I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation for Vivekananda
Devarahosahalli. In the summer of 2014, Vivek worked as an Industrial Engineer in
the Global Quality department here at Lam Research. He was assigned to a
project team responsible for improving the workstation layout and material
presentation within our Pilot Manufacturing cells here in Fremont. Vivek
effectively utilized his IE knowledge and his lean manufacturing experience to
help the team implement a new cell layout that met our cycle time and
productivity targets.
During his time here at Lam, Vivek proved to be an invaluable team member and
demonstrated great skill, work ethic and enthusiasm. At the conclusion of the
internship, I received positive feedback on his contributions from one of my
Senior IE's as well as from many of the experienced assembly technicians.
