COMPONENT
Press Tool- Progressive Tool
When a component is combined with cutting and
noncutting operations, and is developed through the
different stages of a tool, it becomes complex and
requires careful attention in the designing of the tool.
6. FIXTURE By observing industrial problems and studying previous process
of fixture in damping force machine, there is need of designing
new fixture to increase the productivity, reduce the rejection rate
with the loading and unloading process simple and reduce the
fatigue.

7. LEAF JIG
Leaf jigs generally have a hinged jig
plate.
Jig plate can be swung aside to provide
clear path for loading & unloading
workpiece from the top.
Jig plate must have positive resting face
to ensure that the axes of bushes are
vertical during drilling

CRANK ASSEMBLY
A crank is an arm attached
at a right angle to a rotating shaft by
which reciprocating motion is imparted
to or received from the shaft. it is used
to convert circular motion into
reciprocating motion or vice versa. The
arm may be bent portion of the shaft,
or a separate arm or disk attached to
it. Attached to the end of the crank by
a pivot is a rod, usually called a
connecting rod. The end of the rod
attached to the crank moves in a
circular motion, while the other end is
usually constrained to move in a linear
sliding motion.
