Romeo and Juliet
Love is an amazing feeling that constantly inspires people to admire it in literature, cinema, music
and other kinds of art. Many literal works are devoted to the description of this overwhelming
feeling and its development. However, there is not much told about various challenges and obstacles
lovers have to come across. Both the "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer and "Romeo and Juliet" by
Shakespeare are great examples of love that is tested by various challenges and complications.
There simply is no more commonly quoted or alluded to dramatist or author in the Western world,
nor a storyteller with more films to his individual credit. He helped to invent the modern English
language and his dramatic corpus engulfs what is universal and ... Show more content on

However, there is serious misunderstanding not only inside the family, but also related with the
social and public institutions. Social importance was of a great value at that time and it restrained all
the other aspects. Public opinion was a great obstacle at that time and Romeo and Juliet had to
preserve their love in spite of it. Romeo and Juliet were totally overwhelmed with love and this
caused them to rebel and protest against all the traditions and stereotypes in spite of the enmity
between their families.
According to Juliet's father opinion it is not Juliet's responsibility to decide whom to give her heart.
Social civility demands dictate this choice and show the priorities despite some personal preferences
and interests. One more obstacle these young lovers have to deal with is religion that dictates certain
standards and rules of appropriate behavior that are inconsistent with the power of their love.
Romeo's emotional maturity is growing, though sometimes he loses his cool and unthinkingly acts.
Although it is difficult to label his suicide in the play's final scene as mature, this final act certainly
demonstrates Romeo's determination and devotion to his bride. He is no longer the wistful and
wishy–washy romantic neophyte of Act I, but a passionate and strong–willed young man, even if he
demonstrates it in a decidedly unproductive way (Lampert, 2008).
Romeo and Juliet have to struggle for their love and their right to love. This fight

Twilight Moms, By Stephenie Meyer 's Twilight Books And...
Living in the United States in 2016, one is familiar with the fandom spurred from Stephenie Meyer's
Twilight books and the subsequent Twilight movies. Twilight Moms, a controversial sector of the
fandom composed of adult female fans, have garnered attention in recent years. One of the most
well–known photographs of Twilight Moms captures the fans' emotions at a 2009 Twilight Event
(Buckner). However, what strikes viewers most is not the emotions of the women, but rather their
age; the subjects of the image are not tweens and teens, but adult women. The visual rhetoric argues
that Twilight's appeal is not exclusive to young adults; it also encompasses older women. The media
claims that Twilight Moms are anti–feminist women who refuse to grow up. However, the media's
biased accusations are simply not true. In all reality, Twilight Moms are a group of women that
relate to Twilight's protagonist and seek bonding experiences with their daughters as well as an
escape from the monotony of everyday life. So what exactly constitutes a Twilight Mom? The term
Twilight Moms was first coined in December of 2007 when Lisa Hansen launched the "Twilight
Moms" MySpace page (Brodesser–akner). According to Hansen, she originally created Twilight
Moms for "married women and mothers;" however, that definition has since changed (Hare). Today,
Twilight Moms is a more inclusive group consisting of any female fan of Twilight beyond her teen
years. Because Twilight Moms are grown women

drug trade. Seemingly right away, the film depicts exactly what can happen when a novice to the
game decides to get their hands dirty to try to make a quick dollar. Walter White, an otherwise
average working class citizen, enters the wild and lawless drug scene and quickly finds himself way
over his head.
There are endless reasons for an individual to get involved with using, dealing, or even making
drugs. Breaking Bad shows early on just how enticing the big money business of drugs can be,
especially for someone under serious financial strain. Walter White finds himself under a great deal
of financial insecurity as he juggles

Media Credibility In Social Media
Surveys indicate that in 2016, most Americans, 62%, used social media to access news (Pew
Research Center, 2016). Nearly 80% of American journalists use social media (Lee, 2015). Social
media has become a source for both creating and obtaining news (Yamamoto, Nah, & Chung, 2017).
As technology changes how people receive news, it also changes how they evaluate credibility (Lee,
2015). Research into media credibility has evolved over the years, a simplified definition of media
credibility might be believability, accuracy, and trustworthiness (Calvo–Porral. Martínez–Fernández,
Juanatey–Boga, 2014). Media credibility focuses on the believability of the news channel. Source
credibility focuses on the senders of the messages (Bucy, 2003).
Several theorists have posited in the evaluation the perception of credibility. The current study aims
to concentrate on methods social media users may develop to evaluate the credibility of the news
they access online as well as how familiarity affects the user's perceptions of credibility. Research
indicates that social media users evaluate credibility based on familiarity with the brand (Calvo–
Porral. Martínez–Fernández, Juanatey–Boga, 2014). In other words, if a social media user is familiar
with The New York Times, they are more likely to trust the news posted on social media if it comes
from the New York Times. Brand familiarity allows social media users to quickly examine logo, site
presentation, and grammar to help them

Exceptionalism In Breaking Bad And Walter White
The protagonist of Breaking Bad is a sympathetic meth cook called Walter White. He decides to
cook and sell enough meth to get money for his family after he is diagnosed with lung cancer.
Before entering this meth world, Walter White was only a high school teacher and he had a pregnant
wife and a partially disabled son. Walter's plan was to manufacture the narcotic and make profits
from addicts that wanted to buy the product. Throughout the television series, White start
rationalizing his worst acts with logic. Overall, White can be described as a man who believes in his
personal exceptionalism. America shares similarities to Walter White. For example, Americans are a
self–justifying sort just like White. In other words, Americans see themselves

Analyzing Vince Gilligan's Breaking Bad
Breaking Bad, created in 2008 by Vince Gilligan, is an incredibly popular television show that
depicts Walter White, a man who after learning he has cancer, transforms from a meek schoolteacher
to a drug kingpin in an effort to leave money for his family. Viewer response has been especially
strong for this show, especially in reference to Walter's wife, Skyler, who has many fan pages
dedicated to hating her. By using Annette Kuhn's feminist theory of film studies, this paper will
attempt to explain the mass hatred that surrounds Skyler. Kuhn's theory states that images shown
through mass media, especially those of film and television, do not have meanings in and of
themselves, but rather the meaning is "circulated between representation, spectator and social
formation" (Kuhn 43). Kuhn cites representation, the meaning that the image is given in its creation,
as the source of much strife for women, as it often creates a vision of femininity that is ... Show

Since the show is centered on Walter and his transformation, it "rarely evinces any curiosity about
Skyler's inner life, apart from how it affects Walt" (Bowie). Since the show does not allow Skyler to
have a fully fleshed out character, it becomes impossible for the audience to sympathize with her.
Furthermore, although Breaking Bad explores deep moral dilemmas within its characters,
demanding the audience to question where the line of right and wrong is drawn, this kind of agency
is only given to the male characters (Bowie). Thus, due to this representation, the audience judges
Skyler by a different moral standard than they judge Walter (Gunn). However, Skyler still remains a
much more complex character than is regularly seen on television, since usually representations of
"strong women" are "one–dimensional, unrealistic clichés" (Truitt), and so she is thus a positive
representation of a

Shipbreaking
According to the Gujarat Maritime Board, there were approximate 230 workers who have died at
Alang, the reputation ship–breaking yard in India. The Bangladeshi media announced that over 400
workers have killed and 6000 seriously injured which were data that have been reported over the last
20 years in the shipbreaking industry. Working in the ship breaking yards is an extremely dangerous
job, which involves a lot of serious injuries and even death in this industry in South Asia: India,
Pakistan, and Bangladesh in every year. Despite perceived dangerous, why people still have worked

The level of pollution was really terrible which Greenpeace, an environmental organization, stated: "
Alang was powerfully poisonous, particularly for the laborers who worked, ate, and slept at dirt

emaciated men moved through soot and heavy smoke", " the noise was deafening", "the heat was so
intense", " the workers' clothes were black with carbon as well their hair and their skin." In
additional, occupational health and safety regulations is totally lacking which lead to many serious
injuries and deaths in each year in ship breaking yards. Laborers have worked in the yards without
using any protective equipment such as uniforms, masks, boots and goggles: " The men working
closet to the fire tried to protect themselves by wrapping thick rags around their mouths and legs."
(Inside the rerolling mill in Bhavnagar) The lacking of safety standards also existed at another ship
breaking yard at Chittagong in Bangladesh: " labor and safety regulations are utterly lacking, so a
ship breaker can send a thousand barefoot men to tear apart a single vessel and scrap even a
supertanker in six months." Actually, shipbreaking industry involves with cranes, modern and heavy

Merchant Shipping Activities Remain The Pillar Of Global...
1. Introduction
According to the OECD (2012) merchant shipping activities remain the pillar of global trade, with
more than 80% of international cargo transported via sea. Throughout history, maritime activities
have played a vital role in shaping the world, from fishing, to the transport of people during the age
of discovery, as well as global trade. With world trade growth being the core driving force behind
maritime trade, other factors include; institutional and technological factors, freedom of trade, as
well as China's participation in the global economy (World Ocean Review n.d.). As shipping is a
derived demand, developments in maritime transport are thus shaped by global macroeconomic
trends. The biggest problem in shipping is the ability to forecast long term freight rates, and current
tools such as generalized autoagressive conditional heteroskedasticity (GARCH) are often aimed at
short term correlation. GARCH is an approach which helps describe market volatility (Investopedia
n.d.). Freight rates essentially drive the shipping industry in terms of fleet size, and are often a good
indication of the strength or weakness of the shipping market. The volatile state of the current
market means the accurate need for forecasting and keeping up to date with trends is imperative.
This report aims to provide an overview of current trends in merchant shipping.

