3. ABSTRACT
• Online job portal is website to reduce unemployed people from our country. In this
website there are three main modules Administrator, Employer and
Candidates(jobseeker). The administrator manages the entire application and
maintains the profiles of applicants and employers. Employers can post vacancy
details and update the details as and when necessary. Employers can search through
applicant resumes based on different criteria. When candidates can apply for job after
that from employers side it can receive response though mail(automatically).
Candidates can view job which is posted by an employer and apply for those jobs.
Candidates can also search through filter according to there required of job.
4. EXISTING SYSTEM
• The present system requires applicants to search through print and visual media for
job opportunities. Applicants need to apply for jobs using conventional methods and
appear for interview on a specified date at a specified location. Employers need to
advertise the vacancies and sort all applicant details, conduct selection procedures and
complete the formalities.
• As we have login in Naukri.com we have login in Candidate panel we have go to
search job there is only filter for field name there is no filter for other details.
5. PROPOSED SYSTEM
• The proposed system is a web based application which allows applicants and
employers to register their details. Applicants can browse through the vacancy details
that are posted and can apply for the jobs online. Employers can browse through the
posted resumes and select suitable candidates.
• So as we have compare to Naukri.com there is only filter for field name but in over
system we are adding filter for salary, etc.

• We require internet connection for interacting with database and local computer for
any help or any other requirement.
• OS: Win XP or higher
• RAM: 1 GB
• ROM: 512 GB or higher

• Operating System: - Microsoft Windows® XP and Windows 7.
7. FEASIBILITY STUDY
• Definition: - A feasibility study is an analysis that takes all of a project's relevant
factors into account including economic, technical, legal, and scheduling
considerations to ascertain the likelihood of completing the project successfully.
• Types of Feasibility Study:
• Technical Feasibility: - A technical feasibility study assesses the details of how you
intend to deliver a product or service to customers. Think materials, labour,
transportation, where your business will be located, and the technology that will be
necessary to bring all this together.
• Resource Feasibility:- Describe how much time is available to build the new system,
when it can be built, whether it interferes with normal business operations, type and
amount of resources required, dependencies, and developmental procedures with
company revenue prospectus.
8. FEASIBILITY STUDY
Technical feasibility
• Online job portal is a completely based on software. The main technologies
associated with this software is PHP, AJAX, JQUERY, JAVASCRIPT.
• Each of the technologies are freely available and the technical skills are
manageable. Time limitations of the software development and it is easy for
implementing using these technologies.
• Initially this software will be hosted in a free web hosting space, but for later
implementation it will be hosted some charges. On the basis of that it’s clear
that Online Job Portal software is technically feasible.

• Manage company: - it can manage companies detail and also see candidates list
who had apply for job.
• Manage Candidates: - In this section, admin can view the list of
candidates(jobseeker) and see the detail of individual candidates(jobseeker).

• Login: - Employer can only login through there username and password and it is
new employer then it can first register then only it can login.
• Job posting: - In this section, an employer can post the job details.
• Manage jobs: - in this employer can manage jobs and it can see which candidate had
apply for which job.
• Manage Resumes: - In this section, the employer can view the list of applied
candidates and also see there resumes.

• Login: - Candidates can only login through there username and password and it is
new employer then it can first register then only it can login.
• Search: - In this section, Candidates can search through filter for those requirements
of job.
• Apply jobs:- In this section, Candidates can apply for job and send resume to
employers.
18. TECHNOLOGY DESCRIPTION
Features
• In this software there are three user’s administrator, employer
and candidate[jobseeker].
• Admin can briefly view the total job category, total employer,
total candidates, and total job.
• Employers can post vacancy details and update the details as and
when necessary.
• Employers can search through applicant resumes based on
different criteria.
• Employer can search candidate with the help of passing year and
