Executive Summary
This report is about the social customs in America, Vietnam and China. Social customs include
actions and behaviors that are expected of a particular culture, and people could learn the particular
culture via its social customs. We introduced four aspects in the report: dining etiquette, gift
presenting etiquette, festival celebration and the wedding process. We tried to represent all three of

these cultures in all of the aspects of the report. The Chinese and Vietnamese cultures are quite
similar in these areas, but these two cultures differ greatly from the American culture. From these
aspects, we can learn how different the American culture, Vietnamese culture and Chinese culture
are. We used primary sources such as an interview, a survey, and our own personal experiences to
form this report. We also used secondary sources such as the Web to help move our research along.
Our goal is to inform our audience of the social customs of these cultures. We tried to show a

Here in Canada the loaves have shrunk and shrunk over time and are more like 12–inches now,
though they're being offered at the same price as before: between $ 2.50 and $ 3.50, depending on
the brand and the store where you buy it.
I do understand that the price of flour has gone up, as has the production cost. But, honestly, those
tiny toast loaves you see in grocery stores now look ridiculous!
Not to mention their consistency, which is more like foam. If you squish a store–bought toast slice,

The Objective is to plan a wedding that will be timely, within budget, memorable and exclusive.
· Since we have identified the need, I need to create an RFP with all the requirements for a wedding
planner and to all suppliers and evaluate the most competitive and sign an agreement.
Assumptions
· The assumptions before taking on this project is that there's a partner and this will be a successful
marriage. The wedding is just the day to prove if the commitment is actually there.
· Another assumption is the working budget will be sufficient with the current rate price of goods,
services and inflation. There will be reviews along the way depending on the cost to estimate ratios.
· We will assume that the approval rate would be quick. We will complete the project on the due
date within the 5 months as planned after the engagement date.

This is a bit of an odd one, which I decided to skip. Marcus is 28 years old, after all – and, as you

Being the physics oriented person I am, I tend to think like an engineer, trying to figure out the best
design for any product. The basis by which we will critique the functionality of the breakfast foods
in question is the ability to hold syrup. When syrup is added into the equation, the waffle clearly
comes out on top considering that the structure was designed with perfectly sized compartments to
hold syrup. Pancakes, on the other hand, end up soaking up all the syrup causing it to lose its
structure and further add to the mushy texture. Yet again, the waffle is found to be superior and will
receive the 2 points.
The waffle, however, comes up short in the category of cost. While the make up of the two foods are
essentially the same, the waffle requires special equipment to prepare. These waffle makers can cost
anywhere from 15 to 100 dollars as opposed to the traditional skillet that can be found in most
households. This financial ease that the pancake allows earns it the 2 points in this section.
Based on the results found by using hedonistic calculus, I have deduced that waffles are far
preferable in my own opinion. The waffle, having received full points in the categories of taste,
texture, and functionality, totaled to a score of 7. The pancake came up short, only receiving the

"Eli get out of bed!!!" My parents yell as I wake with a shudder. I roll over to see that I was
supposed to wake up 20 minutes ago. I bolt out of bed, and grab whatever rests on my floor from the
night before and throw it into a backpack. I sprint into the bathroom, collect everything I need and
go down the stairs so fast that I almost trip and fall. I am greeted with "Why didn't you set your
alarm?" and, "Are you at least ready/" I respond with "I am ready, just hungry" which completely

sister and I are too worried about who gets the spacious, luxurious, back seat of our minivan. Just
like every road trip she claims "You can have the back seat on the way back home" which always
ends up with her being tired and my parents letting her have the back seat to sleep. I just go with it
because I know I won't have to deal with this annoyance when we are all happy and in paradise. We
