Work Preferences
Tanya Khandzhiyev
Overview
Tanya is a high achiever who enjoys being the knowledgeable authority on any
subject. Finishing No. 1 gives her the control over her destiny that she loves to
have. That's because she is an independent, solitary achiever who knows what
she wants and where she wants to go most of the time. She likes to interact
intellectually with other people and employees, particularly around strategic
and tactical planning. Also, she is exceptionally adept at developing options
when straightforward logic hits a wall while she is attempting to resolve a
problem or situation.
She can be both a creative visionary and a logical, pragmatic thinker and
planner. She always needs these three questions answered before she can
begin to grasp the "whole" of an idea, action or awareness:
"What's the objective or task?"
"Why is something happening?"
"How does something work?"
Whatever Tanya is thinking about has to meet the rational/idealistic criteria of
analysis, precision and whole systems, and its futuristic direction has to have a
historical and factual basis. If it does not meet all of these criteria, she is first
skeptical and then rigidly non-accepting. In fact, she can be the ultimate skeptic
who won't be moved to any action without "all her ducks in a row."
Overall, she can be a pragmatic realist who can get people to do what she
wants, clearly explaining what needs to be accomplished, how to proceed and
why it is necessary to do it now. To make sure her directives are clear so that
everyone exceeds the goal and meets the deadlines, she will have set up
detailed, logical communications about individual and team actions. To ensure
that success is achieved on time, she may suggest some "out of the box"
alternatives for people to implement in case they hit a roadblock using their
original directives.
Learning Style
Tanya is the consummate, high-achieving learner who relishes breaking the
curve in any class. Finishing No. 1 and becoming an authority nourishes her
need to control her destiny and to function as an independent, solitary and self-
determined achiever.
Intellectually curious and always trying to feed her mind, she loves to read and
think and her intellectual pursuits are all over the map. She is likely to read
fiction, non-fiction, magazines, classical literature, biographies, business
strategies — just about anything from which she feels she can learn. She will
take something from book A, book B and book C and come up with a new idea.
She loves cross-fields of study and discovering things on her own.
For her, learning is both serious and fun. She can become bored and arrogant if
the information provided is slow in development and not intellectually playful
and challenging. She feels that life is a classroom with never-ending
opportunities to learn and she is the ultimate, lifelong student.
Leadership
Because Tanya is an excellent strategist and communicator, she may find
herself in leadership roles. She leads people by knowing where they fit into the
bigger picture. By formulating strategies and relationships with key people in
her own and others' organizations, she can achieve what seems to be
impossible.
Her leadership style is attractive because before she asks others to do
something, she lays out the project in detail so it makes sense and is easy to
follow. When problems arise, she can be very creative in finding, or helping
others to find, options for handling them. Overall, her mannerisms and ways of
communicating are clear and personable. People will follow her in difficult
situations because they realize she is a creative problem-solver who can find
the best path to success for everyone involved.
Sales Orientation
Like management, sales is an area in which she can excel. Her sense of
discipline and competition and her desire to become No.1 are natural assets for
a salesperson. She will develop leads and follow through on them. Her
paperwork will be done on time and used as a reference for future trends. She
takes a tactical approach to sales and marketing, using knowledge of her
Page 2 of 17
product and the competition's to deal with objections. Because she handles
rejection extremely well, she won't take it personally when someone does not
want what she is selling. With her powers of persuasion, she can be an
outstanding closer, and, of course, she will be unstoppable.

