2. My target audience
My chosen target audience for my music magazine are for
both male and female teenagers and young adults who
are in the age range of 17 – 25. Also, they must be
interested in acoustic music genre and who have interest
in finding out gigs, concert events, acoustic charts and
who are willing to join small competitions where they
may win tickets to a given band / solo artist gigs. They
also doesn’t have to be in middle class, as long as they
can afford paying £3.00 a month for purchasing my
music magazine.
3. My target audience
In this image, it portrays a young female that
would be interested in my magazine and
would class as one of my target audience.
This is because firstly, the person is wearing
pale like colour clothes which could
symbolise her personality. This is significant
as the theme of this magazine is
acoustic, therefore, my target audience, such
as this person, should look like they are
simple and sophisticated. Another reason is
that this person portrayed on this image
looks like she is in her late teenage years or
early 20’s, which then again fits into my
target audience criteria.
4. My target audience
This image also shows an example of my target
audience. This is because the man that is on the
image are wearing clothes that can be described as a
stereotypical alternative or ‘indie’ person which
again, would fit in to my target audience criteria. The
clothes that this gentlemen is wearing gives out the
impression of slightly adventurous, meaning not
afraid of trying out different aspects of acoustic music
genre. The jeans that he is wearing could be
compared to what other male acoustic singers would
wear. The colour of the jeans also connotates
uniqueness as they are not the typical denim jeans;
this could relate to the whole idea of the magazine
being different to any other types of music magazine.
The gentlemen also look like he is in his early 20’s
which would fit in my target audience age criteria.
5. My target audience
This photo could class as my target
audience because of many reasons. Firstly
because of her hair dress. The flowers on
her hair symbolise the fact that she
interested in acoustic music as it gives a
stereotypical of an ‘indie’ girl. The braids
on her hair also symbolise simplicity
which also is the main aspects of acoustic
music genre. Furthermore, her clothing is
also plain and simple and the colour white
also symbolise tranquillity. Her clothing
in this image could be used as a
stereotypical festival kind of look. Once
again, her age could fit in to my target
audience age.
6. My target audience
This would be another example of my
target audience. This is because of the
clothes that he is wearing. His top
button has been fastened, creating an
impression of elegant and smart. This
fits in with my theme of the magazine
as acoustic music is all about
calm, simple music and this
gentlemen dress sense shows this.
His age also can fit into the age target
audience as the gentlemen look like he
is in his early / middle 20’s.
7. Target audience
This is yet again another example of
my target audience. She is showing
her collar over her jumper which
shows a typical ‘indie’ alternative and
acoustic music fan. Her shorts also
connotates she has style as it is high
wasted which could be
representative as my magazine also
has its own style. Her make up also
can be used as a reason on why she
would fit into my target audience;
this is because of the bold eyeliner
and the red lips, this has similarities
to the famous acoustic / country
singer, Taylor Swift.
8. Target audience
This would be another example of my
target audience yet again because of
his dress sense, all of the colours that
he is wearing are all pastel
colours, which are the main colour
schemes that are used in the
magazine.
His look could be class as a typical
‘indie’ and alternative person.
