I will plan with the actors, the types of shots, posters and DVD concept
for the Component 3, production blog.
Here, there will be a discussion on what days I will need them, and the
locations, clothing, look they need to portray to fit the narrative/ genre
of the film DVD cover and two posters.
Date: 23rd July 2018
Shots/ filming for the DVD cover will take place.
These shots/ locations will be taken in London – e.g. busy crowds, iconic
buildings
Date: 27th July 2018
Shots/ filming for the film posters will take place.
There will be different shots/ filming and locations used for the two
posters (one portrait/ one landscape and two different countries)
These shots will be taken in a park – Hyde Park London as well as
London, with buildings etc.

3. Date: 31st July 2018
I will use a camera along with two actors (one male and one female) to portray the
protagonists within my DVD/ Poster.
Scenery will include a park, and buildings, preferably in London.
Date: 3rd August 2018
I will begin edit on my own on a computer, the shots taken from previous days, to meet
the concepts for the film DVD cover and the two posters.
These edits will include reconstructing the size of shots and cropping images.
Date: 7th August 2018
I will continue to edit images/ shots, this time I will use a template for the DVD cover and
begin to rearrange all the images onto the DVD cover.

4. Date: 9th August 2018
I will select the shots/ images for the film posters and rearrange these onto a film poster
template. I will then select two different images for the two separate countries these posters
are being aimed at.
Date: 11th August 2018
I will edit all shots used on the DVD cover and film poster, in terms of colour, shade, lighting
etc. I will also ensure these are all done, and the template for the official DVD cover and film
poster is made.
Date: 12th August 2018
I will ensure elements/ aspects of a DVD are included on the cover in terms of logos, directors,
ratings, age rating, critical opinions/ quotes etc. I will then do the same to both two film
posters.

5. Date: 14th August 2018
I will complete the spine and back cover of the DVD. This will include images, texts, logos
etc.
The posters will have further editing with final checks to colours, shadows, fonts etc.
Date: 15th August 2018
I will complete a final check on the DVD covers, both front and back and the two posters.
Date: 17th August 2018
I will pick two actors (one male and one female) and show them a plan for the audio
visual. This will include the topic, and nature as well as the type of questions which
would be used in the podcast. There would be a run through.

6. Date: 19th August 2018
I will record an audio of 2 mins and 30 seconds, with one male and one female. This will be used to promote the DVD and film
posters.
Date: 20th August 2018
I will look over the audio, and change aspects to enhance the interview, in terms of pace, sound, pitch etc.
Date: 21st August 2018
I will finish editing the audio, making finishing touches, in terms of length of audio, and the overall experience it may have to an
audience. Therefore, I will pick a small focus group, and gain feedback of what they thought of the audio, and the ways in which it has
met and perhaps not met the target audience.

I will make the finishing touches of audio, posters and DVD before presenting as my final component 3, film blog.
