drawings that show the three principal dimensions of an object in one view. The Engineering
graphics curriculum consists of a separate chapter on Isometric drawing. University question paper
consists of a question of about 13–15 marks. The time allotment for this question is 10 minutes,
considering a 100 marks question paper. In this paper we made a sample research on a group of 15
students by asking them to use Isometric template to draw isometric drawing and found out some

Abstract
In today's world a lot of data is being exchanged via the internet. Sensitive data such as official
documents, bank details, credit card information, as well as personal information is being sent
online. To maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of this data, it needs to be
encrypted. Cryptology deals with cryptography and cryptanalysis, i.e., encryption and decryption of
information. To keep the data safe from intruders, various cryptographic algorithms are
implemented. Parallel processing enhances the speed of these systems and makes it more efficient.
Parallel computation can be performed using multicore processors by parallelizing the execution of
algorithms in multiple cores. The main area of focus will be the parallelization of Advanced
Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm, which is widely in use today. The paper reviews the
implementation of AES algorithm on multiple cores and the speedups observed in the process.

The Infrastructure of Cloud Computing
Cloud computing refers to an internet based computing technology where shared servers provide
infrastructure, software and various other resource to customers on a "pay–as–use" basis. Cloud
users need not know how the resources are managed. Hence they can concentrate on the business
functionality of the service rather than the underlying functionality involved in the management of
the resources. These customers do not own the physical infrastructure, but rent these resources from
a third–party agency. This concept is widely utilised by the industry, government and in the
educational sector due to the ability to provide robust, resilient and scalable computing power. The
resources are provisioned to the user based on determining the required computing resources by the
customer.
Virtualisation is a powerful technology which makes modern computers versatile and powerful. This
technology enables an on–demand creation of a large number of virtual machines within a physical
machine and can be implemented at the server level, OS level or at the application level. Server
level virtualisation is done by emulating the underlying hardware by virtualisation software. This
virtualisation software is referred as a Hypervisor or a Virtual Machine Monitor (VMM). In OS

Why Parallel Programming?
Nowadays, computers have incredible hardware futures, enabling problems to be resolved faster
than before. According to Moore's Law, the simplified version of this law states that processor
speeds or overall processing power for computers will double every two years. Illustration of
Moore's Law 1970–2010 Manufactures were concerned how they could resolve the problem of the
transistors over heating as more power generated would increase the temperature of the chips. To
resolve the problem the design engineers changed the design of the microprocessors and used the

The first half of this quote explains that idea in a different way, "Each society thought that their way

"Shiloh", by Bobbie Ann Mason, explores an interesting theme, the distinct parallel between the
surface level of what the events of the story are, and the meaning underneath. This parallel is seen
throughout the story, from the start when Leroy Moffitt is building craft kits for at first just to pass
time, while Norma Jean is lifting weights and working at a Rexall drugstore for the same reason; To
later on when Norma says she doesn't know what she's talking about and Leroy thinks that the way
to saving his marriage is to come up with a last minute idea. The story engages the theme of the
parallel levels through the unstable marriage of Leroy and Norma Jean. The theme of this parallel is
shown overtly through the images, descriptions, and characterizations of the log cabins in the story,
and of Shiloh. Interestingly, the characters and the world they live in are stuck on the surface, shown
through how both Leroy and Norma Jean drift on subjects, and through the names in the story.
Norma Jean and Leroy's marriage shows an insight on the theme in action because of how their lack
of understanding the inner workings of marriage, which causes them to drift apart and eventually

Introduction
Here is a small tutorial that suffices you with the basic concepts required to put up eyes on your

robot. Trust me, if you are into robotics, you are going to enjoy the next few pages. After all, making
"a robot that can see" would really be cool! So let's get started!
A vision based robot has an image acquisition device like a webcam as its eyes. Then we need a
processor that can make sense out of those captured images and actuators like dc motors for
navigation. One key point to note is that Image Processing has huge computational requirements,
and it is not possible to run an image processing code directly on a small microcontroller. Hence, for
our purpose, the simplest approach would be to run the code on a computer, which has a webcam
connected to it to take the images, and the robot is controlled by the computer via serial or parallel
port. The code is written in a software that provides the tools for acquiring images, analyzing the
content in the images and deriving conclusions. MATLAB is one of the many such software
available which provide the platform for performing these tasks.