Tanya Khandzhiyev
Above all else remember:
Tanya learns by asking "Why?"
Her Learning Keys
She learns best through logical associations: cause and effect, hypothesis
and conclusion. She relates to facts and processes information best when
it is presented in linear sequences.
She is an intensely critical thinker, always on the lookout for
inconsistencies, and she rarely accepts anything at face value. She insists
on thorough analysis.
She is likely to have excellent listening skills and a good verbal memory,
but she probably also has no tolerance for imprecision or inaccuracy.
She can be impatient with tardiness, inconsistency or disorder and may be
abrupt in those instances.
Her need to be accurate is much greater than her need to express her
opinion. Do not expect her to offer voluntary feedback or spontaneous
reactions.
She learns through factual information, not through social exercises. For
example, role playing and personal stories can be stressful.
Strategies for Efficiency and Effectiveness
Insist on excellence! Be punctual, precise, and well prepared. Don't
waste time.
Create and adhere to an outline that is clear and specific. You must
always follow each topic through to a logical conclusion.
Use data and facts to back up your main points, theories, and opinions.
Plan your presentation. People with high scores in this Dynamic don't
appreciate improvisation. Do the following:
1. Introduce what you are going to do and why you are doing it.
2. Ask specific questions to illicit clear and immediate feedback.
3. At the end, summarize what has happened.
4. Ask her to evaluate the experience.
5. Give direct, rational feedback when appropriate.
Remain serious and thoughtful. Humor, anecdotes, and digressions
Page 4 of 17
will turn her off.
Explain the social component. If her intensity in the Excite Dynamic is
Stress or at the lower end of Deliberate, she may not find it easy to relate
to other people on a personal level, and equally important, may
sometimes not perceive key "people issues." You may be helpful if you
put a light on the emotional aspect of things, more than you think would be
necessary.
As part of your broader relationship, develop practices that help her
learn:
1. How to become more aware of herself and others when she is
relating feelings and understandings.
2. What cues and processes to use in social contexts, and
3. Why these nuances and processes are important to success and
satisfaction.

DESCRIPTION:
The focus of this Dynamic is both internal and external. Internal focus evaluates
feelings of satisfaction and self-worth. External focus evaluates feelings of success

feelings of satisfaction and self-worth. External focus evaluates feelings of success
and how one appears to others.
ORIENTATION:
This Dynamic asks all the open-ended questions - the ones that start with "Who,"
What," "Why" and "How."
APPLICATION:
Examine the process just completed according to these criteria: Where were
individual and group strengths put to their best use? Where was productivity at its
best, and where was it at its worst? Where was the work energized, and where did the
energy dip? Repeat this advice for every Dynamic.
PERFORMANCE:
Take a careful look at whether you're free to move on to a new subject or process, or
whether you should repeat what you've been working on. Before any process begins,
think about what you would consider an ideal outcome. When the work is over,
compare the results with that ideal result.

Time Map
This map shows how a person
prefers to spend their time on any
job, role, or task.
There are two things to know: first,
how a person experiences time,
and objectively how much time
they allocate each given phase of
any task.

1st Dynamic How Tanya experiences time in 1st Dynamic
Focus is on the future.
Tanya likes to consider possible outcomes, but not at
the expense of present concerns.
Rhythm is slow and
stretches over time.
She appreciates working where time is not a critical
factor. She has patience when unexpected problems
arise with people or projects.
Time for a change.
She weaves creative solutions and options if she sees
that these new implementations save time and create
overall success.

Tanya can work effectively here for varying periods of time before the
attraction of other Dynamics pulls her away.
2nd Dynamic How Tanya experiences time in 2nd Dynamic
Focus is on the present.
She may become edgy if forced to dwell exclusively
in the present.
Rhythm has a jazz-like
time signature.
Tanya can work at an unsteady and spontaneous
rhythm but it will begin to feel too chaotic if she does
this for long periods of time.
Living in the moment.
Learning to spend more time in the "now" may
provide more opportunities for spontaneity and
lightness.
Time for relating is time
well spent.
She has to put an effort into relating on a more
emotional and intuitive level. This creates healthier
relationships and a more real sense of community.

Performance Cycle
This offers a view of process as a
Cycle instead of a straight line.
This can assist a person in seeing
their process as a repeated
pattern. Understanding their
process preferences, and
strategies for the lower energy
phases are keys to success and
satisfaction.

1st Dynamic Properties What Tanya experiences in 1st Dynamic
BEGINNING:
1st Dynamic marks the beginning of the
Performance Cycle. This is the point at which
awareness, new ideas and perceptions are
generated. They will become realities in the
following Dynamics.
When Tanya enters the 1st Dynamic, her energy
level and awareness increase. She frees up this
energy when she brainstorms, creates and
innovates.
SETTING:
In this Dynamic, the setting has neither
boundaries nor order and logic.
This is exclusively the realm of awareness,
connections and ideas. She is relaxed in this
space.
FOR A TEAM:
For a team, this is the stage where the focus is on
brainstorming and on identifying options.
She offers the team an abundance of awareness,
ideas and creative solutions.
CONCLUSION:
The culmination of 1st Dynamic should be a
renewed vigor that fosters fresh and creative
ideas as it moves into 2nd Dynamic.
She allows the necessary time and space for the
creative potential of the 1st Dynamic to run its
course.

type of energy is required by the situation.
SETTING:
The setting for this Dynamic is positive, warm and
light, involving camaraderie, sharing and
enthusiasm.
Tanya enjoys some elements of this Dynamic.
She can radiate enthusiasm for as long as it
takes to "sell" an idea or awareness.
FOR A TEAM:
This Dynamic should foster increased unity within
the team that can increase efficiency and
provide foundational support for action over the
long term.
She puts time and energy into feelings, people
and developing community. However, it may take
a concerted effort for her to constantly maintain
these multiple relationships.
CONCLUSION:
At the conclusion of the 2nd Dynamic the idea
has acquired enough energy and excitement for
the rigorous processing of 3rd Dynamic.
She must purposefully heightens and focuses
ideas so that they possess enough energy to shift
into the planning stage.

