2. Our History
Opened the doors of its first office in January 2002
in Millstone Lane, Leicester.
Founding Directors – Greg Latham, Chris Hockey
and Ian Briers.
They were instrumental in the management of
Staffline Recruitment, a large industrial supplier of
temporary staff based in the midlands.
They became disillusioned soon after an MBO, so
decided to recreate the successful formula of giving
priority to staff and protecting margins.
They are experienced individuals who wanted to do
more of the same, again – so Encore was born.

Presently the company turns over in excess of £35
million, with over 2000 workers at 400+ companies
throughout the Midlands
Investment in Marketing has meant the Encore
Engage newsletter is dispatched to over 15,000
decision makers monthly
IT has a prominent role within Encore with
bespoke systems both internally and for clients

Joker Card
Half day holiday to be given if nil
absenteeism in preceding 6 month
period. Allocation periods to be 1 Jan to
31June and 1July to 31 Dec annually.
Half day holiday on birthdays
All staff have the option to take a half
day off on the birthday as a thank you
from the directors.
Social Events
Staff social events are arranged each
year including the Encore Olympics.
Charity Dress Down Days
Staff are given the option to dress down
and donate towards the nominated
Encore Charity.
