• AXIS - imaginary line which runs through the center of the Earth between
the North and South poles where the earth spins on its place.
• ROTATION – movement of earth on its axis.
• 24 HOURS – one complete rotation.
• REVOLUTION – movement of earth around the sun.
• 365 ¼ DAYS – one complete revolution.
• DAY – occurs to the part of earth facing the sun.
• NIGHT – occurs to the part of earth facing away from the sun.
