1. In our initial
photo shoot for our digipak photos we took this picture with
the triangle and the light reflecting onto the stars face (star
image). The triangle is symbolic of the indie music genre and
it emphasises the star image of the lead singer, this can be
supported by the workings of Andrew Goodwin and Dyer.
Having a star image is essential for the success of a music
video and the brand identity of the artist/artists as stated by
the two theorists. However we reshot this image as we felt
that the lighting was not correct to fit in with our digipak.
After numerous attempts we finally agreed on the bottom
image as a replacement to the image. The bottom image has
better lighting and is more in focus. It has a very good use of
shallow focus to give off effect towards the audience.
