An analog computer or analogue computer is a type of computer that
uses the continuous variation aspect of physical phenomena such as
electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic quantities to model the problem
being solved
Hybrid
Computer
Hybrid computers are computers that exhibit features of analog computers and digital
computers. The digital component normally serves as the controller and provides
logical and numerical operations, while the analog component often serves as a solver
of differential equations and other mathematically complex problems.
Personal
Computer
A personal computer is a multi-purpose microcomputer
whose size, capabilities, and price make it feasible for
individual use. Personal computers are intended to be
operated directly by an end user, rather than by a computer
expert or technician.
In computer science, a digital electronic computer is a computer machine which
is both an electronic computer and a digital computer. Examples of digital
electronic computers include the IBM PC, the Apple Macintosh, and modern
smartphones
Supercomputers are general-purpose computers that function at
the highest operational rate or peak performance for computers.
Processing power is the main difference between
supercomputers and general-purpose computer systems.