Although the industry is beneficial from a life–cycle assessment point of view, over the years it has
gravitated toward countries with low labor costs, weak regulations on occupational safety, and
limited environmental enforcement. The "global shift" in the industry to countries with
comparatively weaker regulatory systems is of particular concern as ships contain many hazards that
can have significant detrimental effects on humans and the environment if not dealt with properly.
Currently, the global center of the ship breaking and recycling industry is located in South Asia,
specifically Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan. These three countries account for 70–80 percent of the
international market for ship breaking of ocean–going vessels, with China and Turkey accounting
for most of the rest. Only about 5 percent of the global volume of such vessels is scrapped outside
these five countries.
This study focuses on the SBRI in Bangladesh and Pakistan to get a better understanding of the
economics of the industry and the environmental impacts arising out of such activity and to explore
possible ways in which such environmental effects may be mitigated.

The Ending At A Very Good Series Written By Stephanie Meyer
"And then we continued blissfully into this small but perfect piece of our forever." The ending to a
very good series written by Stephanie Meyer the last words of Breaking Dawn. The book has three
parts; book one is Bella's point of view, Book two is Jacobs account then book three back to Bella.
The first section is about Bella's wedding and honeymoon. The second is how Jacob loves Bella but
cannot have her. The last section is Bella's fear for losing her family. The important parts from
Breaking Dawn of the story will be told from the way Stephanie Meyer. The first book starts as any
good love story series should end with the wedding. Bella was not fond of getting married until she
saw Edward at the pulpit waiting for her. The wedding was spectacular. The wedding guest all
showed and then Jacob came to surprise the bride with a dance. Bella and Jacob began to talk about
the after math of her marring a vampire. The talk of having a 'real honeymoon' made Jacob upset
and the start of a small debacle between Jacob and Edward. Jacob feared that should he try to have
sex with Bella that it would kill her. The reception party did not see the spat and things moved on as
Bella was surprised with the destination of her honeymoon. From a plane ride to a drive to a boat
ride; Edward took Bella to an island. Where they started their honeymoon. Bella entered the

Benefits Of Recycling
Save The Planet, Make Money And Teach Your Kids Valuable Lessons: Make Scrap Metal
Recycling A Family Affair
Especially over the summer, when your kids might complain they're always bored, getting into
recycling can be an amazing family affair. There are ways in which you can make this venture
profitable, all while teaching your children some invaluable economic, scientific and industrial
lessons – not to mention the good you'll all be doing for good old Mother Earth. It's easier than you
might think and it will be so worth your time.
The Environmental Benefits Of Recycling Scrap
Whether you adhere to the notion that global warming is real or not, there's no denying the limited
resources dwindling all around the globe. Trees, potable water and other invaluable necessities are
becoming shorter in supply, with no natural means of replenishment. Anything your family can
reuse or recycle helps, but when it comes to scrap metal, there are numerous ways in which putting
it back into the manufacturing cycle is good for the planet:
You keep the metal out of landfills, many of which are already over flowing. Recycling metal saves
the resources that would have been used in creating new metal. Using scrap metal instead of new
iron can help fight air and water pollution, along with reducing waste. Recycling electronics keeps
toxic materials from polluting landfills. The metal you recycle today may very well be used to
manufacture things for your children,

The Perfect Storm by Sebastian Junger
This book is arranged into ten different chapters, each containing the main idea in each chapter. In
the beginning of the book the author gives a foreword which briefly gives a vision of The Perfect
Storm. The author Sebastian Junger wants his book to be completely factual, no dialogue is made
up. The direct quotes are recorded from an interview. At the end of the foreword Sebastian states
that he used the title The Perfect Storm in a climatic sense, he meant no scorn or insult to those who
had their family members pass away. 1. The first chapter is the beginning of the book and gives a
little background information of the crew. First in 1895 a crew and its ship, mackerel schooner find
a bottle with a note in it. They find the bottle off the coast of Massachusetts from a crew member of
a ship called Falcon which had sunk. In the note the crew member had wrote "Our cable is Gone..
Our rudder is gone... God have mercy". If the rudder and cable were gone this means that the ship
was tipping on its side. These were the last words of the twenty men aboard the Falcon.
In the first chapter being in all italics I believe that the author wanted to show a dream or a certain
memory. The author brings up questions on how a crew acts on a sinking ship or if they cry while
sinking, which will be answered throughout the book.
2. In the second chapter the author gives more background details. The author tells the time, city and
the weather. Its a rainy day in Gloucester, Massachusetts

Breaking Bad and Walter White Essay
Breaking Bad is a TV show about a science instructor, Walter White, turning to cooking
methamphetamine when he finds out that he has terminal cancer, so as to leave some legacy for his
family. The show accompanies Walter as he changes from a compliant and empathetic father to a
cold, merciless drug kingpin through the wrong decisions he makes in life. Vince Gilligan made the
show with a dream of having the hero turn into the adversary as the show advances and to
investigate the subject "actions have consequences." In giving Bryan Cranston a part as Walter
White, Gilligan picked a performing artist whose livelihood bend dovetails uncannily with his
character. As Walt changes from such a family man himself into a force eager executioner, ... Show

On some level he knows he can't control others, and that learning fills his edginess. In "The Fly,"
Breaking Bad's most clearly ruminative scene, Walt miracles provided that he can uncover a way out
of the profound mess he's in. "I truly believe there exists some combination of words," he tells Jesse.
"There must exist certain words in a certain specific order that would explain all of this. I just can't
ever seem to find them." Walt imagines that provided that he can uncover a succession of
expressions as flawlessly requested as the gem designs he uncovered in graduate school, he can
legitimize all his movements to Skyler and repair his broken family – maybe much adjust the
unalterable wrongs he has done. However Nietzsche's cautioning about dialect rings a bell again:
expressions can't catch what we without a doubt feel, and we can't control how others will hear even
the most. So it is suitable for that composition, when it's all said and done, appears as if it will
exhibit Walt's defeat. The focus when last we saw him, in the scene "Gliding Over All," Hank was
using the restroom sitting on the toilet, finding Walt's replica of Whitman's Leaves of Grass. Five
years after the fact of looking for, the reaction to the mystery of the blue meth falls right into Hank's
lap: he opens the book and examines an etching that joins Walt with Heisenberg. "Gliding Over

Feminine Traits Alone Aren 't Enough Make A Feminist Role...
Feminine traits alone aren't enough make you a feminist role model either. This idea is made clear
by author Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Saga. Throughout the books, Bella Swan is a
17 year old girl who is moving in with her father, out of town. She soon meets the Cullen family,
realizes they are vampires, and eventually becomes devoted to one of the males, Edward. During the
course of the series, Bella is overly emotional about a variety of things, most of the time she is
considered to be overreacting. It is clear that Bella needs help with almost everything she does, she
even comes off as the damsel in distress in most of the series. While these characteristics are
considered feminine, it still doesn't make Bella a true ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Bella responds with "'Mostly I dream about being with you forever'" (Meyers, Twilight 498). She
says this to try to tell Edward that she is willing to risk anything, even her own life to be with him.
Bella won't listen to Edward despite him trying to convince her she is overreacting.
Ever since the beginning of Bella and Edward's relationship the two are almost inseparable, which is
why when he decides to end their relationship and leave in the second book, Bella becomes insane.
She stares outside for hours on end, and refuses to go anywhere or hang out with her friends. Bella's
dad confronts her about her behavior saying, "'you're just... lifeless Bella'" (Meyers, New Moon 95).
Clearly, she is overreacting, however she is truly fitting the role of a basic "clingy girlfriend". While
emotion is considered a female trait, a lot of people believe that all females overreact to everything,
which is exactly what Bella is doing by the way she reacts when Edward breaks up with her. Bella is
not good feminist role model because of her overreactions.
In addition to her overreactions, Bella is also excessively vulnerable. It seems as though Bella can't
do anything without needing help from someone. For example, in the first book, she can't seem to
move herself out of the way of an oncoming car, in fact, Edward who is quite a distance away has to
rush over to save her. Bella is standing next to her truck when she notices a car coming at her, "I was

Analysis Of ' How A Woman Can Get Hurt ' By Jean Kilbourne
"Two Ways a Woman Can Get Hurt", an article by Jean Kilbourne bitterly rags on sex in
advertisement. It goes into detail to describe how companies have become increasingly more likely
to sell sex in advertisements for products that, in reality, are entirely unrelated. Kilbourne focuses
primarily on how this is harmful to society– especially women and children and how they are
viewed by men, though men may also be targeted if not nearly as frequently. In a similar article
called "Taking a Bite Out of Twilight", Carmen D. Siering shares her disapproval of the popular
novel adored by so many: Twilight. Represented by the iconic red apple held in a women's palm
with a sinister black backdrop, Twilight is a modern fairytale where the prince belongs to a
monstrous society of blood–sucking models, and the princess is your average, plain–Jane highschool
girl with a knack for getting into trouble. Siering's opinion is most basically this: Bella is objectified
and downgraded in the Twilight series; a character created solely to compliment the plot propelled
by male characters. Where the majority of the population sees an aching, beautiful and dangerous
romance, Siering sees a controlling relationship and a dull female lead. Kilbourne's article brings to
light how Siering's article, directed at Stephenie Meyer's readers, is so accurate with the the
recommendation that everyone become more aware of the messages they are absorbing from media
as it snakes its way into society's

