2. Why is it important to identify and choose the correct
institution to create and distribute a film:
• Its important for me to choose a well known media institution to
distribute my product. Allowing a well-known company to distribute my
thriller, this will bring in bigger audiences to my thriller and it will establish
my thriller in the eyes of the wider audience. Moreover, with the well
known company may already have a loyal audience which they can bring.
• Also allowing a well known media institution to distribute my thriller will
bring more success to it if they have a good representation therefore they
can bring financial rewards as my thriller could be watched by an
international audience.

3. Who would you choose to distribute your
thriller and why?
• I would chose Warner Bros to distribute my film as
they are a well known company and they can
promote my thriller well as they have large funds.
Also another reason why chose this company was
the main inspiration for my thriller came from the
film inception which is a physiological thriller and I
believe that they could make my thriller a success
due to their high budgets and successful films.

5. How are the thrillers similar to your thriller?

The thrillers that Warner Bros have made they are very similar to my thriller and that is why I
have chosen Warner Bros to distribute my thriller as they are know for their thriller releases.
Inception is similar to my thriller as the antagonist has flash backs and the victim wakes up to
discover the antagonist the theme of a dream with in a dream.
Seven is similar to my thriller as there is an obsessive antagonist which cause a lot of grief to
the other characters this is similar as the antagonist in my thriller is very obsessive over he
female victim and he knows where she lives and he also has the keys to her house.
Final destination 5 is very similar to my thriller as death is a very common theme and the
audience know that the characters will dies or at least one character will die. My thriller has
the common theme of death and my thriller audience can guess and have an idea of who will
die in the thriller that being the female victim.
This is why I felt most comfortable in choosing Warner Bros to distribute my thriller as they
have experience in releasing thriller films and they have a good reputation for releasing good
thrillers this would help my thriller be seen by an international audience as Warner Bros will
have a good and loyal audience which will watch my thriller as they know Warner Bros has
released it.

6. What benefit will choosing this institution have on your
media product?
• The benefits in choosing Warner Bros, is that it will give my thriller good
publicity and promotion as the audience will know that if this company is
releasing a film, then it will be good. In addition the Warner Bros company
has already built up a loyal and a large scale of audience who will watch
their films when it comes out so it is a guarantee that a larger audience
will watch my thriller.
• Also Warner Bros is a well respected company and they have released
many thrillers that have been watched and loved by the audience. This
image of the company and the previous releases will attract the audience
to watch my thriller as they know the companies name and they also
know that the previous releases have been outstanding.
