In an effort to provide opportunities for all parents to participate in
school PTA programs, the National PTA launchedThree for Me.
Aimed at increasing support of student learning,Three for Me
opens up avenues for parents and PTAs to collaborate inside and
outside of schools.The online resource center can be located at
www.pta.org, and offers a range of helpful tools, including ideas to
strengthen home, school, and community partnerships as well as
forums to motivate parent participation.

Additionally, a tip sheet called Benefits forYour School can be
given to parents to illustrate how donated time impacts their
child’s school.This document serves as knowledge and
encouragement to join the PTA. For example, parents who
contribute three hours to PTA initiatives can help schools host
events and programs more efficiently and therefore achieve
fundraising goals that are necessary to purchase school supplies.
Certificates are also supplied to commend families for their
continuous support.
