Ready for the Piloting!
After successfull International Training in Vienna
After one year, we are ready for the core
activity of the project!
Together with teachers and trainers from all
Europe, the project team has successfully
completed the Transnational Training from
11thtill 13th January in Vienna.
The event was hosted by the Austrian
partner die Berater and had the aim to
explore together the newly developed Toolkit
and create strategies for the Piloting that
already has started in all our partner
countries. The main activity was focused on
discussing the indicators developed in the
Toolkit and how to use them for the Piloting.
The meeting was organised in a hybrid way.
After the training, the transnational partner
meeting on Friday, 14th January gave us the
opportunity to discuss various issues of
project management.

The Piloting will involve students/learners and their teachers/trainers from
Austria, France, Greece, Italy and Sweden. Two groups, one in the local language
and one in English in each country will study with our developed Learning Units
based on a digi-zero concept - this means: no digital tools! The other two groups will
use various digital tools while learning languages. In the end we will see who of
them do better. We are curious to see the results of the Piloting throughout Europe!

What's ILDE about?
The project intends to determine the effectiveness of the use of digital
technologies while learning languages.
We have developed four thematic Learning Units - always in two versions:
one non-digital competence based curriculum (without the use of digital
tools) and one digital one.
An interactive Toolkit will help teachers and trainers in the Piloting giving
them practical advice on how to use the Learning Units and how to use
strategies and various tools.
The Piloting will show if the groups with a digital-based curriculum are
learning faster with better results. The Piloting is the core activity of the
project
