 Inviting quotations, placing & processing orders, co-ordination with suppliers of
the company, preparation of periodic MIS reports for the management,

Plant requirement. Po’s along with follow - ups for quick turnaround of Po’s.
 Monitored and coordinated supply chain between various organizations and
suppliers to expedite delivery schedules. Verified and maintained records on
incoming and outgoing shipments to and from suppliers.
 Dealing with the Vendors such that the semi finished components are available at
right time, at right place, with right Quality.
 Involved in the decision-making activities like Make or Buy, Cost Estimation,
Vendor rating & evaluation etc. Counseling with the Vendors about the problems
related to Quality, Delivery and Price etc.
 Purchase of Instrumentation, Automation & Electrical items, Motors, Pumps and

 Monitoring and Coordinating with the suppliers for timely deliveries, Generating
MIS Reports, Developing New and Evaluating Old Vendors.
 Handling Shipments related to Import Purchase, Coordination with CHA for
timely clearance of material.
 Continuous follow up with the freight forwarder /CHA until the entry of the
material received inside the works premises.
 Preparing Tender documents and participation in decision making of NOA
