 Planning and Distribution Management : Make the planning for procurement in line with production schedules and
Customer order schedules. The ware housing arrangements is monitored to suit inventory levels, ware house space and
Production Schedules. In charge of exports of API, Formulated products and samples.
 Ware House Operations: Receive, update with quality for acceptance and Issue the material; Upkeep of all items as per FDA
requirements; Coordinate for Loading for exports; manage all documentations and Audit. Give required reports to finance and
SCM.
 Vendor Development: Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections,
quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms, etc. Overseeing follow-up with vendors for deliverables, and quality
checks & ensuring timely payments.
 Inventory Control: Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met as per organizational guidelines. Managing
operations ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve maximum cost savings without hampering the operations. Designing
strategies for indigenizing products thus saving cost and revenue for the company.
 Import Operations: Overseeing overall import operations involving obtaining import licenses, bill of entry & customs
clearances. Selecting export incentive scheme for maximum benefits, compliance with trade laws, etc.; handling Import
operations - from opening LC / placing orders, coordination with overseas, local suppliers & agencies. Apply for all Duty Free
Schemes (Advance Authorisation, EPCG, DBK, SFIS) , use them and close them with all requirements.
 New product launching: Guide in value-addition & give decision support to Product launch team with key
focus on to new product production planning and distribution planning
 Working capital management & cost management: To manage the SCM cycle time to match with net
working capital guidelines. The minimise advances to suppliers, establish credit controls and work within
budget for every spend as part of cost management.
 Capital Items Procurement: Manage all the Capital procurement for Laboratory, Production and other plant related
requirements including services. Obtain all statutory approvals related to land, power, statutory and drawing approvals.
 Export Operations :Manage all exports from the site. Coordinate with the group across the globe for the import and
export of products for various sites. Appoint the Logistics service provider, monitor and improve their performances.
