Welcome everyone. Today my presentation topic is 3D modelling with revit structure. Presented by myself, roll 1423023
Here is the content of my presentation
My project is a 21 shape 4 storied residential building whose area is 4 katha and minimum requirements are 2 bedroom and 1 living room. Here is the ground floor plan and this is the first floor plan
These are some rendering 3D views of my project from different angle
To import CAD file at Revit structure, I have following these steps and this is the imported file of my project.
At first, only two level was at the model. Then I have created another 3 level at the distance of 10’ and plinth level at the bottom whose distance is 6’ from level 1
Next I have placed concrete rectangular column of 12x18 in. and concrete round column of 12 in. at level 2 by following these steps and as per rules of Revit structure, the base of columns are at level 1. This is column layout.
Then I have created concrete rectangular beams of 12x24 in by the same procedure and copy and paste columns and beams to other levels.
Then I have created foundation slab which thickness is 6”.
Then I have placed two types of footing- 4 pile in a pile cap and rectangular footing . This one is footing layout and this is 3D view of whole structure.
After this, I have applied loads onto structure. Two types of load is given- Dead load of 100 psf and Live load of 40 psf. This is the analytical model of my project
Finally I have transferred Revit file to Robot Structural Analysis. After selecting Robot structural analysis link, this dialogue box has occurred and clicking to ok, the model has been transferred.
These are models of robot structural analysis.
I have faced problems to design the building because of its shape and also giving stairs.
