4. Why to choose this lesson
plan:
◦ The learners are first year college students majoring in statistics,
therefore, by starting the class, I should provide some basic
questions to warm up students brain.
◦ The best way for stat major students to understand the course
materials is to have one definition/formula with an example. In the
lesson plan I chose, there are many different questions related to
the course material.
◦ There are many practice questions on the lesson plan, which is
very suitable for students majoring statistics.
5. How to adapt the
lesson plan I found:
◦ Add multiple definitions to each questions.
◦ Have detailed steps to solve those questions.
◦ Have as much as images demonstration for some
questions.
◦ Have more practices questions for students.
◦ I can make more notes on the software if any
student have any thoughts.
6. Universal
Design:
◦ First of all, in most of the statistics classes
I take, the teachers and students have a lot
of interactions, because the course material
is always hard to understand. Secondly, by
using the lesson plan I chose, I can have
great interaction with students, and by
providing the details definition and steps to
solve the problem, it is great for those
students who need more time to practice and
go through everything.
