear," it replies chipperly, "I'm you!" "Leave me alone," she croaks, closing her eyes in defeat. "Ah, ah, ah," it giggles, "Not so fast!" It grips Cassandra's arms in it's own, pulling her up with an inhuman strength. The small girl lets out a scream of torture. "Stop! Stop, please! I'll get up!" "Now THAT'S the spirit!" it smiles, letting go of its death grip. "What do you want?" Cassandra asks angrily, "Why didn't you come to help me when I woke up in this mess of a universe?" "She's going into epileptic shock!" "Somebody make her bed level!" "Mrs. Solita, please, for the love of god, wake up!" Mrs. Solita awakes with a jolt. "Is it happening again?" "Yes, yes, god! It isn't dying down this time!" One of the doctors is screaming at a nurse who is trying to hold the small girl down. "You'll injure the patient, you idiot!" The room is filled with yelling and arguing voices, all the while Cassandra's mother stands idly by. She rests her head in her hands as she weeps, tears soaking her already soiled blouse. It had been months since her daughter had arrived here, and there was little to no hope left in the tiny woman. Cassandra's body continues to thrash about, her movements violent, as her limbs flail every which way. Foam forms around her mouth, dripping to the floor and the bedsheets, respectively. The heart monitor is beeping rapidly, and shows no signs of stopping. Until it does. Mrs. Solita looks up just as her little girl flat lines. The once rambunctious room turns silent in an instant, with all eyes cast upon the dark girl lying limp in bed. Her mother lifts herself up off of the couch, trudging closer to her beloved. Mom decided it was time we take a break. So my mom and I went downstairs and each had a bowl of pretzels and a glass of orange juice, boy was I hungry! We went back upstairs and immediately got back to work. Mom couldn 't get inside the closet to the hard–to–reach places, but sadly I could. I plopped myself inside my mom 's dark and dusty closet. I turned around and looked up above...almost 50 feet tall. I had seen my first dragon! The dragon was kind of orange and had grey speckled spots on it. It changed color as fast as a pin dropping. It had 4 horns on its head, and tremendously magnificent wings. The dragon saw me and unhinged its jaw. Out came a fiery mist of heat, it was red with strands of blue. When I screamed for help the dragon froze. The dragon bowed down to my ankles and said "My name is Garonie and I promise to not harm you. What is your name human creature?" "Rihanna Lucc..." I murmured quietly. "Well it is a pleasure to meet–––" exclaimed Garonie. Before he could finish I asked "Where am I?" He refused to tell me what the amazing land was called. Garonie said I would have to figure that one out by myself. I was confused and startled, I decided it was time for me to hustle on back to the human world. But I was lost, had no shelter, and not a single clue about anything. "Rise and shine sunshine," roared Garonie. Garonie had waken me up in dragon hours which basically for me means waking up at 3 in the morning. Garonie said that he was going to introduce me to his other dragon friends. I rejected and explained how I need to find my way back to the human world. But when Garonie told me the names of all the dragons, I heard the one that was written in the journal before. • 18. I Ll Do It Analysis We used to make word maps as an icebreaker activity, mostly in middle school and occasionally at summer camp. These maps would contain different traits and phrases about the cartographer, the most relevant ones taking precedent above the others and appearing larger on the map. Long gone are the days of creating word maps for me, but if I had created one for my junior year of high school, I'm sure that my most pertinent phrase would have been an ambitious "I'll do it." Every time a new project came up I would be the first in line to hop into the captain's chair, whether it be for my film class, physics, english, or even choir. All of these responsibilities began to encumber my personal happiness, for I was perpetually working and striving for my best whilst my peers took on a more laissez faire approach to the year. The world shifted focus and the miniature globe in my hands became lit by a sun glow, framed by contrasting darkness of every negativity prior to that present moment. "This," she explained, "is your whole life in front of you. You hold your future in your hands. No doubt that you overcame some strong adversities to be accepted into the festival, but it is because of your diligence that you succeed, that you stand apart from the rest. With that diligence you are free to pave any path that you can see, and since you see the world in your hands, you are free." In that moment I understood what the reward was. To answer this question, you must look at a number of different things, including the way and environment I've been raised in, my biology and heredity, my decision making and through processes, and much more. Taking AP Psychology during my Sophomore year provided me with a brief understanding of myself and the world around me. Knowing nothing about the class and only taking it based off of the advice of a few friends and counselors, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Some interpretations of the poem gush with patriotism as the interpreter boldly calls the audience to continue the fight which countless have perished in, notably during the phrase, "Take up our quarrel with the foe! To you from failing hands we throw the torch! Be yours to hold it high!" It is a call to action. The interpreter can rally the audience to enlist today in aid to their country's defense in the name of remembrance and faithfulness. Both sides of the war heavily employed trenches. This led to trench assaults which resulted in near certain death and devastating casualties for miniscule results. Trench warfare came to symbolize the futility of WWI and the frustration and confusion that came along