The Pros And Cons Of TV Shows
When you ask people about their hobbies, many of them say something like, "I enjoy reading books
and listening to music," or "I like to watch movies." Watching movies–or, rather, TV shows–has
indeed become an extremely popular activity, especially in countries where there is access to Netflix
or other similar services. This popularity is easy to explain: TV shows often offer products much
more diverse, intriguing, and non–standard than conventional films. Shows such as "True
Detective," "Game of Thrones," "House M.D." and many others have proved that such format is
definitely not inferior to regular movies; on the contrary, it can be superior to them at times. And,

The Role of the Holy Fool in the Context of Danish Cinema
Introduction
In Christian folklore, the holy fool is an archetypal figure that stands apart from society, elevated to
a transcendent status based on his or her piety. Holy fools flout social norms, and are thus unable to
be properly accommodated in their respective societies. With their position of outsider, holy fools
are ideally suited to critique mainstream ideas and practices, acting as a narrative device to provide
commentary on the world. Holy fools exist in a separate sphere from "regular" fools due to their
associations with Christ figures. Christian tradition speaks of many famous holy fools, from
nameless monks who give up all of their worldly possessions to become closer to Jesus, to
characters of Biblical renown, such as Saint Paul (Thomas 2009: 204). The depiction of a holy fool
is undoubtedly influenced by the religious climate of a society. Traditionally, holy fools have been
part of Roman Catholic and Orthodox faiths, where saints have traditionally been revered for their
ability to follow God in the most extreme fashion so that they appear foolish to the majority of
society that is less in tune with God's wishes. In Denmark, Protestant traditions dominate the
religious landscape, so the depiction of the holy fool must be adjusted accordingly.
In order to understand the role of the holy fool in the context of Danish cinema, it is first necessary
to look at the role of religion in Danish society. Starting in 1536, Denmark has transitioned into a

A Short Story : A Story?
A small floating island, all around a blue night sky is illuminated by the moon. The city on top, as
quiet as a mouse. A small person running through one of the many alleyways, he stops, petrified. A
large being concealed by shadows, barely visible. I stopped, assuming the worst, but as it stepped
away from the darkness, I realized it was only my friend, Jonathan. After an exciting session of
angered whispers, I told him the reason I was there. "I was heading down to West Side to talk to
Uncle Isaiah about the Sky Ship."
Two Hours Later
"Who is it? Hello?" Uncle Isaiah said, annoyed by the knock on his door. "It's me!" I said, to which
he responded, "I don't quite recall anyone named me, for the past, well, forever." "Ugh, I mean it's
Sam." After a moment, he responded a loud "How are you?" in a few seconds of consideration, due
to the shock I had received from my friend, I replied "I'm good, though I'm starting to think going
out at night isn't the best of ideas I have ever had." "Maybe you can try again when your older?
None the less, what's the real reason you came here?" I simply replied, "When will I get my Sky
ship?" "In due time Sam, in due time."
Three months later
Christmas, the only time of the year when I am actually happy outside, we get so much snow up
here it is insane; then again, we are on a floating island! As I travelled from my mother's house to
my uncles', I remembered what had happened on this journey 6 years ago, when I was only 10, "Yes
I know, but we can't afford that right now Sam, we are struggling even to keep the house!" "But
when can we get it? I really want one!" "The Sky ship or the cat? Hahaha" "You know I meant the
Sky ship, we already have a cat!" "I told you, in a few years I will have the house paid off and
everything and we can get you one, but why do you even want one of your own? They are so
expensive and you won't be able to use it until your 16." "I'll tell you in a second dad, I just saw 20

Descriptive Essay About Love
Thank You, Emmeline
One late morning in 1914, I leaned against the newly painted silver railings of the large Majestic, a
beautiful ship with a black bottom and a bright white top. Murky, charcoal–black smoke came out of
the three enormous, grey, cylinder–shaped chimneys, which began combining with the fresh sea air.
The thunderous boat horn was then suddenly blasted, interrupting the beautiful, calming noises of
the sea. I heard the screeches of the white seagulls choke as they flied through the tenebrous smoke.
I took a deep breath of the crisp air, and held onto the cool railings. With my eyes focusing on the
horizon where the sky meets the sea, I noticed how the soft, shimmering sun bleed through the dark
white clouds, pouring ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

admire her leadership and her strong, passionate personality. "My," a familiar voice spoke behind
me, "the sky is quite beautiful today, Katherine." I turned to my left to see one of my dearest friends,
Emmeline Pankhurst. She gazed up upon the shining sun. She wore a long, tattered black jacket with
a white turtleneck sweater and a long, brown velvet skirt. I, on the other hand, wore a long grey
dress and a warm, loose cardigan. "Yes, it sure is." There was a moment of a peaceful silence as we
both focused on the sky. "I believe we are quite close to Plymouth," Emmeline said breaking my
peaceful concentration on the sky. Her short, curly, dark brown hair bounced with her head. "We
should be docking this ship in the next few hours." "Well, that is great news," I said relieved. "I am
tired of being on this boat." The two days I spent on this ship felt like two weeks to me. I get seasick
quite often. It has been pure misery on this ship with the constant headaches and the queasiness.
"Yep," Emmeline replied with a loud voice. "Hope Plymouth will be better. Maybe people might
listen to our protests." Her face gleamed with hope. "Yeah," I sighed with doubt. I leaned against the
railing of the boat and gazed down at

Maritime Compass Llc Essay
1. How much is the Bet Performer worth based on comparable transactions? What ship is the best
reference transaction? (the closest comparable)? Comparable transaction is a conventional method
of evaluating the value of something that is ready for sale. To value a ship, one had to identify a set
of "comparable" ships where comparability was based on four main factors: ship type, size (DWT),
age, and condition. The Bet Performer was a 11 year old ship, built in 1997, 172,000 DWT capsize
bulk carrier. From the Exhibit 4, there are five ships which are the most comparable to Bet
Performer. They are Martha Verity, Ingenious, Sumihou, Cape Sun, and Coppersmith. These ships
all have the most similar characteristics, in terms of ship type, ... Show more content on

This is logical because, larger the ships, more load could they carry, and thus make higher profits, so
are priced higher. Relationship between Age and Ship Price: From the regression, we find that as the
ship ages by one year, the price of the ship drops by $ 4.54 mln. This makes sense because as with
any other vehicle or asset, the efficiency of the ship drops with age. As it gets older, the carrying
value of the ship lowers due to depreciation. Relationship between Charter rates and Ship Price:
With one point increase in the Capesize ship index, there is a slight increase in the price of the ship
by $0.007 mln. The Capesize ships took like a year to build, and are good for 25 years, after which
they are demolished and sold for scrap. The economics of this "ship breaking" differed by ship size
and type category. So higher this index, higher is the price of the ship. b. Can you think of other
factors that might predict ship prices? Apart from the 4 factors ship type, DWT, ship age and gears,
there are a couple of other factors which affect the ship price. They are Type of main engine,
Confirmed time charter contracts with creditworthy counter parties Loading equipment (cranes and
derricks) Shipyard (original builder) Location (where the ship was at the time of sale) All these
affected the price of the ship, and hence can be used to

Breaking Bad is the Single Dominating Modern-day...
When it comes to shows on television today, many of the series that air aren't anything to go crazy
over, yet this definitely isn't the case for creator Vince Gilligan's, "Breaking Bad." "Breaking Bad"
follows the life of Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston), an ordinary high school chemistry
teacher. With a loving wife and teenage son at home, over time, Walter has formed an exceedingly
mundane routine for his life. After soon discovering that he had been diagnosed with inoperable
lung cancer, Walter decided to take extreme measures in order to secure his family financially: he
would descend into a world so dark and so utterly twisted, that it would eventually consume him.
Walter White became Heisenberg; the greatest drug lord the ... Show more content on

From "Outstanding Lead Actor" to "Outstanding Supporting Actress" the dozens of awards the
series' crew was able to wrack up serves as a clear indicator that Vince Gilligan did a noteworthy job
of selecting a first–rate line of actors and actresses. By doing so, he was able to successfully execute
the vision he sought out for "Breaking Bad." As viewers watch addicting episode after addicting
episode, the show progresses to straddle a line of reality and, "Is that really happening?" With
countless events occurring within the series that appear to be too grotesque or twisted to even be
possible, viewers must keep in mind that many of the tactful operations "Breaking Bad's"
protagonist executed were backed with science. In aims to retain a factor of realistic science
throughout the series, Gilligan employed several science advisers. These advisers aided writers in
implementing accurate scientific terminology in their scripts, assisted set builders in creating
functional laboratories for meth cooking, and guided Gilligan as he built his storyline to weasel
Walter and Jesse out of trouble by utilizing science. Although some scenes had a tendency to
exaggerate the discipline for dramatic purposes, a baseline of science is always discernible.
"Breaking Bad's" ability to exploit the field of science by dissolving human bodies in acid, inducing
unexplainable death through ricin administration, and employing phosphine gas to kill off drug
dealers, are realistic

