EFFECTIVENESS OVER TWO DAYS OF ACTIVITIES.

5. Day One Report
• The first day was spent very effectively.
• The pie chart does not totally accurately depict the day.
• Although 65% of the day was in Quadrant 1: Important and Urgent, the pie chart lacks to show
the order of events.
• Things were completed in a timely and very orderly fashion.
6. Day One Analysis
• The day could have been spent more efficiently.
• The majority of hours spent in quadrant one consist of classes and homework.
• The efficiency level was low, as many other things that were important could have been
completed.
• Having 65% of the day in Quadrant 1: Important and Urgent is great, but a bit overkill. Especially
considering that Quadrant 2: Important and Non Urgent only took up 14% of the day.

Breakdown
9. Day Two Report
• Day two was spent much like Day One, with 57% of the day inside of Quadrant One:
Important and Urgent.
• The portion of the day spent in Quadrant 2: Important and Non Urgent, was at 25%, drastically
set apart from Quadrant 3 and Quadrant 4.
• The day was spent very efficiently when the activities are defined.
• The time, of course as always, could have been spent in a more efficient manner.
10. Day Two Analysis
• Day Two was far more efficient than day one.
• Day Two was a good balance between effectiveness and efficiency. It was a much stronger
and healthier balance with the lessening of Quadrant 1: Important and Urgent and the growth
of Quadrant 2: Important and Non Urgent.
• The levels of effectiveness and efficiency were higher than day one. The fact that the sizes of
the quadrants that were supposed to grew did grow and those that should have shrank did, is
positive.
11. Conclusion
Overall, my time is being spent
very effectively. The levels of
efficiency could be brought up by
improving on procrastination.
Many of the items in Quadrant
One can easily be moved to
Quadrant Two by tackling them
earlier on.
Looking and actually examining
my time is a great clarification of
how I am and should be
organizing my life.