with it. In other words, the poppies thrive off the dead, who in turn demand that living and able people continue their fight. The cycle is prolonged and continues. Nothing then, is truly as it seems in Flanders Fields. The dead want the living to rejuvenate the poppies by continuing the futility of their fight in the trenches. • 80. How Do Historians View Napoleon I Emperor Of The French? How have historians tried to evaluate the ultimate goal of Napoleon I, Emperor of the French? With such a variety of perspectives, there is no single theory that can fully answer the breadth of the question. Instead, kaleidoscopes of opinions that span centuries from Napoleon's reign to contemporary research give us the best analysis of his ambitions. No matter the era, historian's opinions of Napoleon shift between admiring his achievements, in varying contexts of establishing order or reorganizing governmental systems, to criticizing his personal lust for power. This essay will discuss the varying opinions by which historians view Napoleon I, Emperor of the French, and his fundamental objective as ruler. There is a general consensus amongst historians about Napoleon's intelligence and his ability to inspire and guide his troops with immense skill. As Michael Broers comments: "it is when historians deny him genius, creative power and acute intelligence, that they fail in their task." Historians also agree that the French Revolution of 1789 played a critical role in Napoleon's life by shaping his future aspirations. However, in spite of this broad agreement, there are varying views about how he used his genius in his rise to power. Historians tend to take two sides in their scrutiny of Napoleon as ruler. He is either seen as a saviour, a leader who would preserve the revolution, or a tyrant, a man who saw an opportunity to further his place in the world with the use of ... Sometimes I think there might be some sort of force or spirits, watching over us. Other times I don't believe in anything at all. Now, if you are asking me this in a general sense, I can say that I believe in truthfulness and friendship. I believe in the importance of fairness, of family, of happiness, and of community. I believe that everyone can succeed but must fail at least once to do so; and that everyone has the ability to understand another even if they do not agree with his or her own beliefs. My beliefs and values stem from too many places to name. Every experience I have, every moment that I am alive, pushes me towards or away from a belief. Every decision my parents make influences my beliefs and values. Every value and belief I learn at school and in my faith community at church allows me to consider whether the decisions I have made in the past are right. The lesson I learn there also influence how I make decisions in the future. I believed that everyone should be as truthful as possible without hurting the ones they love. People should be open to any values or beliefs that someone has even if they don't agree. Everyone should try their best not to say a mean word and no one should be left out. She sat there in her perfect green cardigan with her perfect bun on top of her perfect head. Her perfection made my "Jeans and a T– shirt look" look like I was much underdressed for this visit. I just hoped she could help me through what I was dealing with. "I'm saying that I have all of these fears that I need to work through, or get help with." I replied. "Well, explain them to me, so that I can possibly help you." "Where do I start? I fear police cars. I fear that they'll pull into my driveway. I worry they will be there just to tell me something I don't want to hear. Something like a family member passing away." I stated, then paused. "That's an understandable fear. Do you have any more fears?" She asked, breaking the silence I had created. 'There are many fears." "Do you feel as though you could share them with me?" She questioned. I really don't, but I need help, and she was all I could find. "Yes. I fear falling asleep at night because I worry that I won't wake up the next morning. In the same respect, though, I fear not going to sleep at all. I fear that I'll fall asleep at work and lose my job. I fear also that if I don't sleep it will kill me." I pause again. Age–inappropriate romance novels, heaps upon heaps of junk food, dollar store teen movies, gossip, sleepover games...any preteen girl 's dream. And Dipper 's worst nightmare. All Mabel had to do to get Dipper to get far, far away from their room was even so much as think about having a girls ' night. After the traumatic experience he 'd had attending one in Mabel 's body, he couldn 't even stand to witness them anymore. They always had to rock–paper–scissors to see who got their room and who had to sleep in the living room. Dipper somehow always lost. Hehe. Maybe don 't throw paper every time... This particular night, the girls were indulging in a late–night sing–along viewing of Community College Melody 3 (which they unfortunately had to view on a minuscule–screened $50 tablet Candy owned with Netflix on it, since y 'know, Dipper was in the living room) when they sadly realized about halfway through the movie they were out of popcorn. "Candy, can you go pop another bag?" Mabel asked. "I did it last time!" Candy half–jokingly argued. "And I really like this scene between Justin and Bella." "We can pause it." Grenda stated, pressing 'pause ' on the little tablet. "Pleeeease?" Candy sighed. "I wouldn 't for just anybody." "Thanks, Candy! You 're the best!" • 105. Where Do I Belong? Where Do I Belong? "Boys and Girls," written by Alice Munro, follows a young girl growing up on a farm and struggling to be her own person while meeting the expectations of her parents. She has a younger brother named Laird, whom she is often compared to. She spends lots of time helping her father in the barn, even though her mother really wants her in the house doing more feminine chores. The emphasis on girl's vs boy's