INSTITUTE FOR ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT

Institute for Organization Management is the U.S. Chamber's professional development program for chamber, association
and other nonprofit executives. Since 1921, Institute has educated hundreds of thousands of past, current, and future leaders
from across the country, making it one of oldest and best regarded adult education programs in nonprofit management.

Today, Institute's curriculum consists of four, weeklong sessions at five different sites across the country. While onsite,
participants sit through 24 hours of course instruction, on topics such as advocacy, media training, membership, finance, legal
issues human resources, and much more, educating them on all facets of running a nonprofit organization. Participants also
engage in lively discussions on a multitude of matters affecting the chamber and association industries, ultimately helping
them become active business advocates, better serve their members, and build stronger organizations.