The Twilight Sag Teenage, Vampire, Romance
Twilight Saga: Teenage, Vampire, Romance The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Myer created a massive
fan following that grew into a supernatural franchise. The story of Bella and Edward was in the
hands of countless teenagers and adults alike, captivating audiences with the classic story of young
love, but with a vampire twist. The books were published starting when I was a young teenager, and
I was not immune to the charms of a sparkly vampire fighting his desire for love for the sake of her
safety. I religious read all four books, a few times, until the hard covers cracked at the edges, and the
open books fell open to my favorite parts from being opened for so long. After the books created a
sensation, a movie series was created. In a non–surprising fashion, the movies were popular, but as
any book lover will tell you about any movie made after a book, the book was better, way better.
Reading the story at the time, I ignored critics of the book, swearing by its love story and defending
the text as it stood in my world. Re–reading this book as an adult who has continued to read, I came
to the realizations that my tastes have evolved over time. I still enjoyed the story during my re–read
this past time, but the writing was not as striking; gone was the passion and addiction so deep I
could not set the books down. The first time I read Breaking Dawn, I read it straight it twelve hours
not stopping for anything. I read from 7pm until 7am, this month reading Twilight, was nowhere

Ocean Carriers Case Report Essay
Ocean Carriers Case Report Executive Summary Ocean Carriers is evaluating a proposed lease for a
ship over three years starting in 2003. Currently, Ocean Carriers does not have any ships that are
available to meet this customer demand. This report will assist VP of Finance Mary Lynn to make a
decision on whether or not to commission a new carrier and how long to hold on to this asset. Based
off a financial analysis using the data Ocean Carriers has provided, the final recommendation is that
Ocean Carriers should build a new ship out of its Hong Kong base where the tax rate is 0% and
scrap the ship when it is 25 years old. Following this recommendation would be the only scenario
where Ocean Carriers sees a positive net present value ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If the carrier is sold after 15 years, the after–tax scrap value will be $4,367,728. This value was
found by taking the known scrap value at year 15 of $5,000,000 and using the inflation rate to
determine the scrap value in year 25. With this, the net present value for Ocean Carriers after 25
years will be –$6,872,291. Scenario 1B: Purchase carrier at 0% tax rate. If the boat were to be
commissioned in Hong Kong, where there is 0% corporate income tax, the value of the scrap would
become $6,719,582 and the NPV after 25 years will be $977,267. Both scenarios are summarized in
Table 1. Since scenario 1 has a negative NPV, we recommend Ocean Carriers to not invest if there is
a 35% tax rate in the US. In scenario 2, where the ship is built in HK with a 0% tax rate, then we
recommend that Ocean Carrier invest in the ship. This analysis shows that working the ship at a
35% tax rate will not yield a profit on the investment even 25 years into the future, given the
increasing costs of survey preparation and the diminishing number of days that the ship is actually
able to make money and be commissioned. Scenario 2: Operate carrier for 15 years and scrap or
sell. Scenario 2A: Operate carrier for 15 years and scrap. Assume a 0% tax rate. Based on a PV
analysis where the ship is decommissioned at year

Why Are Spin Offs Usually Terrible?
Why are spin offs typically terrible? The word itself has a negative connotation, epitomizing our
notion of "too much of a good thing is in fact bad." Everyone loved "Friends", certainly, "Joey" will
be a huge hit. Perhaps we feel that bit of nostalgia that brings back good memories of the original
show, but for the most time we are left with the feeling that something is just a bit off, and it makes
us uncomfortable. Just like your father cannot relive the glory days of his college years when he

gags, gimmicks, and plotlines from the previous show in their spin off. So rightfully, you could

We fantasize at the thought of changing everything about ourselves and taking on a new life, but
fear leaving that old life behind. Gilligan created that scenario for us in "Breaking Bad", and we
couldn't help but watch. "Better Call Saul" follows this theme of ambiguous identity, however in a
much different way. Unlike "Breaking Bad", we are not troubled with predicting the final fate of the
main character; we learn in the first episode that Saul Goodman is really Jimmy McGill, who will
finally become the timid and terrified Cinnabon manager who goes by the name "Gene." It took
years to witness the full identity transformation of Walt to Heisenberg, and right in the first episode,
we find our main character with three separate identities. Who is this man, and what absurd
circumstances bring him to his deplorable end as a lowly mall manager?
There is no shortage of unanswered questions left for the audience following the first few episodes,
leaving us desperate to quench our knowledge. The mystery and intrigue in "Breaking Bad" does not
match that of "Better Call Saul", which smartly employs flashbacks that reveal tidbits of information
or foreshadow future events, giving the audience an intimate look into the life of the future Saul
Goodman. With the timeline of Jimmy's life revealed slowly throughout the season, what is clear
from the beginning is that Jimmy is

Joseph Conrad once said, "It is the mark of an inexperienced man not to believe in luck". Nailer, the

has suffered through various unfortunate events. However, with a strong belief of luck and having

Essay On Ransom On The High Seas
Ransom on the High Seas: The case of Piracy in Somalia
The pirates in the coast of Somalia came to activity at the start of 2003. The main reason that
provoked local Somalis to start attacking foreign cargo ships was the civil war that broke out in
1991. The Somali Civil War leads to an unstable government that lacked on authority, leadership
and control to stop the rising attacks between local groups. From there, Somalia went on downhill;
its population decreased over two thirds from 1991 to 2011 and by 2008, the United Nations
estimated that nearly 3.2 million Somalis were dependent on food aid for survival. These pirates had
nothing to live fro before attacking the ships.

As we can see this is clearly not the best option for ISC to take, as there are not any advantages at all
from it. Another factor that we have to take into consideration if the negotiation is not carried out is
the mere fact that ISC does not have any insurance against pirates on the ship that has been
captured, placing them in a very delicate situation.
Another possible idea that Martin had was to negotiate using the force. As I have just mentioned
before, dealing with pirates is a very delicate situation and any drastic move can lead to the death of
the hostages. If the negotiation does not go as well as ISC would like to, they could apply the force
from different sources (military, government or private) and solve this problem. Nevertheless, if this
plan does not work out to perfection, the pirates will discover this threat and kill the hostages as a
message to future negotiations (you have to remember they have nothing to loose whilst you have
millions of dollars in hands).
In addition, Martin's third option involved the U.S. Navy Ship that was fast approaching Odyssey
(ISC ship captured by the pirates) to rescue the three American crewmembers that were held
hostage. The highly trained

The Success of Stephanie Meyer Essay
"I'd never given much thought to how I would die, but dying in the place of someone I love seems
like a good way to go." Those are the famous words that started it all, The Twilight Saga
Phenomenon. The Twilight Saga consists of four novels: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and
Breaking Dawn. Stephanie Meyer, author of the popular saga, majored in English literature at
Brigham Young University. After graduating in 1997, Meyer chose to be a stay–at–home mother to
her three sons. The concept of the whole saga came to her in a dream one night. When she woke up,
she took a pen and paper and documented everything that occurred in her dream. She then based all
four novels on that dream because she had a gut feeling that it was going to make a great ... Show

No one besides her sister knew that she was writing a novel, little known at the time, but the
masterpiece known as Twilight. Since Meyer is a mother of three, and is busy with her kids' needs
and wants all day, she would take time late at night to work on writing her novel. And in three short
months, she completed Twilight, regardless of her insignificant amount of experience in writing. In
all four works, Bella Swan in the protagonist. The story is centered around her life. All four books
are written in her perspective. Meyer usually tends to write all her stories as first person narratives,
including books that are not related to the Twilight Saga like The Host. When Meyer writes, she
becomes completely engrossed in the characters. The main reason why she writes is because of the
characters she creates. She envisions them in her brain. She talks to them all day, and they talk back.
Coming up with the perfect names for the two main characters was a very tough process. She
wanted a name that was popular decades ago, but at the same time, she wanted a name that was
romantic for the vampire. Since Meyer grew up reading Charlotte Bronte and Jane Austen, she used
the characters Mr. Ferrars and Mr. Rochester from their works as an inspiration; thus leading her to
choose the name Edward. After coming up with the names for the twosome, and was still in the
process of creating their story, they would constantly talk to her. She heard their voices all day, so

A Hovercraft Is An Air Vehicle
INTRODUCTION
A hovercraft is an air vehicle, or ACV, is a craft capable of travelling over Land, water, on the ice ,
soil or other surfaces, both travel Speed and stop.
Transporting vehicle also called a hovercraft, that rides slightly above the Earth 's surface on a
cushion of air. The air is continuously forced under the vehicle by a fan which generates the cushion
that greatly reduces friction between the moving vehicle and the surface.
The air is usually delivered through ducts and injected at Periphery of the vehicle in a downward ,
inward direction. This has been due to various reasons. The inability to control and maneuver
minute maintenance and noise levels are relatively high compared with the car hard enough to
overcome to keep the car and the air cushion in the margins of modern transportation. It also came
along more than fifty years after the accepted standard cars as a means of transport in many guises,
cars, trucks, recreational vehicles and so forth.

