Established 2005
MISSION STATEMENT
To save lives and prevent injuries aEributed to motor-vehicle crashes by altering the public’s
behavior and percepLon of traffic safety thus saving human lives, economic loss and thereby
creaLng a safer community for all.
ABOUT US
CoaliLon members assist to focus efforts on identifying and creating
opportuniLes for changing our culture as it relates to traffic safety. As a
coaliLon we focus on how to make the most direct impact through
engineering, enforcement, educaLon, training, public health, communicaLons
and other efforts.
The coaliLon uses informaLon, crash data, technology, resources and skills to
idenLfy traffic safety issues, plan traffic safety initiaLves, generate
coordinated action, evaluate, and communicate results.
Members are highly encouraged to collaborate and assist in breaking all types
of barriers to ensure transforming Traffic Safety as a high priority through
leadership, commitment of resources and best pracLces.
