INTRODUCTION
Teacher enters the classroom and interacts friendly with the pupil.
Before entering to the topic teacher shows some pictures of Kuttanad
and also play a song related to the beauty of kuttanad. Then the
teacher explains that Alappuzha is Known as the Venice of the east
and enters in to the topic.
Activity 1
Teacher shows the real picture of Kuttanad through the laptop which
Include the photos of lake and back waters in kuttanad like Venice of
East.

Teacher shows the pictures of tourist spot of kuttanad. It also shows
the pictures of tourist. From this pictures teacher added that,beauty

through OHP and also says that Alappuzha is called Venice of the East.
Then teacher asks the pupil that Why Alappuzha is called Venice of
the East. Teacher concludes that Alappuzha like Venice is full of Canals
and Back waters and is Known as the Venice of the East.
