A shot count and shot description of PVRIS Fire music video

1. The song start off with a slow pace which longer shots are required the pace of the
song does quicken in the chorus. Altogether there are 205 shots in the music video
these shots include some of the band members and some other shots that so the
meaning of the song. The shots that are used are a range from a long shot to a close up
as in a music video we are expected to see a close up being used to show the members.
This is the opening of the
music video and it is what
the audience will first see,
the reason behind them

This is the first shot that
is used in the music video.
The shot that is used is a
medium close up of the
singer. Although it is hard
to see the lead singer of
the band, it does allow the
band to work out the lead
singer is female. By using
this medium close the
audience also get to see
the backdrop of the shot.
The shot that has been
used here is a medium long
shot. This shot is a lot
clearer than the one that
was used at the beginning
of the music video. By
using this shot that
audience will be able to
see the costume that the
lead singer is wearing.

2. The last shot that I have
picked out is a long shot,
there has also been a red
colour pallet that has been
used which could illustrate
fire as this is the name of
the song. By using the long
shot the audience have
more of an opportunity to
see what is going on in the
shot and in this shot the
audience will see the lead
singer smashing object up
with a baseball bat.