Impact Of Piracy On International Trade Essay
With the majority of Earth's surface covered by water, the most efficient and cost effective way to
transport goods is across that water in ships, due to buoyancy. Ships allow for massive amounts of
goods to be transported at once, but these slow, cargo laden ships pose an attractive target to thieves.
Piracy causes costly disturbances and dangers that lead to billions of dollars in losses because of
captured ships, loss of goods, and the ransoming of the crew. Because of the impact of piracy on the
profits and safety of maritime transport companies, several measures have been taken to prevent the
capturing of vessels or discourage the pirates wanting to attack the vessel. Efforts to create new
technology to prevent pirate boarding and security have developed several methods to deal with
attacks. The goal of making the vessels more difficult to attack and too dangerous to steal from, has
been the focal point of the research and development. The UN has endeavored to solve the effects
that piracy caused on international trade, but at the cost not addressing the problems that the piracy
originated from. The current merchant marine efforts to deter and defend against piracy have been
effective in dropping the levels of raids in recent years.
Article 101 of the United Nations convention on the Law of the Sea defines Piracy as "any illegal
acts of violence or detention, or any act of depredation, committed for private ends by the crew or

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Social Media
Society relies on information that they obtain from the news, media, social media sites to gather the

of finding out current events or situations that are occurring around the world. People are now able
to get news faster then what they have a century ago. There's social media sites like Facebook, there

In social media, there are advantages and disadvantages of social media. One advantage is where
you are starting a small business and you want to get your name and product out there to people.
You can take pictures and post it to the Facebook where it can be seen by thousands of potential
clients. This can be done for all free. Another advantage is that you can access news fast by looking
on social media. Now comes the disadvantages. You start a small business and you have already
posted your product out there. You have old friends that you had a falling out with. They can post
negative comments or reviews about your business just because they don't like you. This can really
alter your business before it even gets started. That is what we call inaccurate reviews. I see it all the
time where a business has negative reviews that I know aren't true all because of someone posting
negative things to be funny or just because they don't like you as a person. Or it could be a
competitor making false reviews to hurt your business to make a gain on theirs.
A person can be altered by the advantages and disadvantages of social media. A person may not join

business successful not hurt it. It could cause them to pursue a different method of getting their
business out there. If a person believes they can advantage from social media then they

Television Series Named Breaking Bad Essay
In 2008, AMC showcased a hit television series named Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad follows a
protagonist Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher (who lives with his wife, Skyler and their
teenage son who has cerebral palsy) who is diagnosed with inoperable cancer, and turns to
manufacturing and selling methamphetamine in order to secure his family's future (Breaking Bad).
Although on the surface Walter White is depicted as a good guy turned bad, in actuality the
character is truly embracing his deviant subconscious self. Walter White can reasonably be deemed
as an immoral character due to the fact that his criminal behavior was instinctual, he continuously
justifies his decisions, and he displays an insatiable desire to commit unlawful acts.
In the beginning, it is fairly certain that he starts manufacturing and selling methamphetamine to
secure his family's long term financial security. But as his work progresses, his infamy grows. The
pseudonym Heisenberg he picks for himself slowly begins to take on a life of its own. Unlike
Walter, Heisenberg is self–assured and confident. He is able to hold his own against aggressive and
psychologically unstable drug dealers, and he only grows stronger as the series advances. Walter
White's long dormant pride and ego start to awaken as the series deepens. The more he taps into his
alter ego, the more he shows his true colors. Therefore, throughout the show, it is evident that he is
imploring his natural instincts. It comes so

Breaking Bad Research Papers
I have developed an endless runner game for smartphones and tablets based on the hit television
show, Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad tells the story of Walter White, an ordinary chemistry teacher
who finds out that he has cancer and Jesse Pinkman, a local street gangster who befriends Walter.
Both Walter and Jesse decides to produce methamphetamine in order for Walter to pay for his
medical bills and support his family. With the added advantage of Walter's knowledge in chemistry,
their product takes off and they both turn to a life of crime and encounter dangerous events that
changes their lives forever. They come across various psychopaths. A mad drug lord named Tuco
Salamanca, a no–nonsense authoritarian like meth distributor called Gustavo Fring and a white
supremacist gang. As Walter White gets into various criminal activities, he puts his life and his
family's life in danger.
My concept for the game is a platform–based endless runner for smartphones and tablets, not to be
confused for an endless runner in the third person perspective. The game will have the two main
characters playable at the start, Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. As one progresses in game, they
will be able to unlock other characters such as Walter's brother in law Hank, Gustavo Fring, the
iconic RV from the show, Heisenberg (Walt's clandestine alias) and Saul Goodman, their lawyer
who uses unorthodox ways to get Walt and Jesse out of legal trouble. The reason I decided to make

Analysis Of Stephenie Meyer 's ' The Twilight Saga '
Stephenie Meyer is a well known author of the most popular fiction vampire romance novels. She is
a young writer and wrote her first series of four books called the Twilight Saga, which has become
one of the most popular books and movies in the world. Stephenie was born on December 24, 1973
in Hartford, Connecticut (Newsmakers). Her parents were Stephen and Candy Morgan, an executive
at a contracting firm and house–wife. They had a total of six children: Seth, Emily, Jacob, Paul,
Heidi, and Stephenie being the second oldest. Being one of the eldest siblings along with her sister
taught her much about how to be responsible (The Official Website of Stephenie Meyer). Her
parents were very religious and passed down their beliefs to their children. They were Mormons that
attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter–day Saints (LDS). Due to their religion, she and
siblings were brought up in a strict way, which she has stated, has provided her with a care–free and
safe environment (USA Today). Growing up, Stephenie's parents would read their children adult
novels such as The Sword of Shannara and Gone with the Wind as bedtime stories. They would read
up to an anticipating moment in the story, stop, then tell their children it was time for bed. Curious
to know what was going to happen next, Stephenie would sneak the book out during the day and
read from where they left off. She did not know that she was reading well beyond her age of a
second–grader. When her parents would

Impacts Of Recycling
Recycling is helping the environment by eliminating waste. Recycling is taking old metal or paper
and taking it to a foundry . Giving it back to them to make new products with to save the natural
resource that it would take to make it from scratch. If the metal companies had to take and mine for
the ore that it takes to make metal they would be hurting the environment a lot worse than what they
would by using recycled goods. Recycling metal also helps us the consumer save on the natural
resources that we may need later on in life. The best thing about metal are that it will never lose its
structural value no matter how many time the consumer recycles it (Green Tumble.) Recycled
aluminum can travel around the world four times and still save more energy than what it would to
mine for ore (Less Is More).
Metal production is a very long and energy consuming process. If we don't recycle and use the
materials that we already have then they have to mine for the ore (GLE Scrap). If the companies
have to mine for the iron ore that it takes to make the metal they have to go in and cut down acres of
trees (GLE Scrap). Then they have to move in all of their equipment in to start the mining process.
The mining equipment burns through a lot of petroleum of other wise know as gas or diesel (GLE
Scrap). If we were to use the recycled materials then we can save the ore till we really need it (GLE
Scrap). Which will cut down on the gases that are burned while mining. Recycling is also

