Quality Manager (NEC Visual Solutions Project & Exterion Media) in Partnership with Phoenix

June 2015 – Current
Contract Quality Manager for NEC, overseeing and initiating Quality for a project to develop and
build HDMI digital image video projection of advertising media using NEC equipment, fabricated
into units developed and constructed by Harp Vision Systems for installation in the controlled
platform environment of the London Underground and ground level public transport stations.
Utilising quality system skills in DFMEA, PFMEA, P.D.C.A, Process development, Quality System
development supporting a design and manufacturing specialist team.
Putting in place a controlled manufacturing process involving specification review; change
management; supply chain activity; logistics; kitting; administration of orders; generation of
standard operational procedures and training, to meet the needs of Exterion Media and the
constraints of London Underground.
Quality Technician Meggitt System Sensors 2014 – May 2015
(Fixed term contract role)
Manufacture of integrated sensor packages and temperature and rotational speed sensors for
aerospace.
Part of a continues improvement team developing prevention and detection solutions to support
the growth and capability of the quality department, including elements of SAP configuration;
developing improvements to Customer Eyes Over-checking; evaluating data & developing report
solutions; providing work to guides for training and reference; sourcing and evaluation of advanced
measuring equipment leading to purchase & commissioning.
Quality Engineer Eaton Aerospace 2012 - 2014
Repair and manufacture of fuel and support systems for aircraft
Initially in customer support responsible for ensuring compliance to aerospace Quality
accreditation's for the global customer base of Eaton Titchfield inclusive of military and domestic
airworthiness requirements, capability management, auditing, control of nonconformance and
corrective preventative actions, hosting customer and airworthiness audits, monitoring and
reporting quality performance of process areas, coaching and development of improvement needs,
customer and supplier interface. More recently deployed in new manufacturing area ensuring
investigations into nonconformance are applied correctly with root cause defined and CAPA follow
up activity.
Recovery from heart surgery 2011 - 2012
Following a change in employment my health had taken a turn for the worse resulting in surgery

Responsible for Improving and Maintaining Quality through continuous improvement techniques
driven with visible management tools and PDCA activity, in a new manufacturing aerospace facility
producing components and final assemblies for propulsion system accessories incorporating on-
site test facilities. This demanding workshop based role involves communication with senior
management through KPI report presentations and corporate communication with customers and
suppliers, overseeing validation of new and changed products to AS9100 EN9102 requirements
