 PURPOSE:
 This Policy is
– to provide an instruction which should be used by employees to
facilitate a local understanding of acceptable business gifts, in order to
support the adherence to the Business Code of Practice;
– to eliminate the risk of incorrect practices that stem from variations in
personal interpretations of what constitutes acceptable business gifts.

 GENERAL:
– Business gifts are offered or accepted only in accordance with local
legislation and business practice.
– It should always be a clear reason for offering or accepting business
gifts such as are:
– state holidays (Lunar,Nadaam, etc.)
– exhibition or trade fair
– company / product / service presentation, seminar, conference
– company’s jubilee.

 GENERAL:
– Branded giveaways are the most recommended as gifts to/from
customers / business partners. Typical gifts are USB sticks, pens and
pen sets, equipment scale models, watches, diaries, notepads,
calendars, shirts, caps, key rings, stationery stuff.
– The gift can never be given or accepted in money: neither in cash,
neither in check nor in any form of prepaid or cashable tickets.
– The gift should always be given or accepted in a transparent way and
never behind closed doors.

 GENERAL:
– In case of offering or accepting alcohol as a business gift, the price of it
should not exceed USD 70 or the equivalent in MNT.
– No gift with a value over 70 USD or the equivalent in MNT should not
be accepted, without General Director’s approval.
– All gifts received with a value over 70 USD or the equivalent in MNT
must be documented in a gift protocol by BC with information like Giver,
Receiver, Value and Date.

 GENERAL:
 Offering business gifts to customers / business partners.
– The gift should always be given in the name of Atlas Copco to the
Company and never personally addresses.
– All business gifts should be of good quality. They can be as produced
locally in accordance with the requirements of Atlas Copco brand
identity manual or ordered from the Group's outsourced provider.
 Accepting business gifts from business partners.
– In order not to promote other brands it is strongly recommended to use
the business gifts on your private environment rather than in the
business.
– Business gifts accepted which do not meet the above criteria for what is
allowed should be returned to the sender, with a polite phone call or
letter. If this is not possible the gift belongs to the company.

  • 2. 6/6/2016 Atlas Copco Group Presentation 2  PURPOSE:  This Policy is – to provide an instruction which should be used by employees to facilitate a local understanding of acceptable business gifts, in order to support the adherence to the Business Code of Practice; – to eliminate the risk of incorrect practices that stem from variations in personal interpretations of what constitutes acceptable business gifts.   • 3. 6/6/2016 Atlas Copco Group Presentation 3  GENERAL: – Business gifts are offered or accepted only in accordance with local legislation and business practice. – It should always be a clear reason for offering or accepting business gifts such as are: – state holidays (Lunar,Nadaam, etc.) – exhibition or trade fair – company / product / service presentation, seminar, conference – company’s jubilee.   • 4. 6/6/2016 Atlas Copco Group Presentation 4  GENERAL: – Branded giveaways are the most recommended as gifts to/from customers / business partners. Typical gifts are USB sticks, pens and pen sets, equipment scale models, watches, diaries, notepads, calendars, shirts, caps, key rings, stationery stuff. – The gift can never be given or accepted in money: neither in cash, neither in check nor in any form of prepaid or cashable tickets. – The gift should always be given or accepted in a transparent way and never behind closed doors.   • 5. 6/6/2016 Atlas Copco Group Presentation 5  GENERAL: – In case of offering or accepting alcohol as a business gift, the price of it should not exceed USD 70 or the equivalent in MNT. – No gift with a value over 70 USD or the equivalent in MNT should not be accepted, without General Director’s approval. – All gifts received with a value over 70 USD or the equivalent in MNT must be documented in a gift protocol by BC with information like Giver, Receiver, Value and Date.   • 6. 6/6/2016 Atlas Copco Group Presentation 6  GENERAL:  Offering business gifts to customers / business partners. – The gift should always be given in the name of Atlas Copco to the Company and never personally addresses. – All business gifts should be of good quality. They can be as produced locally in accordance with the requirements of Atlas Copco brand identity manual or ordered from the Group's outsourced provider.  Accepting business gifts from business partners. – In order not to promote other brands it is strongly recommended to use the business gifts on your private environment rather than in the business. – Business gifts accepted which do not meet the above criteria for what is allowed should be returned to the sender, with a polite phone call or letter. If this is not possible the gift belongs to the company. GIFT POLICY