Romeo And Juliet

  • 1. Romeo and Juliet Love is an amazing feeling that constantly inspires people to admire it in literature, cinema, music and other kinds of art. Many literal works are devoted to the description of this overwhelming feeling and its development. However, there is not much told about various challenges and obstacles lovers have to come across. Both the "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer and "Romeo and Juliet" by Shakespeare are great examples of love that is tested by various challenges and complications. There simply is no more commonly quoted or alluded to dramatist or author in the Western world, nor a storyteller with more films to his individual credit. He helped to invent the modern English language and his dramatic corpus engulfs what is universal and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, there is serious misunderstanding not only inside the family, but also related with the social and public institutions. Social importance was of a great value at that time and it restrained all the other aspects. Public opinion was a great obstacle at that time and Romeo and Juliet had to preserve their love in spite of it. Romeo and Juliet were totally overwhelmed with love and this caused them to rebel and protest against all the traditions and stereotypes in spite of the enmity between their families. According to Juliet's father opinion it is not Juliet's responsibility to decide whom to give her heart. Social civility demands dictate this choice and show the priorities despite some personal preferences and interests. One more obstacle these young lovers have to deal with is religion that dictates certain standards and rules of appropriate behavior that are inconsistent with the power of their love. Romeo's emotional maturity is growing, though sometimes he loses his cool and unthinkingly acts. Although it is difficult to label his suicide in the play's final scene as mature, this final act certainly demonstrates Romeo's determination and devotion to his bride. He is no longer the wistful and wishy–washy romantic neophyte of Act I, but a passionate and strong–willed young man, even if he demonstrates it in a decidedly unproductive way (Lampert, 2008). Romeo and Juliet have to struggle for their love and their right to love. This fight ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. Twilight Moms, By Stephenie Meyer 's Twilight Books And... Living in the United States in 2016, one is familiar with the fandom spurred from Stephenie Meyer's Twilight books and the subsequent Twilight movies. Twilight Moms, a controversial sector of the fandom composed of adult female fans, have garnered attention in recent years. One of the most well–known photographs of Twilight Moms captures the fans' emotions at a 2009 Twilight Event (Buckner). However, what strikes viewers most is not the emotions of the women, but rather their age; the subjects of the image are not tweens and teens, but adult women. The visual rhetoric argues that Twilight's appeal is not exclusive to young adults; it also encompasses older women. The media claims that Twilight Moms are anti–feminist women who refuse to grow up. However, the media's biased accusations are simply not true. In all reality, Twilight Moms are a group of women that relate to Twilight's protagonist and seek bonding experiences with their daughters as well as an escape from the monotony of everyday life. So what exactly constitutes a Twilight Mom? The term Twilight Moms was first coined in December of 2007 when Lisa Hansen launched the "Twilight Moms" MySpace page (Brodesser–akner). According to Hansen, she originally created Twilight Moms for "married women and mothers;" however, that definition has since changed (Hare). Today, Twilight Moms is a more inclusive group consisting of any female fan of Twilight beyond her teen years. Because Twilight Moms are grown women ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. Media Credibility In Social Media Surveys indicate that in 2016, most Americans, 62%, used social media to access news (Pew Research Center, 2016). Nearly 80% of American journalists use social media (Lee, 2015). Social media has become a source for both creating and obtaining news (Yamamoto, Nah, & Chung, 2017). As technology changes how people receive news, it also changes how they evaluate credibility (Lee, 2015). Research into media credibility has evolved over the years, a simplified definition of media credibility might be believability, accuracy, and trustworthiness (Calvo–Porral. Martínez–Fernández, Juanatey–Boga, 2014). Media credibility focuses on the believability of the news channel. Source credibility focuses on the senders of the messages (Bucy, 2003). Several theorists have posited in the evaluation the perception of credibility. The current study aims to concentrate on methods social media users may develop to evaluate the credibility of the news they access online as well as how familiarity affects the user's perceptions of credibility. Research indicates that social media users evaluate credibility based on familiarity with the brand (Calvo– Porral. Martínez–Fernández, Juanatey–Boga, 2014). In other words, if a social media user is familiar with The New York Times, they are more likely to trust the news posted on social media if it comes from the New York Times. Brand familiarity allows social media users to quickly examine logo, site presentation, and grammar to help them ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Walter's plan was to manufacture the narcotic and make profits from addicts that wanted to buy the product. Throughout the television series, White start rationalizing his worst acts with logic. • 11. Analyzing Vince Gilligan's Breaking Bad Breaking Bad, created in 2008 by Vince Gilligan, is an incredibly popular television show that depicts Walter White, a man who after learning he has cancer, transforms from a meek schoolteacher to a drug kingpin in an effort to leave money for his family. Viewer response has been especially strong for this show, especially in reference to Walter's wife, Skyler, who has many fan pages dedicated to hating her. By using Annette Kuhn's feminist theory of film studies, this paper will attempt to explain the mass hatred that surrounds Skyler. Kuhn's theory states that images shown through mass media, especially those of film and television, do not have meanings in and of themselves, but rather the meaning is "circulated between representation, spectator and social formation" (Kuhn 43). Kuhn cites representation, the meaning that the image is given in its creation, as the source of much strife for women, as it often creates a vision of femininity that is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Since the show is centered on Walter and his transformation, it "rarely evinces any curiosity about Skyler's inner life, apart from how it affects Walt" (Bowie). Since the show does not allow Skyler to have a fully fleshed out character, it becomes impossible for the audience to sympathize with her. Furthermore, although Breaking Bad explores deep moral dilemmas within its characters, demanding the audience to question where the line of right and wrong is drawn, this kind of agency is only given to the male characters (Bowie). Thus, due to this representation, the audience judges Skyler by a different moral standard than they judge Walter (Gunn). However, Skyler still remains a much more complex character than is regularly seen on television, since usually representations of "strong women" are "one–dimensional, unrealistic clichés" (Truitt), and so she is thus a positive representation of a ... The Bangladeshi media announced that over 400 workers have killed and 6000 seriously injured which were data that have been reported over the last 20 years in the shipbreaking industry. Working in the ship breaking yards is an extremely dangerous job, which involves a lot of serious injuries and even death in this industry in South Asia: India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh in every year. • 15. Merchant Shipping Activities Remain The Pillar Of Global... 1. Introduction According to the OECD (2012) merchant shipping activities remain the pillar of global trade, with more than 80% of international cargo transported via sea. Throughout history, maritime activities have played a vital role in shaping the world, from fishing, to the transport of people during the age of discovery, as well as global trade. With world trade growth being the core driving force behind maritime trade, other factors include; institutional and technological factors, freedom of trade, as well as China's participation in the global economy (World Ocean Review n.d.). As shipping is a derived demand, developments in maritime transport are thus shaped by global macroeconomic trends. The biggest problem in shipping is the ability to forecast long term freight rates, and current tools such as generalized autoagressive conditional heteroskedasticity (GARCH) are often aimed at short term correlation. GARCH is an approach which helps describe market volatility (Investopedia n.d.). Freight rates essentially drive the shipping industry in terms of fleet size, and are often a good indication of the strength or weakness of the shipping market. The volatile state of the current market means the accurate need for forecasting and keeping up to date with trends is imperative. This report aims to provide an overview of current trends in merchant shipping. 2. Ownership 2.1 Flags of convenience and the largest ship owning countries Panama – with a population of just ... Although the industry is beneficial from a life–cycle assessment point of view, over the years it has gravitated toward countries with low labor costs, weak regulations on occupational safety, and limited environmental enforcement. The "global shift" in the industry to countries with comparatively weaker regulatory systems is of particular concern as ships contain many hazards that can have significant detrimental effects on humans and the environment if not dealt with properly. • 22. Benefits Of Recycling Save The Planet, Make Money And Teach Your Kids Valuable Lessons: Make Scrap Metal Recycling A Family Affair Especially over the summer, when your kids might complain they're always bored, getting into recycling can be an amazing family affair. There are ways in which you can make this venture profitable, all while teaching your children some invaluable economic, scientific and industrial lessons – not to mention the good you'll all be doing for good old Mother Earth. It's easier than you might think and it will be so worth your time. The Environmental Benefits Of Recycling Scrap Whether you adhere to the notion that global warming is real or not, there's no denying the limited resources dwindling all around the globe. Trees, potable water and other invaluable necessities are becoming shorter in supply, with no natural means of replenishment. Anything your family can reuse or recycle helps, but when it comes to scrap metal, there are numerous ways in which putting it back into the manufacturing cycle is good for the planet: You keep the metal out of landfills, many of which are already over flowing. Recycling metal saves the resources that would have been used in creating new metal. Using scrap metal instead of new iron can help fight air and water pollution, along with reducing waste. Recycling electronics keeps toxic materials from polluting landfills. The metal you recycle today may very well be used to manufacture things for your children, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 24. The Perfect Storm by Sebastian Junger This book is arranged into ten different chapters, each containing the main idea in each chapter. In the beginning of the book the author gives a foreword which briefly gives a vision of The Perfect Storm. The author Sebastian Junger wants his book to be completely factual, no dialogue is made up. The direct quotes are recorded from an interview. At the end of the foreword Sebastian states that he used the title The Perfect Storm in a climatic sense, he meant no scorn or insult to those who had their family members pass away. 1. The first chapter is the beginning of the book and gives a little background information of the crew. First in 1895 a crew and its ship, mackerel schooner find a bottle with a note in it. They find the bottle off the coast of Massachusetts from a crew member of a ship called Falcon which had sunk. In the note the crew member had wrote "Our cable is Gone.. Our rudder is gone... God have mercy". If the rudder and cable were gone this means that the ship was tipping on its side. These were the last words of the twenty men aboard the Falcon. In the first chapter being in all italics I believe that the author wanted to show a dream or a certain memory. The author brings up questions on how a crew acts on a sinking ship or if they cry while sinking, which will be answered throughout the book. 2. In the second chapter the author gives more background details. The author tells the time, city and the weather. Its a rainy day in Gloucester, Massachusetts ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 26. Breaking Bad and Walter White Essay Breaking Bad is a TV show about a science instructor, Walter White, turning to cooking methamphetamine when he finds out that he has terminal