Plutarch was a son of the philosopher named Aristobulus. He was born in 46 AD in Chaeronea,
Boeotia; and he died in 120 AD. Plutarch was also known as a historian, essayist and biographer
who had left a huge literary heritage for humanity. By traveling abroad to other countries such as
Egypt, Greece..., Plutarch assembled lots of information about the heroes of the Roman and Greece
mythology. After that, he used that information to write about lives of heroes. He gathered all
fascinating biographies in his massive books: "Plutarch' Greek Lives", "Plutarch' Roman Lives" and
"The Parallel Lives of Plutarch". Those books bring a reputation to Plutarch and he became a
famous biographer at that time. In his books, he wrote the lives of the heroes in order of time to

The availability of RDDs facilitates the implementation of both iterative algorithms that visit their
dataset multiple times in a loop, and exploratory data analysis, which is the querying of data
repeatedly. The latency of applications builds with spark compared to Hadoop, a MapReduce

The work Bicycle Thieves is chosen to be discussed in this essay. Bicycle Thieves is an Italian film
published in 1948, directed by Vittorio De Sica. It gained both commercial and artistic success, and
have won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1948. The film is famous for its
neorealism that reflects the post–war Italian society. In the following essay, I'm going to discuss how
did De Sica use the cinematography skills to strengthen his expressions in Bicycle Thieves, and the

De Sica claimed a film is "reality transposed into the realm of poetry" (Turan 103). So, the principle

The essay begins and ends by discussing Ingmar Bergman specifically, which while interesting and
at times relevant, is for the most part superfluous in directly dealing with the topic at hand. The mid
section of the essay I believe however is acutely pertinent. Elsaesser moves from his original
specific focus on Bergman and extends it to European and thus art cinema. He raises the issue of the
perceived notion of American (classical) cinema versus European (deviant) cinema. In addressing
this issue Elsaesser breaks down the commonalities within each respective cinema. It is in this
breakdown that I found this essay not only helpful but also intriguing in it's novel approach to the
topic. He provides the crudest definition of the supposed opposing cinemas as "Quick Hollywood
and Slow Europe". In his expansion of the "slow" nature of European cinema he shows his
attentiveness to the components of art cinema. Citing slow delivery of dialogue, less cuts and deep
staging as trademarks of art cinema as a whole. He then goes even further than these technical
aspects and delves into the shared "self conscious" plot structures, as well as the distinct lack of
strong causality in these films. He suggests that art cinema merely sets a different task to viewers
than classical, be it discovering a character's true motivation, piecing together a "scattered timeline"
or a having to separate the "real" from the "imagined". It's worth noting that "Wild Strawberries" is a
film that presents the audience with every one of these tasks. I believe that this essay would not be
only useful in answering against the proposed topic but also provides a fresh view on the elements

In Jeannette Walls's memoir, The Glass Castle, Jeannette and her siblings are constantly plagued
with various accidents and injuries, more so than "typical" children would be. Her parents have a
carefree and lenient approach to parenting, oftentimes leaving the children to fend for themselves or
in perilous situations. In The Glass Castle, Jeannette recounts some of the injuries she and her
siblings suffer, the reaction her parents have to those injuries, and the parallel episodes they refer to.
One of the first appalling instances of Jeanette's various accidents occurs when she is cooking hot
dogs at the age of three. Walls writes: "...when I stood up and started stirring the hot dogs again, I
felt a blaze of heat on my right side and realized my dress was on fire" (9). As a result, Jeannette
ended up having to be covered in ice and given skin grafts due to the severity of her burns, despite
this accident being entirely preventable. While tragic, this occurred for a few reasons, first because
she was much too young to be maneuvering a hot stove, and furthermore because she was not being
supervised by any parent. Nonetheless, any adult could likely have noticed the fire and put it out
more quickly had they been in the room, leading to less acute injuries.
When Jeannette's mother did come, it was evident that she cared about the safety and well–being of
her child: "Mom ran into the room" (9). Seeing as she came running rather than strolling, it can be
inferred that her mother is attentive and worried about her daughter; however, once in the hospital,
her father has an averse reaction to her injuries and the fact that she's in the hospital when he says:
"You shouldn't be in this antiseptic joint" (13). Most parents would fret over their child and let the
hospital do whatever they saw fit to help their child, but her father Rex doesn't trust the hospital and
potentially jeopardizes his daughter's health by not adhering to the hospital's recommendations. A
parallel episode to this tragic fire incident is when the family is staying at a hotel and are woken up

conduction, fluid flow and elastic problems in static condition can be described by elliptic partial
differential equations (EPDE). The EPDE does not involve a time variable, and so describes the
steady state of problems. A linear EPDE has the general form as presented in Eq. (1), where a,b,c are
coefficient functions, the term f is a source (excitation) function and u is the unknown variable. All

In life people may run into many obstacles that will create a bump in their path, in these occurrences
they must persevere and strive for what they believe in. If you don't always like your odds in your
situation or fail your first time, it does not mean you should give up; it only means that you should
keep on persevering. In the book, "Michael Vey: Rise of the Elgen" a huge corporation called the
Elgen took Michael's mom from him. They did this so they could lure Michael into their trap to
capture him as well. Michael creates a group with his friends called the "Electroclan" due to the
variety of electric abilities each of them have. They created this group in order to get Michael's
mother back from Dr. Hatch, the leader of Elgen. The Elgen are a worldwide corporation with
thousands of soldiers, where the Electroclan only contained about 10. Despite the odds Michael
decides to fly out to Peru, where his mother is being held captive, and attempt to save her. The main
theme of Michael Vey: Rise of the Elgen is perseverance which draws many parallels between the
overall plot and society.
