enthusiastic activists
against any injustice but
when it come to take
actions a list of excuses is
ready to escape any
responsibly.

3. They don’t do good and they
are in the way of people who
trying to be a better person.
Example someone stop
consuming alcohol:
Man, you are still young , your
parties will be boring why you
stop completely you could
consume it time to time.

4. They like to spread pessimism in
the mind of people who are trying to
do good.
Example: this charitable project will
have no success because you are
surrounded with dishonest people,
instead you should think to make a
profitable business and I can help you
to start it.

5. They don’t like to
practice the religion but
they are in the way of
people who want to
practice it
Example if you lady put
hijab: Why You put hijab,
you look older than your
age.

6. They don’t like to give charity but if
there is a fund raising they will put down
people who give a little charity (example
1) or accuse the sincerity of people who
give a big charity (example 2).
Example 1: For this project to be
successful we need people who give a big
charity.
Example 2: In front of this big gathering it
is very embarrassing to give a little
charity.

unbelief. They love the word but.
they used it after they agree with you
to express their duality.
Example 1: it is good that wine is
unlawful but if we think about the
economy……
Example 2: yes Mortgage is bad but
we think about …….

11. They Break promises and
bring excuses to hide their
dishonesty. They can make
you live in a cycle of promises
that ( they will help you,
support you, teach you,
borrow you….) and excuses
that look very legitimates.
This strategy is a snaky way
to tell you NO.

12. Thy like to Show off : they do a
good deed only because they have
an agenda of worldly life gain
behind it.
Example 1: they come to
congregation prayer, but the real
reason is to look for clients for
their businesses.
Example 2: give a donation in
public but the real reason is to
make an ad for their businesses.

13. If they don’t want to submit to any Islamic
rules they use excuses ( example fear to be in
trial) or look for fatwa to keep their images
look acceptable.
Example : I have a tiny home and I have 5
teenager boys and girls and I don’t want to put
them in trial, I have no choice than to buy a
home with mortgage. The reality appear when
all kids grow up and leave the family, but the
parents still keep the home in mortgage even
their excuse vanished.

God” to cover-up
their lies and
dishonesty.

18. Imam Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali said:
“On the authority of Abd-Allah ibn Amr (ra)
that RasulAllah (saw) said: “Four traits
whoever possesses them is a hypocrite and
whoever possesses some of them has an
element of hypocrisy until he leaves it: The
one who when he speaks he lies; when he
promises he breaks his promise; when he
disputes he transgresses; and when he
makes an agreement he violates it.”
