17. SMID Bihor (Integrated waste management system)
• This project solves operational and environmental problems
caused by waste generation and management, such as an
integrated waste management system is elaborated.
Sorting stations are designed for the following capabilities:
• BEIU : 7000 tonnes/year, operable 260 days a year with 1 eight-
hour shift, thus 26.7 tonnes/day or about 3.3 tons/hour.
• MARGHITA: 4,500 tonnes/year, operable 260 days a year with 1
six-hour shift, thus 17.3 tonnes/day or about 2.9 tonnes/hour.
• SALONTA: 4,500 tonnes/year, operable 260 days a year with 1
six-hour shift, thus 17.3 tonnes/day or about 2.9 tonnes/hour
Transfer stations are designed for the following
capabilities:
• BEIU : 16.100 tonnes/year , operable 312 days a year
with 1 eight-hour shift
• MARGHITA: 10.600 tonnes/year, operable 312 days a
year with 1 eight-hour shift
• SALONTA: 9.900 tone/year, operable 312 days a year
with 1 eight-hour shift
• S CUIENI: 13.000 tone/year, operable 312 days a year
with 1 eight-hour shift
• STEI: 3.500 tone/year, operable 312 days a year with 1
