2. The WWW’s and EBI’s
WWW - The animation fit’s the length of 30 seconds (advert length)
- The animation is very smooth as there are many frames
- I put a lot of effort into filming this animation and when
watching I can see that it has paid off
- The editing and sound effects works well with the animation
- The message was clear and easy to understand
EBI - The lighting could have been better as it makes the animation
look not as nice
- I could of done a tad more filming of background scenes and also
scene of the teenager walking.
3. Outcome of the animation
The animation is set out to show people the
importance that cardiac risk is on young people
today. It was made with the charity CRY as there
main focus is scanning for cardiac risk in the
young. So the main focus is to show how young
people how important it is to get checked as it
can happen to anyone at anytime, there are no
symptoms.
4. The editing and effects
Overall I was very pleased with the editing and
effects that I used:
- The sound effects that I have used match well with my
animation, for example when the character is waking up I
have used alarm sound effects and snoring to convey an
average teenager in the morning.
- The editing was more tricky because if I over edit or
under edit the animation it would of totally ruined it, but
as you can see I think I found a good balance between
the two.
5. After showing my animation to a small audience I asked a few
questions of what they thought of it:
Q – “Do you think the message is clear?”
A – “I thought that the way you presented CRY could have been better,
but the message given was very clear”.
Q – “How good did you think the animation / editing was?”
A – “I think the animation was smooth and flowed well apart from the
odd hiccup.”
Q – “Do you think the animation as a whole is helpful?”
A – “ The animation you have made could be helpful if it was a little more
linked to Cry, if you had more time maybe you could of shown us this.”
Q – “Could you see this aired on TV?”
A – “ Maybe after a little bit more work, but the overall idea is a very
good one.”
