Zaw Si Thu has worked as a content developer for 3 months in the Ads.com.mm team in Myanmar while I
was working with Rocket Internet as Country Manager for Ads.com.mm. During those months the team
went through important changes and a steady growth.
The content team, composed of 4 content developers, managed over IffOOO listings, assured quality
control and worked on improvements of our product. This team represents the core competence of our
business: Enabling users to trade for free while generating choice and quality.
During Zaw Si Thu's time in the team listings grew by 85%, quality control was constantly improved by
filtering scams, spams, doublets and the product was completely overhauled in order to further improve
user experience. Beyond these tasks, Zaw Si Thu was also involved in customer service by answering
queries, understanding the user's problem and coming up with a solution or just educating the user on how
to use our product. The fact of having worked with us in the early beginnings gave Zaw a 360° view on the
operations of an e-commerce startup.
Overall I was pleased with Zaw Si Thu in terms of dedication to his work, support to the team's goals, and
participation in team activities such as organization of professional and social events. The assignments were
many and very different, and this required a number of skills such as flexibility, team spirit, being
professional and proactive at all times. Therefore, Zaw Si Thu perfectly met our needs and acquired more
knowledge and skills throughout the time he spent with us.