cancer, so as to leave some legacy for his family. The show accompanies Walter as he changes from a compliant and empathetic father to a cold, merciless drug kingpin through the wrong decisions he makes in life. Vince Gilligan made the show with a dream of having the hero turn into the adversary as the show advances and to investigate the subject "actions have consequences." In giving Bryan Cranston a part as Walter White, Gilligan picked a performing artist whose livelihood bend dovetails uncannily with his character. As Walt changes from such a family man himself into a force eager executioner, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In "The Fly," Breaking Bad's most clearly ruminative scene, Walt miracles provided that he can uncover a way out of the profound mess he's in. "I truly believe there exists some combination of words," he tells Jesse. "There must exist certain words in a certain specific order that would explain all of this. I just can't ever seem to find them." Walt imagines that provided that he can uncover a succession of expressions as flawlessly requested as the gem designs he uncovered in graduate school, he can legitimize all his movements to Skyler and repair his broken family – maybe much adjust the unalterable wrongs he has done. However Nietzsche's cautioning about dialect rings a bell again: expressions can't catch what we without a doubt feel, and we can't control how others will hear even the most. So it is suitable for that composition, when it's all said and done, appears as if it will exhibit Walt's defeat. Five years after the fact of looking for, the reaction to the mystery of the blue meth falls right into Hank's lap: he opens the book and examines an etching that joins Walt with Heisenberg. This idea is made clear by author Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Saga. Throughout the books, Bella Swan is a 17 year old girl who is moving in with her father, out of town. She soon meets the Cullen family, realizes they are vampires, and eventually becomes devoted to one of the males, Edward. During the course of the series, Bella is overly emotional about a variety of things, most of the time she is considered to be overreacting. It is clear that Bella needs help with almost everything she does, she even comes off as the damsel in distress in most of the series. Bella responds with "'Mostly I dream about being with you forever'" (Meyers, Twilight 498). She says this to try to tell Edward that she is willing to risk anything, even her own life to be with him. Bella won't listen to Edward despite him trying to convince her she is overreacting. Ever since the beginning of Bella and Edward's relationship the two are almost inseparable, which is why when he decides to end their relationship and leave in the second book, Bella becomes insane. She stares outside for hours on end, and refuses to go anywhere or hang out with her friends. Bella's dad confronts her about her behavior saying, "'you're just... lifeless Bella'" (Meyers, New Moon 95). Clearly, she is overreacting, however she is truly fitting the role of a basic "clingy girlfriend". While emotion is considered a female trait, a lot of people believe that all females overreact to everything, which is exactly what Bella is doing by the way she reacts when Edward breaks up with her. Bella is not good feminist role model because of her overreactions. In addition to her overreactions, Bella is also excessively vulnerable. It seems as though Bella can't do anything without needing help from someone. For example, in the first book, she can't seem to move herself out of the way of an oncoming car, in fact, Edward who is quite a distance away has to rush over to save her. It goes into detail to describe how companies have become increasingly more likely to sell sex in advertisements for products that, in reality, are entirely unrelated. Kilbourne focuses primarily on how this is harmful to society– especially women and children and how they are viewed by men, though men may also be targeted if not nearly as frequently. In a similar article called "Taking a Bite Out of Twilight", Carmen D. Siering shares her disapproval of the popular novel adored by so many: Twilight. Represented by the iconic red apple held in a women's palm with a sinister black backdrop, Twilight is a modern fairytale where the prince belongs to a monstrous society of blood–sucking models, and the princess is your average, plain–Jane highschool girl with a knack for getting into trouble. Siering's opinion is most basically this: Bella is objectified and downgraded in the Twilight series; a character created solely to compliment the plot propelled by male characters. Where the majority of the population sees an aching, beautiful and dangerous romance, Siering sees a controlling relationship and a dull female lead. Kilbourne's article brings to light how Siering's article, directed at Stephenie Meyer's readers, is so accurate with the the recommendation that everyone become more aware of the messages they are absorbing from media as it snakes its way into society's ... Watching movies–or, rather, TV shows–has indeed become an extremely popular activity, especially in countries where there is access to Netflix or other similar services. This popularity is easy to explain: TV shows often offer products much more diverse, intriguing, and non–standard than conventional films. Shows such as "True Detective," "Game of Thrones," "House M.D." and many others have proved that such format is definitely not inferior to regular movies; on the contrary, it can be superior to them at times. • 38. The Role of the Holy Fool in the Context of Danish Cinema Introduction In Christian folklore, the holy fool is an archetypal figure that stands apart from society, elevated to a transcendent status based on his or her piety. Holy fools flout social norms, and are thus unable to be properly accommodated in their respective societies. With their position of outsider, holy fools are ideally suited to critique mainstream ideas and practices, acting as a narrative device to provide commentary on the world. Holy fools exist in a separate sphere from "regular" fools due to their associations with Christ figures. Christian tradition speaks of many famous holy fools, from nameless monks who give up all of their worldly possessions to become closer to Jesus, to characters of Biblical renown, such as Saint Paul (Thomas 2009: 204). The depiction of a holy fool is undoubtedly influenced by the religious climate of a society. Traditionally, holy fools have been part of Roman Catholic and Orthodox faiths, where saints have traditionally been revered for their ability to follow God in the most extreme fashion so that they appear foolish to the majority of society that is less in tune with God's wishes. In Denmark, Protestant traditions dominate the religious landscape, so the depiction of the holy fool must be adjusted accordingly. In order to understand the role of the holy fool in the context of Danish cinema, it is first necessary to look at the role of religion in Danish society. A small person running through one of the many alleyways, he stops, petrified. A large being concealed by shadows, barely visible. I stopped, assuming the worst, but as it stepped away from the darkness, I realized it was only my friend, Jonathan. After an exciting session of angered whispers, I told him the reason I was there. "I was heading down to West Side to talk to Uncle Isaiah about the Sky Ship." Two Hours Later "Who is it? Hello?" Uncle Isaiah said, annoyed by the knock on his door. "It's me!" I said, to which he responded, "I don't quite recall anyone named me, for the past, well, forever." "Ugh, I mean it's Sam." After a moment, he responded a loud "How are you?" in a few seconds of consideration, due to the shock I had received from my friend, I replied "I'm good, though I'm starting to think going out at night isn't the best of ideas I have ever had." "Maybe you can try again when your older? None the less, what's the real reason you came here?" I simply replied, "When will I get my Sky ship?" "In due time Sam, in due time." "But when can we get it? I really want one!" "The Sky ship or the cat? Hahaha" "You know I meant the Sky ship, we already have a cat!" "I told you, in a few years I will have the house paid off and everything and we can get you one, but why do you even want one of your own? Comparable transaction is a conventional method of evaluating the value of something that is ready for sale. To value a ship, one had to identify a set of "comparable" ships where comparability was based on four main factors: ship type, size (DWT), age, and condition. The Bet Performer was a 11 year old ship, built in 1997, 172,000 DWT capsize bulk carrier. From the Exhibit 4, there are five ships which are the most comparable to Bet Performer. They are Martha Verity, Ingenious, Sumihou, Cape Sun, and Coppersmith. These ships all have the most similar characteristics, in terms of ship type, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is logical because, larger the ships, more load could they carry, and thus make higher profits, so are priced higher. Relationship between Age and Ship Price: From the regression, we find that as the ship ages by one year, the price of the ship drops by $ 4.54 mln. This makes sense because as with any other vehicle or asset, the efficiency of the ship drops with age. As it gets older, the carrying value of the ship lowers due to depreciation. Relationship between Charter rates and Ship Price: With one point increase in the Capesize ship index, there is a slight increase in the price of the ship by $0.007 mln. The Capesize ships took like a year to build, and are good for 25 years, after which they are demolished and sold for scrap. The economics of this "ship breaking" differed by ship size and type category. So higher this index, higher is the price of the ship. b. Can you think of other factors that might predict ship prices? Apart from the 4 factors ship type, DWT, ship age and gears, there are a couple of other factors which affect the ship price. They are Type of main engine, Confirmed time charter contracts with creditworthy counter parties Loading equipment (cranes and derricks) Shipyard (original builder) Location (where the ship was at the time of sale) All these affected the price of the ship, and hence can be used to ... Currently, Ocean Carriers does not have any ships that are available to meet this customer demand. This report will assist VP of Finance Mary Lynn to make a decision on whether or not to commission a new carrier and how long to hold on to this asset. Based off a financial analysis using the data Ocean Carriers has provided, the final recommendation is that Ocean Carriers should build a new ship out of its Hong Kong base where the tax rate is 0% and scrap the ship when it is 25 years old. Following this recommendation would be the only scenario where Ocean Carriers sees a positive net present value ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If the carrier is sold after 15 years, the after–tax scrap value will be $4,367,728. This value was found by taking the known scrap value at year 15 of $5,000,000 and using the inflation rate to determine the scrap value in year 25. With this, the net present value for Ocean Carriers after 25 years will be –$6,872,291. Scenario 1B: Purchase carrier at 0% tax rate. If the boat were to be commissioned in Hong Kong, where there is 0% corporate income tax, the value of the scrap would become $6,719,582 and the NPV after 25 years will be $977,267. Both scenarios are summarized in Table 1. Since scenario 1 has a negative NPV, we recommend Ocean Carriers to not invest if there is a 35% tax rate in the US. In scenario 2, where the ship is built in HK with a 0% tax rate, then we recommend that Ocean Carrier invest in the ship. This analysis shows that working the ship at a 35% tax rate will not yield a profit on the investment even 25 years into the future, given the increasing costs of survey preparation and the diminishing number of days that the ship is actually able to make money and be commissioned. • 60. Essay On Ransom On The High Seas Ransom on the High Seas: The case of Piracy in Somalia The pirates in the coast of Somalia came to activity at the start of 2003. The main reason that provoked local Somalis to start attacking foreign cargo ships was the civil war that broke out in 1991. The Somali Civil War leads to an unstable government that lacked on authority, leadership and control to stop the rising attacks between local groups. From there, Somalia went on downhill; its population decreased over two thirds from 1991 to 2011 and by 2008, the United Nations estimated that nearly 3.2 million Somalis were dependent on food aid for survival. These pirates had nothing to live fro before attacking the ships. They started hijacking the ships in look of money and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As we can see this is clearly not the best option for ISC to take, as there are not any advantages at all from it. Another factor that we have to take into consideration if the negotiation is not carried out is the mere fact that ISC does not have any insurance against pirates on the ship that has been captured, placing them in a very delicate situation. Another possible idea that Martin had was to negotiate