and its light blue instead of a dark and gloomy grey. The women around him are also wearing pink and blue-
neutral positive colours. This could be representative of the fact that he is beginning to rest a bit and it is
not as scary and dangerous anymore in contrast to the constant red and orange we would see before. He is
also in a surburban area with lots of trees and houses too. This shows the simplicity of his life- he is living a
normal surbuban life like everyone else in the 80s. The flash of colours (pink, blue and red) could be
symbolic of the tragedy and shock his powers have bought him.

3. In this scene he is getting ready to run away and is packing his things. He throws the teddy
bear away and leaves it behind- this could show us that he is leaving his childhood behind
and is growing up. The bear could also have been a symbol of his comfort, so whatever
happened at the school took him out of his comfort zone as it has scared him. The room
also has very neutral and dull colours which shows us that he has a boring and repetitive
life as the same colours are used throughout the whole home- orange, beige, brown and
red. His actions may have been an outburst because he is fed up of his boring life and
looking for excitement.

4. This shot is in the beginning of the video and it shows us the boy starting to run away and the teacher calling the police
in fear. She is wearing a yellow jacket which usually has connotations of hope and joy and teachers are usually there to
support their students and be role models. However, in this video she seems to have cast him out and is scared of him,
nothing like what a teacher should do. She is wearing a red shirt underneath which could show us the deception and
betrayal that she is exhibiting by calling the police instead of trying to help the boy. He is also holding the red hat
instead of the blue hat that was shown in the first scene; this may show us that he chooses the danger and fear instead
of choosing to submit, or calmness. The camera shot is also very close up and It is also tracking him

5. In this scene we see the boy run away to the forest and it is very light as it is sunset.
Previously he was in the dark and gloomy as he was running away from the police. He has
now gotten away from everyone and is feeling a little comfort. The light represents the
atmosphere and shows us that everything is slowly coming to an end as it is a sunset. It is a
long shot showing us a wide view of everything around him, as it is in nature. The natural
settings around him could show us that, because of everything that has been going on, he
can no longer stay in his normal environment and has to seek refuge in the forest.
