My business partner and I have establisheda highly successful hospitalitybusiness onthe pristine
Rockingham Beach Foreshore.Selling community,not just beer, was our missionstatement! It was
all about doing this in a safe, fun and comfortable and responsible environment. I also
participatedas a member of the Rockingham TourismBoard, promoting Rockingham while
working withother industryleaders to promote Rockingham as a destination.
Whilst at the RBar, I organized a special awards lunch for Julia Gillard,art exhibitions fromlive
drawing Artist ‘Andy Quilty’whose work is held in a number of state collections,as well as selling art
for local artists ona non-commissionbasis.
Management tasks included the day to day running of the business, including staff training,team
building, budgeting and target setting,marketing and promotions,event conceptualizationand
management, strategyand new business development. Including booking live music and
entertainment.
My overarching focus was to ensure staff motivatedandengaged withthe values and the mission
of the business to ensure that they deliveredthe customer experience we expected. This was our
key success factor to ensure customer loyaltyand positive wordof mouth. Strong retentionof key
staff was a testimonyto our strong management approach.
I am a self-starter,motivatedand forwardthinker. I love to make people feel at ease and get
great satisfactioninseeing them have a great time. A passionfor service andqualityhas been the

Marketing and Sales Manager
I Blinds was a provider of high-end window treatments,offering solutions for leading designers and
architects for the use of these products in design projects. The role involvedsales,marketing and
account management.
Key accountabilities includedthe management and achievement of monthlysales targets and
stock management. Tasks included providing recommendations and guidance to customers on
appropriate products for specific applications. Providing quotations andcoordinationof
installations. I was also in charge of the day-to-day management of the showroom.

Residential Account Manager
Sales and account management. Managing key accounts for Verosol Australia. This included
maintaining existing client relationships and new business development.

Introducedthe FreshCoffee Roast to Sydney, helping create a recognizedbrand in an extremely
competitive market. I was responsible for sales,promotions,marketing,and training of Baristas.
Allpress was establishedas a key player in the Australiancoffee market.
