4. Accessing Tutoring Access tutoring through the CME website. The Online tutoring link is active when you are taking a math class*. When your math class ends, this link will become inactive. * The CME currently supports PreAlgebra, Algebra, select Statistics courses, and Math for Educators classes. Accessing Tutoring Choose “Join Live Tutorial” Choose from the list of active tutors (hint: use the tutor with the smallest queue) You may see a welcome screen, or you may see the tutor working with a student. Press the “Ask a question” button. Note: buttons may appear in a different order Center for Mathematics Excellence
6. Working with a Tutor Type your question and click “Submit your Question. ” You can use the toolbar on the left side of the screen if you like. This puts your question in the queue. Tutors answer questions in the order they are submitted. When the tutor is ready to work with you, a bell will ring, and you can both write on the screen together. 7. Tips Float button detaches the screen from the background to enlarge it. After tutorial is finished, you can continue to view or to print out the screen. To return to the queue, click “View Tutorial.” Center for Mathematics Excellence