Tanya is Effortless
Energy: Balanced energy
Time: Spends appropriate amount of time
3rd Dynamic Properties What Tanya experiences in 3rd Dynamic
BEGINNING:
3rd Dynamic subjects the now energized idea or
ideas to a thorough refining and critical-review
process.
She enters the 3rd Dynamic with great interest in
getting down to the precision and logic of
planning.
SETTING:
The setting of this Dynamic is characterized by
logical procedures and rules, limits and
boundaries.
She voluntarily involves herself in the confines
that the 3rd Dynamic creates.
FOR A TEAM:
At this stage, the team focuses on how the idea
can be effectively integrated with existing
budgets, timetables and operational standards.
Institutional data is used to define this idea
according to realistic objectives.
Tanya adds value to the team with her natural
ability to define structures and standards. She is
unreserved about giving or taking criticism.
CONCLUSION:
At the end of 3rd Dynamic the new idea should
be clearly defined, positioned within the
organizational context and ready for action and
realization in 4th Dynamic.
She satisfies the demands for a secure and solid
plan, which she needs to move forward into 4th
Dynamic.

4th Dynamic Properties What Tanya experiences in 4th Dynamic
BEGINNING:
4th Dynamic puts 3rd Dynamic's strategic
planning into action.
She is essentially primed to get through the very
productive 4th Dynamic. She easily implements
plans within deadlines and other boundaries.
SETTING:
The setting in this Dynamic is one of
concentrated effort, speed and achievement.
Tanya's energy and rhythm are relaxed while
she makes the effort that is required in the 4th
Dynamic.
FOR A TEAM:
This stage propels the team toward rapid
completion of the chosen objectives. It demands
accountability and requires task-oriented focus.
She gets the team to the finish line. She will
always keep the focus on the task at hand and do
so without reservation.
CONCLUSION:
Upon completion of 4th Dynamic, externally
verifiable results should be presented for
assessment in 5th Dynamic (Evaluate).
She gets great satisfaction when she checks off
the actions that have been completed.

Cycle
This is a universal Dynamic that requires each individual to reflect on the
preceding Cycle and anticipate the next.
BEGINNING:
The beginning of 5th dynamic marks an end of one Cycle and the beginning of the
next. As you enter this Dynamic, be prepared to critique the work that's been done in
the previous four.
SETTING:
The setting of this Dynamic is reflective and analytical. What worked and what did not
work in the previous Dynamics?
FOR A TEAM:
This is the point in the Cycle that presents the greatest potential for team
improvement. As a group, look at how the process worked. Was the group aware of
its process in the moment? Which individuals dealt well with their stress factors? Who
stepped up?
CONCLUSION:
The conclusion of 5th Dynamic asks the question, "Is there success and satisfaction?"
If the answer is yes, move on to a new Cycle. If the answer is no, look at what went
wrong. Make modifications and repeat the Cycle.

