This document discusses different types of values. It defines values as perceptions of what is good/bad or right/wrong. Values are influenced by parents, teachers, peers and develop through learning and experience. They can differ between individuals based on their cultural setting. The document outlines five types of values: theoretical, economic, aesthetic, social and political. It also discusses two main types of values according to Rokeach - terminal values, which are goals or ends, and instrumental values, which are means of achieving those ends. Examples of each type of value are provided.
