3. INTRODUCTION
The existence of IT in our everyday life nowadays with no doubt,
can help ease most of our work.
In this topic, we will explain about the uses of IT in governance
sector.
Just like the others, the use of IT in the governance sector has
helped lighten the work of government employees and improve the
quality and efficiency of the sector.
There are tremendous number of website and system that were
used in this sector. We will take two example of website which is :
Lembaga Pembiayaan Perumahan Sektor Awam (LPPSA).
Jabatan Akauntan Negara Malaysia (JANM).

The purpose of governance sector online system, ANM is to
prepare and strengthen the accounting and financial services to
enhance the Government's comprehensive public sector
accountability.
It helps government employees to manage things in term of print
statement, loans, quotations, unclaimed funds, loan repayments,
money exchange and many more.
Government employees can utilize many services related to
financial in one websites.

Improving accountability and transparency of accounting and
financial management of the Federal Government.
To assist the Government in making effective decisions.

ANM `s system ensure every complaint received through the Helpdesk regarding
system usage downtime been acknowledged within 15 minutes from receiving
the complaint.
Management Information System (MIS)
Consultancy Management System Help Desk (COMS) is the example for using
MIS.
Automating work processes for consulting services and application to
improve the quality of public service delivery.
Providing database to store information on applications and approvals,
monitoring and evaluation activities, research, consultation and
statistical data for future references by the stakeholders.
Providing a platform for online communication, application and enquiries.
Facilitating customers to check the status of applications and get the
feedbacks on enquiries.
12. Functional Business Systems
a) JANM also using business function for human resources,
finance and accounting.
b) Providing user with payroll record, annual income
statement.
c) Government employees received their pay slip before,
which is a traditional method. After IT was implemented in
this sector, they can easily check weather their salary have
been paid or not and also they can check their pay slip online.

The governance sector online system LPPSA, is long-term measures
to reduce the burden of government debt to finance government
housing loan.
LPPSA system`s purpose is to arrange housing loans to the public
sector.
Assist government employees to make decision making on housing
loan and build house.

- chains ( CBC ) using IT as an enabler to ensure efficiency.

LPPSA`s website using E-Ticket sistem. e-ticket is a matter for the online complain
t management system. Each complaint will be maintained more efficiently using th
e ticket.
The system will react within 24 hours
19. Information System in Website
Decision Support System (DSSS)
LPPSA give user support decision making process by giving option and
information that is suitable for user’s condition. Example, the average loan instal
lment to be paid according to the average salary
Transaction Processing Systems ( TPSS )
Customers enter the input, the system will check and verify whether the informa
tion`s typed is the right as the system requested. If the information is accurate t
hen this data will be stored in the database of LPPSA company. data received will
be printed and given to the requestor / client

the Internet.
Not all matters related to the documents can be completed through
online system.
Get more effective and efficient consultation with the expert
regarding the specific services.
Government employees are not proficient in IT.
22. CONCLUSION
The use of IT in the governance sector is really helpful in facilitating
the daily activities of the community in line with the world’s
technology process.
Using IT also can help provide various government services online
to government employees.
Tremendous number of government website could lead to higher
