3. General Agreement on Tariffs and
Trade (GATT) was a multiateral
agreement regulating international
trade.
It was created in 1948 with the aim
of bolstering international trade by
reducing trade by reducing trade

negotiations.
GATT was signed by 23 nations
in Geneva on oct 30,1947 and took
effect on jan 1,1948
