consistently gets good traffic - The more factual
and helpful the content is, the more recyclable it
is!

4. Tip 2: Find a new angle

have a new angle. Ask yourself…
– Is there something relevant trending?
– Is there new research or information available?
– Can you look at this topic in another way?
• Update old facts and data
• Can you include a tutorial, checklist or tips within
your article? If so, add it in.
• Expand your tips to extend the life of your
content

Use online forums such as Quora and Reddit to
find what people are talking about. What are they
asking? What opinions do people have?
5. Tip 3: Redo your keyword
research
• Add in newly relevant keywords where possible.
There may be new terms that are relevant to
your content now that were not in use when you
first published the content.
• Update the page title and meta description
• Add updated optimized images

Use tools such as Ahrefs to see what terms the
article is already ranking for. What is missing? What
do you want to be found for?
Search on Google to find related articles and use
Ahrefs to find what they’re ranking for that you’re
not.
6. Tip 4: Try a new format
• Adapt to a new format to attract new audiences
• Recycle your blog into something even more
dynamic. Use the article as inspiration to create a:
– Video
– Infographic
– Slideshare
– Pinterest instructographic
– Podcast
– Turn stats into Twitter posts
– Compile similar articles into a listicle
• There’s a huge number of people who might not
be that into your written content, but would love
it if they could listen to it or watch it.
