3. In April 2019, Research and Markets, the world's largest
searchable database of market research resources,
published a report titled “Global Medical Technologies
Industry Predictions 2019-2024.” The report predicts four
themes will develop over the next five years as the result of
current growth opportunities in the medical technology
industry.

4. The first theme is patient centricity, or the designing of
services or solutions around the patient. The report says that
45 percent of start-ups and 25 percent of top companies are