chores, plays a major role in the story and how the children are treated. Gender roles or stereotypes make writing more interesting and make stories captivating by relating to everyday life allowing the reader to place themselves into the story. Gender roles factor in everyday life and even without knowing how much if effects children, society places the gender labels on everything. Gender roles have become a major influence in households, workplaces, and almost everywhere. The norm for what a male should do and say differs from what a female should do and say. Society has placed these roles on children and adults. Sometimes society places the idea of men's work versus women's work on children without realizing the effects it may have. Age also becomes a contributing factor in jobs, actions, and what language is acceptable. Girls are allowed to do certain jobs until the boys are old enough and vice versa. Munro does a great job illustrating how hard it is to accept and understand gender roles and age specific behaviors. Munro uses character, symbolism, and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 109. Sensei Mady: Do I Do This, Or Not? Sensei Mady Who? "Do I do this, or not?" I questioned myself. This decision could change my life for the better. If I said yes, I would have an enormous responsibility to carry on my shoulders. I couldn't quit midway, I would have to learn loads too. Teaching kids what karate is and what we do in a class isn't a test you can study for. You have to learn by experience, practice, and physical movement. Teaching 6 year old kids' routines and how to kick, punch, and speak Japanese karate words is a lot of work, focus, and patience. 6 year old's have the attention span of a bumble bee! The kids would also have to learn that when I tell them to do something, they need to do it. But, they also need to know I love them, even if they don't like what I tell them to do. I would have to strengthen my body again, learn all the secret tricks, learn the correct ways to handle the bags when we do bag work, and how to correct the kids when they do something wrong. You have to correct them the right way, or they will mess up again and get confused. There is a lot of stress as a karate teacher. Soon, the time came for me to make this life changing choice. A man named John Keats would have very muched enjoyed this line by famous writer Mark Twain. Keats, was a young poet born in England, and his poems are now extremely famous long after his death. Keats became very sick with what modern doctors call tuberculosis, so young Keats went to Rome hoping he would stave off the disease with the Mediterranean air. In the end he succumb to his illness, however I believe he teaches an important lesson with his move. He also asks a very important question surrounding death, what does someone want to do before they die? Personally, before I die I would love to travel to exotic places, start a wonderful family, and put myself in a position to help people by being a part of politics. The first thing I would love to do before I pass away, is visit many different, distant, and exotic lands. Many people that want to travel really don't have it planned out at all, and that's where I differ from many people. My plan is to travel Ireland first and visit its capital, then after that go to England and roam around the west coast ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Many people believe politicians are dirty and only take positions to gain power and abuse it. However, I too am truly sorry." Neither one of the two women knew what to say, Madame Forestier felt absolutely terrible. As walked to my car from work, I kept starring at my phone thinking an answer would appear on the screen. Then I sat in my car contemplating for another fifth teen minutes, which felt extremely short knowing that I needed more time. Out of the blue I heard a voice in my head saying. "Do you really want mom to kill you?" Sadly, due to my non–conformist personality and being the strong minded one of the family, I stumble upon this question quite often. Just like all the other times, I went with my impulse and decided to go for it. On my way there, I was wondering how on earth will I be able to pull this off without my mother's permission and maybe that was why a thirty–minute car ride somehow felt like five. Finally, I pulled my car into a gravel path and hoped for the best as I walked into the building nervously. But as I walked closer to the front desk, I felt a sense of ease and I remembered my whole purpose of being there. Then receptionist asked me, "Can I help you?" and in returned I said "I am here for Pup Pup." This includes ways in which we go about doing our daily activities all the way to how we further ourselves in our career paths. Many people do see knowledge as a benefit, especially for those who are trying to get ahead when it comes to jump starting their careers within certain industries. All careers require a certain amount of knowledge and skill in order to obtain the position. However some do see too much knowledge as something that can hinder you from certain positions. It all depends on how knowledge is applied and how we choose to share that knowledge in order to benefit ourselves as well as others. We go through 12 years of schooling before we reach college. Some may feel as if high school is it for them and they have retained all of the information they need and have learned the proper amount of knowledge needed in order to be successful in life. However, for others, their path in life is different. Some need to further in knowledge in order to have a career in higher paying jobs, for example, if you want to be brain surgeon, I'm pretty sure you cannot obtain a career of that nature just off of a high school diploma. That is definitely common knowledge, of course you're going to need to further your schooling in order to obtain the skills and tools needed in order to be successful in that career path. ...