Tanya's Work Preferences

  • 1. Work Preferences Tanya Khandzhiyev Overview Tanya is a high achiever who enjoys being the knowledgeable authority on any subject. Finishing No. 1 gives her the control over her destiny that she loves to have. That's because she is an independent, solitary achiever who knows what she wants and where she wants to go most of the time. She likes to interact intellectually with other people and employees, particularly around strategic and tactical planning. Also, she is exceptionally adept at developing options when straightforward logic hits a wall while she is attempting to resolve a problem or situation. She can be both a creative visionary and a logical, pragmatic thinker and planner. She always needs these three questions answered before she can begin to grasp the "whole" of an idea, action or awareness: "What's the objective or task?" "Why is something happening?" "How does something work?" Whatever Tanya is thinking about has to meet the rational/idealistic criteria of analysis, precision and whole systems, and its futuristic direction has to have a historical and factual basis. If it does not meet all of these criteria, she is first skeptical and then rigidly non-accepting. In fact, she can be the ultimate skeptic who won't be moved to any action without "all her ducks in a row." Overall, she can be a pragmatic realist who can get people to do what she wants, clearly explaining what needs to be accomplished, how to proceed and why it is necessary to do it now. To make sure her directives are clear so that everyone exceeds the goal and meets the deadlines, she will have set up detailed, logical communications about individual and team actions. To ensure that success is achieved on time, she may suggest some "out of the box" alternatives for people to implement in case they hit a roadblock using their original directives. Learning Style Page 1 of 17
  • 2. Tanya is the consummate, high-achieving learner who relishes breaking the curve in any class. Finishing No. 1 and becoming an authority nourishes her need to control her destiny and to function as an independent, solitary and self- determined achiever. Intellectually curious and always trying to feed her mind, she loves to read and think and her intellectual pursuits are all over the map. She is likely to read fiction, non-fiction, magazines, classical literature, biographies, business strategies — just about anything from which she feels she can learn. She will take something from book A, book B and book C and come up with a new idea. She loves cross-fields of study and discovering things on her own. For her, learning is both serious and fun. She can become bored and arrogant if the information provided is slow in development and not intellectually playful and challenging. She feels that life is a classroom with never-ending opportunities to learn and she is the ultimate, lifelong student. Leadership Because Tanya is an excellent strategist and communicator, she may find herself in leadership roles. She leads people by knowing where they fit into the bigger picture. By formulating strategies and relationships with key people in her own and others' organizations, she can achieve what seems to be impossible. Her leadership style is attractive because before she asks others to do something, she lays out the project in detail so it makes sense and is easy to follow. When problems arise, she can be very creative in finding, or helping others to find, options for handling them. Overall, her mannerisms and ways of communicating are clear and personable. People will follow her in difficult situations because they realize she is a creative problem-solver who can find the best path to success for everyone involved. Sales Orientation Like management, sales is an area in which she can excel. Her sense of discipline and competition and her desire to become No.1 are natural assets for a salesperson. She will develop leads and follow through on them. Her paperwork will be done on time and used as a reference for future trends. She takes a tactical approach to sales and marketing, using knowledge of her Page 2 of 17

With her powers of persuasion, she can be an outstanding closer, and, of course, she will be unstoppable. Page 3 of 17
  • 4. Learning Preferences Tanya Khandzhiyev Above all else remember: Tanya learns by asking "Why?" Her Learning Keys She learns best through logical associations: cause and effect, hypothesis and conclusion. She relates to facts and processes information best when it is presented in linear sequences. She is an intensely critical thinker, always on the lookout for inconsistencies, and she rarely accepts anything at face value. She insists on thorough analysis. She is likely to have excellent listening skills and a good verbal memory, but she probably also has no tolerance for imprecision or inaccuracy. She can be impatient with tardiness, inconsistency or disorder and may be abrupt in those instances. Her need to be accurate is much greater than her need to express her opinion. Do not expect her to offer voluntary feedback or spontaneous reactions. She learns through factual information, not through social exercises. For example, role playing and personal stories can be stressful. Strategies for Efficiency and Effectiveness Insist on excellence! Be punctual, precise, and well prepared. Don't waste time. Create and adhere to an outline that is clear and specific. You must always follow each topic through to a logical conclusion. Use data and facts to back up your main points, theories, and opinions. Plan your presentation. People with high scores in this Dynamic don't appreciate improvisation. Do the following: 1. Humor, anecdotes, and digressions Page 4 of 17
  • 5. will turn her off. Explain the social component. If her intensity in the Excite Dynamic is Stress or at the lower end of Deliberate, she may not find it easy to relate to other people on a personal level, and equally important, may sometimes not perceive key "people issues." You may be helpful if you put a light on the emotional aspect of things, more than you think would be necessary. As part of your broader relationship, develop practices that help her learn: 1. How to become more aware of herself and others when she is relating feelings and understandings. 2. What cues and processes to use in social contexts, and 3. Why these nuances and processes are important to success and satisfaction. Page 5 of 17

