2. The main purpose of this project is to “Design and Fabricate an Automated Drilling Machine”
which can cope with present challenges in drilling operation while keeping a constraint on the cost
without compromising with the quality of the operation. The machine is fully automated with
minimal human interference and is operated using a highly sophisticated software programing while
keeping its functioning simple. The machine can be easily operated by any user.
This project is focused on the Design Calculations and the Selection of proper components with
proper material in order to fabricate a 3-Axial Automated Drilling Machine giving optimum output
and having features like a very good user friendly interface to make the drilling operation easy and
accurate. This machine can be used in small industries, workshops and also as a study model in
schools and colleges.
