Steven Senne currently serves as Chief Technology Officer
and Vice President for Finley Engineering. A Finley
Engineering employee since 1988, he has progressed
through a variety of positions in the company. He started
as a Project Engineer in the Minnesota office with
responsibility for feasibility studies, central office
switching equipment, project management and
supervision of the installations and acceptance testing
service for independent telephone companies.
In 1994, Mr. Senne became a Senior Project Engineer and
Department Manager of Finley’s operations in Iowa and
was in charge of managing numerous independent
telephone company projects involving next generation
digital switches, Voice over IP, IPTV video and FTTP
deployments.
In 2006, he assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer
for Finley Engineering where he is responsible for
establishing the company’s technical vision and leading all
aspects of the company’s strategic technical development.
Senne is a graduate of Iowa State University with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and
is currently licensed as a Professional Engineer in 8 states.

VP, DEPARTMENT MANAGER (1994-2006): FINLEY Engineering - Urbandale, IA
Department Manager for the Urbandale, Iowa office providing independent telephone
company and educational institution engineering services. Responsible for independent
telephone and educational institution client consulting services including feasibility studies,
plans and specifications development, project coordination, construction observation,
acceptance testing and supervision of Finley Engineering's personnel involved in projects such
as FITL/FTTC/FTTP outside plant rebuilds, central office switching equipment upgrades and
replacements, miscellaneous central office equipment, CATV, video transmission equipment
and Distance Learning studio-classroom equipment.
PROJECT ENGINEER (1988-1994): FINLEY - Slayton, MN
Responsible for feasibility studies, central office switching equipment, lightwave terminals,
channel banks, digital cross connect equipment, video transmission equipment, studio-
classroom equipment and miscellaneous equipment plans and specifications for independent
telephone company and educational institution engineering clients. Performed installation
supervision and acceptance testing services and construction observation outside plant
construction projects.
