These are forms of hemp or bhang plant (
cannabis sativa) commonly found as wide
plant on waste lands
Charas includes the green leaves of the
plant and hashish(marijuana) includes the
flower tops. Hashish also comes from the
plant juice
Different from of this drug are used
through smoke or in form of drink
3. EFFECTS ON BODY
it reduces the body coordination
It reduces the ability to make decisions
One becomes dizzy, hungry and sleepy
Eyes become red and throat becomes dry
One becomes useless member of society and loses interest in social activities
There is a risk of damage to mouth, throat and lungs
It may cause loss of fertility
4. ALCOHOL
EFFECTS ON BODY:
it causes drowsiness
and dizziness
It causes staggering
and loss of balanced
movements and
concentrations
Continuous
consumption may
cause headache,
nausea and vomiting
It may damage the
liver or brain
It leads to heart
disease and cancer
It is produced by fermentation of fruits,
vegetables or grains. It is present in tonics
and some cough syrups.
5. NARCOTICS
The term is applied to all such compounds
that produced insensibility to external stimuli
as well as internal pains and unrests.
They may be obtained from pium or
charas or bhang.