ORIENTATION: This Dynamic asks all the open-ended questions - the ones that start with "Who," What," "Why" and "How." APPLICATION: Examine the process just completed according to these criteria: Where were individual and group strengths put to their best use? Where was productivity at its best, and where was it at its worst? Where was the work energized, and where did the energy dip? Repeat this advice for every Dynamic. PERFORMANCE: Take a careful look at whether you're free to move on to a new subject or process, or whether you should repeat what you've been working on. Before any process begins, think about what you would consider an ideal outcome. When the work is over, compare the results with that ideal result. Page 9 of 17
  • 10. Time Map Tanya Khandzhiyev Tanya Khandzhiyev Time Map This map shows how a person prefers to spend their time on any job, role, or task. There are two things to know: first, how a person experiences time, and objectively how much time they allocate each given phase of any task. 1 EXPLORE Time Map Tanya is Effortless Time flies when Tanya is engaged in this Dynamic but she intuitively knows when to end her work here and move on. 1st Dynamic How Tanya experiences time in 1st Dynamic Focus is on the future. Tanya likes to consider possible outcomes, but not at the expense of present concerns. Rhythm is slow and stretches over time. She appreciates working where time is not a critical factor. She has patience when unexpected problems arise with people or projects. Time for a change. She weaves creative solutions and options if she sees that these new implementations save time and create overall success. Time for innovation is She can maximizes her creative potential when she Page 10 of 17
  • 11. Time for innovation is time well spent. She can maximizes her creative potential when she takes time to incubate her thoughts. 2 EXCITE Time Map Tanya is Deliberate Tanya can work effectively here for varying periods of time before the attraction of other Dynamics pulls her away. 2nd Dynamic How Tanya experiences time in 2nd Dynamic Focus is on the present. She may become edgy if forced to dwell exclusively in the present. Rhythm has a jazz-like time signature. Tanya can work at an unsteady and spontaneous rhythm but it will begin to feel too chaotic if she does this for long periods of time. Living in the moment. Learning to spend more time in the "now" may provide more opportunities for spontaneity and lightness. Time for relating is time well spent. She has to put an effort into relating on a more emotional and intuitive level. This creates healthier relationships and a more real sense of community. 3 EXAMINE Time Map Tanya is Effortless Time flies when Tanya is engaged in this Dynamic but she intuitively knows when to end her work here and move on. 3rd Dynamic How Tanya experiences time in 3rd Dynamic Focus is on the past. Tanya's energy increases when she looks at historical data and considers what has worked well in the past. Succinctly shortens time and breaks rhythm down into a steady beat. She is content to work at a steady and even pace. Understanding the art of doing little things over a long period of time. She is fortunate to truly understand and practice the art of doing little things over proper periods of time. Time for planning is time well spent. She spends an appropriate amount of time in the planning process before carrying out a project. 4 EXECUTE Time Map Tanya is Effortless Time flies when Tanya is engaged in this Dynamic but she intuitively knows when to end her work here and move on. 4th Dynamic How Tanya experiences time in 4th Dynamic Page 11 of 17
  • 12. Focus is on immediate actions and results. She stays motivated to complete all tasks because she focuses solely on getting the job done. Increases existing tempo. She smoothly speeds up her natural tempo to meet or beat a deadline. Marked by meeting deadlines. She has an inherent respect for deadlines and meets them when the situation calls for it. Time for efficiency is time well spent. Tanya consciously measures time and accomplishment in discrete intervals as nears the end of a project. 5 EVALUATE Time Map This is a universal Dynamic that requires each individual to reflect on the preceding Cycle and anticipate the next. Focus on past, present and future. Pay attention to the unique rhythm of each Dynamic. As each is completed, make a conscious transition to the next. As you complete each Dynamic, take time to review what happened. Evaluate what worked and what did not work. Time can be mastered with awareness and focus. Page 12 of 17