using the force. As I have just mentioned before, dealing with pirates is a very delicate situation and any drastic move can lead to the death of the hostages. If the negotiation does not go as well as ISC would like to, they could apply the force from different sources (military, government or private) and solve this problem. Nevertheless, if this plan does not work out to perfection, the pirates will discover this threat and kill the hostages as a message to future negotiations (you have to remember they have nothing to loose whilst you have millions of dollars in hands). In addition, Martin's third option involved the U.S. Navy Ship that was fast approaching Odyssey (ISC ship captured by the pirates) to rescue the three American crewmembers that were held hostage. • 62. The Success of Stephanie Meyer Essay "I'd never given much thought to how I would die, but dying in the place of someone I love seems like a good way to go." Those are the famous words that started it all, The Twilight Saga Phenomenon. The Twilight Saga consists of four novels: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. Stephanie Meyer, author of the popular saga, majored in English literature at Brigham Young University. After graduating in 1997, Meyer chose to be a stay–at–home mother to her three sons. The concept of the whole saga came to her in a dream one night. When she woke up, she took a pen and paper and documented everything that occurred in her dream. She then based all four novels on that dream because she had a gut feeling that it was going to make a great ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... No one besides her sister knew that she was writing a novel, little known at the time, but the masterpiece known as Twilight. Since Meyer is a mother of three, and is busy with her kids' needs and wants all day, she would take time late at night to work on writing her novel. And in three short months, she completed Twilight, regardless of her insignificant amount of experience in writing. In all four works, Bella Swan in the protagonist. The story is centered around her life. All four books are written in her perspective. Meyer usually tends to write all her stories as first person narratives, including books that are not related to the Twilight Saga like The Host. When Meyer writes, she becomes completely engrossed in the characters. The main reason why she writes is because of the characters she creates. She envisions them in her brain. She talks to them all day, and they talk back. Coming up with the perfect names for the two main characters was a very tough process. She wanted a name that was popular decades ago, but at the same time, she wanted a name that was romantic for the vampire. Since Meyer grew up reading Charlotte Bronte and Jane Austen, she used the characters Mr. Ferrars and Mr. Rochester from their works as an inspiration; thus leading her to choose the name Edward. After coming up with the names for the twosome, and was still in the process of creating their story, they would constantly talk to her. She heard their voices all day, so Meyer would ... • 64. A Hovercraft Is An Air Vehicle INTRODUCTION A hovercraft is an air vehicle, or ACV, is a craft capable of travelling over Land, water, on the ice , soil or other surfaces, both travel Speed and stop. Transporting vehicle also called a hovercraft, that rides slightly above the Earth 's surface on a cushion of air. The air is continuously forced under the vehicle by a fan which generates the cushion that greatly reduces friction between the moving vehicle and the surface. The air is usually delivered through ducts and injected at Periphery of the vehicle in a downward , inward direction. This has been due to various reasons. The inability to control and maneuver minute maintenance and noise levels are relatively high compared with the car hard enough to overcome to keep the car and the air cushion in the margins of modern transportation. It also came along more than fifty years after the accepted standard cars as a means of transport in many guises, cars, trucks, recreational vehicles and so forth. 4 WHO DISCOVERED HOVERCRAFT ? British inventor Christopher Cockerel in the early 1950s during the experiments were carried out with a device called the hovercraft. . He is known as the father and innovator of the hovercraft. • 66. Impact Of Piracy On International Trade Essay With the majority of Earth's surface covered by water, the most efficient and cost effective way to transport goods is across that water in ships, due to buoyancy. Ships allow for massive amounts of goods to be transported at once, but these slow, cargo laden ships pose an attractive target to thieves. Piracy causes costly disturbances and dangers that lead to billions of dollars in losses because of captured ships, loss of goods, and the ransoming of the crew. Because of the impact of piracy on the profits and safety of maritime transport companies, several measures have been taken to prevent the capturing of vessels or discourage the pirates wanting to attack the vessel. Efforts to create new technology to prevent pirate boarding and security have developed several methods to deal with attacks. The goal of making the vessels more difficult to attack and too dangerous to steal from, has been the focal point of the research and development. The UN has endeavored to solve the effects that piracy caused on international trade, but at the cost not addressing the problems that the piracy originated from. The current merchant marine efforts to deter and defend against piracy have been effective in dropping the levels of raids in recent years. Article 101 of the United Nations convention on the Law of the Sea defines Piracy as "any illegal acts of violence or detention, or any act of depredation, committed for private ends by the crew or the passengers of a private ship" (The ... It is a big smack in the face like shock. In social media, there are advantages and disadvantages of social media. One advantage is where you are starting a small business and you want to get your name and product out there to people. You can take pictures and post it to the Facebook where it can be seen by thousands of potential clients. This can be done for all free. Another advantage is that you can access news fast by looking on social media. Now comes the disadvantages. You start a small business and you have already posted your product out there. You have old friends that you had a falling out with. They can post negative comments or reviews about your business just because they don't like you. This can really alter your business before it even gets started. That is what we call inaccurate reviews. I see it all the time where a business has negative reviews that I know aren't true all because of someone posting negative things to be funny or just because they don't like you as a person. Or it could be a competitor making false reviews to hurt your business to make a gain on theirs. A person can be altered by the advantages and disadvantages of social media. • 70. Television Series Named Breaking Bad Essay In 2008, AMC showcased a hit television series named Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad follows a protagonist Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher (who lives with his wife, Skyler and their teenage son who has cerebral palsy) who is diagnosed with inoperable cancer, and turns to manufacturing and selling methamphetamine in order to secure his family's future (Breaking Bad). Although on the surface Walter White is depicted as a good guy turned bad, in actuality the character is truly embracing his deviant subconscious self. Walter White can reasonably be deemed as an immoral character due to the fact that his criminal behavior was instinctual, he continuously justifies his decisions, and he displays an insatiable desire to commit unlawful acts. In the beginning, it is fairly certain that he starts manufacturing and selling methamphetamine to secure his family's long term financial security. But as his work progresses, his infamy grows. The pseudonym Heisenberg he picks for himself slowly begins to take on a life of its own. Unlike Walter, Heisenberg is self–assured and confident. He is able to hold his own against aggressive and psychologically unstable drug dealers, and he only grows stronger as the series advances. Walter White's long dormant pride and ego start to awaken as the series deepens. The more he taps into his alter ego, the more he shows his true colors. Therefore, throughout the show, it is evident that he is imploring his natural instincts. It comes so ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 72. Breaking Bad Research Papers I have developed an endless runner game for smartphones and tablets based on the hit television show, Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad tells the story of Walter White, an ordinary chemistry teacher who finds out that he has cancer and Jesse Pinkman, a local street gangster who befriends Walter. Both Walter and Jesse decides to produce methamphetamine in order for Walter to pay for his medical bills and support his family. With the added advantage of Walter's knowledge in chemistry, their product takes off and they both turn to a life of crime and encounter dangerous events that changes their lives forever. They come across various psychopaths. A mad drug lord named Tuco Salamanca, a no–nonsense authoritarian like meth distributor called Gustavo Fring and a white supremacist gang. As Walter White gets into various criminal activities, he puts his life and his family's life in danger. My concept for the game is a platform–based endless runner for smartphones and tablets, not to be confused for an endless runner in the third person perspective. The game will have the two main characters playable at the start, Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. As one progresses in game, they will be able to unlock other characters such as Walter's brother in law Hank, Gustavo Fring, the iconic RV from the show, Heisenberg (Walt's clandestine alias) and Saul Goodman, their lawyer who uses unorthodox ways to get Walt and Jesse out of legal trouble. The reason I decided to make only two playable ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 74. Analysis Of Stephenie Meyer 's ' The Twilight Saga ' Stephenie Meyer is a well known author of the most popular fiction vampire romance novels. She is a young writer and wrote her first series of four books called the Twilight Saga, which has become one of the most popular books and movies in the world. Stephenie was born on December 24, 1973 in Hartford, Connecticut (Newsmakers). Her parents were Stephen and Candy Morgan, an executive at a contracting firm and house–wife. They had a total of six children: Seth, Emily, Jacob, Paul, Heidi, and Stephenie being the second oldest. Being one of the eldest siblings along with her sister taught her much about how to be responsible (The Official Website of Stephenie Meyer). Her parents were very religious and passed down their beliefs to their children. They were Mormons that attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter–day Saints (LDS). Due to their religion, she and siblings were brought up in a strict way, which she has stated, has provided her with a care–free and safe environment (USA Today). Growing up, Stephenie's parents would read their children adult novels such as The Sword of Shannara and Gone with the Wind as bedtime stories. They would read up to an anticipating moment in the story, stop, then tell their children it was time for bed. Curious to know what was going to happen next, Stephenie would sneak the book out during the day and read from where they left off. She did not know that she was reading well beyond her age of a second–grader. When her parents would ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 76. Impacts Of Recycling Recycling is helping the environment by eliminating waste. Recycling is taking old metal or paper and taking it to a foundry . Giving it back to them to make new products with to save the natural resource that it would take to make it from scratch. If the metal companies had to take and mine for the ore that it takes to make metal they would be hurting the environment a lot worse than what they would by using recycled goods. Recycling metal also helps us the consumer save on the natural resources that we may need later on in life. The best thing about metal are that it will never lose its structural value no matter how many time the consumer recycles it (Green Tumble.) Recycled aluminum can travel around the world four times and still save more energy than what it would to mine for ore (Less Is More). Metal production is a very long and energy consuming process. If we don't recycle and use the materials that we already have then they have to mine for the ore (GLE Scrap). If the companies have to mine for the iron ore that it takes to make the metal they have to go in and cut down acres of trees (GLE Scrap). Then they have to move in all of their equipment in to start the mining process. The mining equipment burns through a lot of petroleum of other wise know as gas or diesel (GLE Scrap). If we were to use the recycled materials then we can save the ore till we really need it (GLE Scrap). Which will cut down on the gases that are burned while mining. Recycling is also ...
