2. The Industry I want to work in is Baseball, preferably in the Sportscasting field.
Right now I would like to be able to work in the state of Florida, specifically the
central area.
3. Who Am I?
• I was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, a
northwestern beach & country town, with
strong family roots.
• I became a professional in the pharmaceutical
industry in 1998, and in baseball radio
broadcasting in 2003. Baseball is my passion
and calling.
• Fully bilingual.
• Baseball Data/Statistics Analyst and
Researcher.
• Joined the U.S. Army in 2010, deployed to
Afghanistan from 2011-12. Served for 7 years.
• Currently a student at Full Sail University
under the Dan Patrick Sportscasting program.
4. Skills
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English
language.
• Active listener, give full attention to people.
• Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths
and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions,
or approaches to problems.

5. Profession
I am a baseball broadcaster who does
extensive analysis and research on statistics,
data, and the history of the game and its
players and rules. I’m always looking for the
truth, enjoy sharing my findings, and have very
good attention to detail.
6. Credentials
• Strong knowledge of the game of baseball.
• Hands on broadcasting production,
including live and pre-produced
environments.
• Computer savvy.
• Interested in the aspect of sports television
production.
• Sportscasting Bachelor’s Degree (currently
in process).
7. Promise
• Ability to work extended hours.

• Great interest in sports broadcasting
productions.

• Advanced baseball knowledge.
8. Positioning
• The company that hires me will get a
passionate, experienced, prepared, and
thorough researcher and broadcaster.
• I want my audience to know me because of
my credibility and knowledge of baseball.
• What differs me from others is my
broadcast experience, and the fact that I
was involved directly in baseball for more
than 30 years.
9. Audience
• My audience should be composed of
people from various demographics, but
mostly by older fans. According to Nielsen
ratings, 50% of the baseball audience is
55+ years old.
• I can find my audience on social media, on
the radio or TV.
• I need to be known by people that have
connections in the media.
10. Networking & Marketing
• I will be very active in social media
platforms, to gain attention.
• My plan to create a strong relationship with
my audience includes media interaction,
and the development of a blog and a
podcast.
• The type of content will be focused on the
game of baseball. History, current events,
interviews, small documentaries, statistics,
and entertaining data.
• I would be attending every event that would
help me network with other people from
the industry, and market my brand, from
development opportunities to conventions.
11. Competitors
• I will be competing with individuals that
have completed Bachelor’s Degrees in
Sportscasting.
• I specifically compared myself to Trevino
Beasley, who should be graduating in 2020.
I consider that I have an edge on him with
my experience in broadcasting, and
leadership positions in the Army.
12. Professional Development
• I need to improve my production
knowledge, as well as performing correctly
in front of a camera. I look forward to
reaching out to instructors in Full Sail
University in the upcoming months.
• I will also connect with people I know that
have vast experience in media.
• To stand out, I believe I have to work hard
and not procrastinate. I will use all the
available time I can, but I know it will take
me more than a year.
13. Goals
• I want my brand to become a synonym of
quality, precise information, and value in
the baseball industry.
• I will set up my website and conduct
myself in a professional manner.
• As of know, I’m starting to put my brand in
four major social media platforms. I will
continue to produce quality content and
make connections with individuals in the
industry.
• More importantly, I will constantly pursue
to get better in a my profession, learning
and listening.
