1. COLLABORATIVE ACTION AGAINST CORRUPTION
• Objective:
• 3 days modular training and discussion among 60 private and public representatives;
• Identification of main causes of bribery and corruption, role of stakeholders in implementation of
National Anti-Corruption Strategy
• Actions taken:
• Collected comments, feedback, concern from BCM members and public sector representatives;
• Developed a draft recommendation;
• Had a meeting with Mr. L. Enkhbold Member of the Parliament and Mrs. Namuungerel General
Advisor to Mr. L. Oyun-Erdene Member of the Parliament.
2. FEEDBACK FROM POLICY MAKERS
• Objective:
• To voice BCM members’ concern to
policy makers;
• Engage the Parliament for constructive
dialogue.
• Actions taken:
• BCM position statement on tax increase
was developed and delivered to 76 MPs;
• Outcome:
• Mr. Ts. Nyamdorj, Deputy Speaker of the
Parliament, requested Mr. Ch.
Khurelbaatar, Chair of Budget Standing
Committee, to review BCM position
statement and provide official feedback.
3. INVESTMENT BANKING DRAFT
LAW
• Objective:
• To ensure BCM members concern are
addressed in development and discussion
of Investment Banking Draft Law.
• Actions taken:
• BCM Invest Mongolia FG developed
recommendation and concern regarding the
draft law;
• Recommendation was delivered to 76 MPs.
• Outcome:
• Mongolian People’s Party Caucus
expressed gratitude for continuous
collaboration in discussing various topics
and draft laws.
• BCM recommendation was delivered to
relevant standing committees and working
groups.
• Mr. B. Javkhlan, MP, and Draft law
initiator acknowledged BCM
recommendation and stated BCM position
will be reflected for draft law discussion.
Also he delegated duty to Mrs. Z.
Narantuya, MP, Working Group Head.

including double tax treaty,
reverse value added tax ,
withholding tax for non-
resident companies
incomes,
• Around 175 taxpayers
representatives from 90
companies participated

• Awareness of needed tax
knowledge and experience
on cross border contract
would allow taxpayers to
mitigate their tax risk in
advance and say own
opinion and proposal for
an improvement of related
tax legislation
