 Terrell Hills 23.117%
 Castle Hills 19.204%
 Olmos Park 9.950%
 Hollywood Park 8.945%

3. BACKGROUND
 Initially disbanded in 1987 when land was sold
 Re-established in 1995 after Texas Natural Resources Conservation
commission required Joint Cities to be permanently close the
landfill properly
 Revocation of Municipal Solid Waste Permit No. 505 Issued Nov. 09,
2004
 Current account at Broadway Bank
 Dormant for years - risk for being closed and funds to be sent to Texas
Comptroller’s Office
 Funds were held due to recurring threat of litigation by user of
landfill
 Land now owned by Crestmore and JM Assets

5. POLICY ANALYSIS
 The Board shall exercise the powers and
authorities granted in Chapter 273 of the Local
Government Code and to the extent
appropriate shall be an interlocal cooperation
authorized by Chapter 791 of Government
Code
 All information and agreement reviewed by
City Attorney

6. FISCAL IMPACT
 Division of proceeds from sale and all expenses
related to the landfill divided as follows:
 Alamo Heights 38.784% - $36,036.69
 Terrell Hills 23.117% - $21,479.40
 Castle Hills 19.204% - $17,843.60
 Olmos Park 9.950% - $9,245.13
 Hollywood Park 8.945% - $8,311.32
