3. INTRODUCTION
Founded in year 2013,GIRISH
DOSHI, PUNE is located in Pune,
Maharashtra. It is a college
affiliated to university approved
by Council Of Architecture. It is
affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune
University, Pune. The institute
offers Under Graduate courses in
various disciplines like Engineering
& Technology.

5. IMPORTANCE
Basically college is design
according to the climate (vastu
shastra) which is a big advantage
because they will have more
natural lights and natural
ventilation. The college structure
is made with the rcc and exposed
brick. The design is done in a
symmetrical form which is a
mirror of half structure.

6. CAMPUS
In this college they have different
names for the area like for the
campus they say muktangan and
for the classes / studios they have
different colours names. In the
centre they have the campus and
surrounding they have their
classes , computer lab , library ,
exhibhition room and many more.

8. LIBRARY
Library is in first floor and
designed in such a way that they
need less artificial lights and more
natural lights and ventilation. The
ceiling is in slope form and
structure is in raw finish.

In this room they had
displayed students project for
the juniors and other faculty
members of the college.

In the second floor they have
interior design classes and
they have the hod cabin. As
you can see in the image they
have used big windows so
that the natural lights can
come easily. Second image is
about the faculty room in
which they have the partition
for the different faculty.

In the ground floor they have
4 studios which is having a
drafting tables and each class
is having a capacity of around
40 students. The name of the
classroom are in different
colour name like magenta ,
blue , etc.And some
classroom name are of
architect like stain , raje ,
varkey.

16. TERRACE / ROOF STRUCTURE
As you can see the
roof is made in a hut
shape and texture is
of exposed brick and
it is a symmetric
form.The finish is of
raw concrete/rcc.

17. CANTEEN/SMALL CAFE.
Canteen area was a small with minimum sitting and tables. It was
having many artificial lights and electrical work was done in such a way
it was creating a design.

18. OPEN THEATRE (TARANGAN)
There was open space where
professor and student discuss
about the topic.