  • 14. Performance Cycle This offers a view of process as a Cycle instead of a straight line. This can assist a person in seeing their process as a repeated pattern. Understanding their process preferences, and strategies for the lower energy phases are keys to success and satisfaction. 1 EXPLORE Performance Cycle Tanya is Effortless Energy: Balanced energy Time: Spends appropriate amount of time 1st Dynamic Properties What Tanya experiences in 1st Dynamic BEGINNING: 1st Dynamic marks the beginning of the Performance Cycle. This is the point at which awareness, new ideas and perceptions are generated. They will become realities in the following Dynamics. When Tanya enters the 1st Dynamic, her energy level and awareness increase. She frees up this energy when she brainstorms, creates and innovates. SETTING: In this Dynamic, the setting has neither boundaries nor order and logic. This is exclusively the realm of awareness, connections and ideas. She is relaxed in this space. FOR A TEAM: For a team, this is the stage where the focus is on brainstorming and on identifying options. She offers the team an abundance of awareness, ideas and creative solutions. CONCLUSION: The culmination of 1st Dynamic should be a renewed vigor that fosters fresh and creative ideas as it moves into 2nd Dynamic. She allows the necessary time and space for the creative potential of the 1st Dynamic to run its course. 2 EXCITE Performance Cycle Tanya is Deliberate Energy: Selective energy Time: Spends moderate amounts of time 2nd Dynamic Properties What Tanya experiences in 2nd Dynamic BEGINNING: The 2nd Dynamic takes new ideas and insights identified during 1st Dynamic and builds a When she enters the 2nd Dynamic, her energy plateaus until she knows whether a motivating type of energy is required by the situation. Page 14 of 17
  • 15. identified during 1st Dynamic and builds a collective energy and excitement around them. type of energy is required by the situation. SETTING: The setting for this Dynamic is positive, warm and light, involving camaraderie, sharing and enthusiasm. Tanya enjoys some elements of this Dynamic. She can radiate enthusiasm for as long as it takes to "sell" an idea or awareness. FOR A TEAM: This Dynamic should foster increased unity within the team that can increase efficiency and provide foundational support for action over the long term. She puts time and energy into feelings, people and developing community. However, it may take a concerted effort for her to constantly maintain these multiple relationships. CONCLUSION: At the conclusion of the 2nd Dynamic the idea has acquired enough energy and excitement for the rigorous processing of 3rd Dynamic. She must purposefully heightens and focuses ideas so that they possess enough energy to shift into the planning stage. 3 EXAMINE Performance Cycle Tanya is Effortless Energy: Balanced energy Time: Spends appropriate amount of time 3rd Dynamic Properties What Tanya experiences in 3rd Dynamic BEGINNING: 3rd Dynamic subjects the now energized idea or ideas to a thorough refining and critical-review process. She enters the 3rd Dynamic with great interest in getting down to the precision and logic of planning. SETTING: The setting of this Dynamic is characterized by logical procedures and rules, limits and boundaries. She voluntarily involves herself in the confines that the 3rd Dynamic creates. FOR A TEAM: At this stage, the team focuses on how the idea can be effectively integrated with existing budgets, timetables and operational standards. Institutional data is used to define this idea according to realistic objectives. Tanya adds value to the team with her natural ability to define structures and standards. She is unreserved about giving or taking criticism. CONCLUSION: At the end of 3rd Dynamic the new idea should be clearly defined, positioned within the organizational context and ready for action and realization in 4th Dynamic. She satisfies the demands for a secure and solid plan, which she needs to move forward into 4th Dynamic. 4 EXECUTE Performance Tanya is Effortless Energy: Balanced energy Time: Spends appropriate amount of time Page 15 of 17
  • 16. Cycle Time: Spends appropriate amount of time 4th Dynamic Properties What Tanya experiences in 4th Dynamic BEGINNING: 4th Dynamic puts 3rd Dynamic's strategic planning into action. She is essentially primed to get through the very productive 4th Dynamic. She easily implements plans within deadlines and other boundaries. SETTING: The setting in this Dynamic is one of concentrated effort, speed and achievement. Tanya's energy and rhythm are relaxed while she makes the effort that is required in the 4th Dynamic. FOR A TEAM: This stage propels the team toward rapid completion of the chosen objectives. It demands accountability and requires task-oriented focus. She gets the team to the finish line. She will always keep the focus on the task at hand and do so without reservation. CONCLUSION: Upon completion of 4th Dynamic, externally verifiable results should be presented for assessment in 5th Dynamic (Evaluate). She gets great satisfaction when she checks off the actions that have been completed. 5 EVALUATE Performance Cycle This is a universal Dynamic that requires each individual to reflect on the preceding Cycle and anticipate the next. BEGINNING: The beginning of 5th dynamic marks an end of one Cycle and the beginning of the next. As you enter this Dynamic, be prepared to critique the work that's been done in the previous four. SETTING: The setting of this Dynamic is reflective and analytical. What worked and what did not work in the previous Dynamics? FOR A TEAM: This is the point in the Cycle that presents the greatest potential for team improvement. As a group, look at how the process worked. Was the group aware of its process in the moment? Which individuals dealt well with their stress factors? Who stepped up? CONCLUSION: The conclusion of 5th Dynamic asks the question, "Is there success and satisfaction?" If the answer is yes, move on to a new Cycle. If the answer is no, look at what went wrong. Make modifications and repeat the Cycle.
